we had an awesome stay. plenty of room for our family of 18. the kids loved the back yard and fishing from the dock. saw deer everyday. the house has everything you need. a couple of things to know- the house itself is fine for people with mobility issues but it is a long walk to the water and also know that the laundry room is in the master bedroom. would definitely stay here again!!

Fun Family Valley

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The house is very roomy with plenty of outdoor areas for entertainment. The kids we so excited about seeing so much wildlife in the back area. I would recommend this property to any one wanting a fun, yet relaxing vacation!

The house and property were really beautiful. The rooms were nice sized and furnished nicely. The only problem was we were all older and the accessibility was more designed for younger folks.

We had a great stay and the house could accommodate our large family of almost 20! Beautiful scenery and so private. The only criticism I have is that the property can sleep 20, but there were certain things that couldn’t accommodated 20 people (like enough silverware). Also, checkout requirements were a bit stressful for a large party (like all the towels must be washed). Overall a wonderful stay!

We visited Driftwood Retreat for a family reunion and was not disappointed. There was plenty of space for all of us. Having 2 refrigerators and all the kitchen necessities was great. Beds were super comfortable and plenty of additional pillows and blankets. We were greeted each evening by deer and even had a raccoon pay us a visit. We rented a Pontoon boat and the Marina was only a 20 minute drive. Would definately recommend.

Very pretty property. We have stayed here several times for our Christmas get togethers. We always have enjoyed the stay. We play games, exchange gifts and eat a lot of good food.

Beautiful property!

Stayed here with three other families and had a great time! Plenty of space to spread out. Great deck space. Fully stocked and huge kitchen. Never ran out of hot water for showers even with 15 people! Plenty of towels, blanket and pillows. Boat dock was brand new and huge. The deer in the yard was so cool! Driveway very steep but plenty of car parking spots.

It’s a beautiful property with plenty of towels etc. The ice maker would only make a few ice cubes

We enjoyed the wildlife and the amount of space. The water was very shallow there and hard for boating. We were put off by paying such a high cleaning fee then being asked to wash and put away dishes, sheets and wash towels. We have scheduled another place for next year because of that. BUT we did enjoy the property.

Great location and home

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay with 21 family members reuniting. Plenty of space, lots of kitchen space and supplies, located right on a great lake spot for fishing, skiing, tubing and etc. We will definitely be back!

Great Property

This was exactly what we were looking for! We had 4 families (16 people total) and had plenty of room in the house. We swam right off the dock, hung around the fire pit, enjoyed the covered porch in the rain, appreciated the cleanliness of the hot tub and the fact that there was a flat area in front of the house for yard games. Just be aware that it’s a steep driveway and the walk to the dock can be challenging for people with mobility issues, but these things were not a problem for any of the guests during our stay. Loved seeing all of the deer and we already began discussing plans to come back. Definitely a great find!

Lake Vacation

Minus a few missing door handles and a broken bed, which we were able to fix enough to sleep on, this place was perfect. Lots of updates and easily accommodated our three families with 6 kids under 5. We would definitely recommend it to others!

Everything was pretty good.

Overall it was nice. Had problem with main suite TV. Personally, if there was a storm and I knew there may have been electricity off, I would have checked the property. I think that was the situation at the dock. Should have been checked. Also, no way we could get our boat down the drive.

Quiet and Secluded

We loved our stay at Driftwood! There were 8 adults and we found the house to have plenty of space to cook, eat, play games, and relax. The deer come right up to the house here! You may wish to note that the driveway is very steep and the roads leading to the house are curvy. The host was great, she answered all of my questions quickly.

We loved sharing our home (Edgewater Retreat) . Our guest said that they loved our home and enjoyed working with us. They were not happy because it stayed booked all the time. They kept wanting time that we didn't have open. This home Driftwood came open and was near our other one. So we took it on in order to try to help our guest that wanted to come back for a visit.
We are so excited with Driftwood.
We just love meeting and sharing our homes with our guest.
Its nice to help make family memories .

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Driftwood is a nice size home and near our home Edgewater Retreat. It sits on the water so you have easy access to the water. Its secluded and makes for a great get away.
Most of our guest come and meet up with other family members to have
a reunion . So with the size of Driftwood it works very well.
