This is our family cabin that sits on the bank of the Wenatchee River, near the town of Plain. The upstairs loft has a king sized bed and two single beds, the downstairs bedroom has a king sized bed. It's a really comfortable place, much better than a boring motel room. The outside deck is a great spot to hang out, you can see the river from the deck.
The kitchen has everything you need to cook and there is a Weber grill on the deck.
This area is central to the great outdoors, you can ski in the winter or bike and raft in the summer. Leavenworth is a 20 minute drive and Lake Wenatchee is 10 minutes away.
This is best for a family or two couples.

About Brian O'Hea
This is our family cabin; as our kids have gotten older and involved in sports, etc. we are not able to get to it as much as we would like. It's a great place to relax or to explore the area. Hiking and biking are minutes away, the river is right out the front door.
Brian O'Hea purchased this Cabin in 2002
Why Brian O'Hea chose Leavenworth
The cabin is a great getaway, but it is close enough to Leavenworth if you are looking for something to do in town. There are also some wine tasting rooms that have just opened up in Plain. The cabin is in a development called the 'Ponderosa'; it is a quieter scene and not the place if you want to have an all night party. Because the property is on the river I don't like to rent to families with infants or toddlers, especially in the spring when the river is at it's peak.

River front cabin
Cute cabin. Well equipped. Convenient location. Worked really well for our "girls" getaway.
Martha and her friends took great care of my place, they are welcome back anytime
Perfect for setting back and relaxing. Just watching the Wenatchee River go by, made all the stress of everyday life lift off of your shoulders.
We had an awesome at the cabin, it sit right next to the river and it is close enoght that you do not need to drive to town. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys the out door, but love the comfort of a home.
Great Place to Stay!
Cutest little cabin, it was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. Perfect for a peaceful little getaway. We would definitely return!
Lovely weekend in the snow
We had a great time at the cabin! The view of the river is amazing! My son loved that there was a sledding hill just down the road. The house was nice and clean, comfy beds and well stocked kitchen. One star off because the kitchen is small. Tricky to do the dishes etc.
Lovely winter wonderland
We arrived about 1 am Saturday due to weather but had no issues with the GPS. Winter tires are necessary getting there (or leaving) if it has snowed. The pictures do not show how pleasant this little place is. The fire place heats up quickly and gives a wonderful ambiance. The snow covered groud leading to the river was a great setting to wake to in the mornings. My kids enjoyed sledding down the driveway and playing with the neighbors dogs. With the road conditions it was 35 minutes to and from Leavenworth but the town is beautiful covered in snow and Christmas lights. There were many games and toys for the children to play with. The one thing that did bother me was some of the outdated food and condiments. I really wanted to throw the stuff out but it wasn't mine to do so....
Will definitely keep this place in mind for future stays.
In the 'Ponderosa' development in Plain, 25 minute drive to Leavenworth, 15 minutes to Lake Wenatchee

Additional information about rental rates
Sorry, no pets It's a 2 night minimum stay. Check in and checkout at 1 PM-there is some flexibility based on housekeepers schedule and when the next renters are arriving. Because we are on the river, I prefer children be at least 10 years old.
