PETS: We will consider pets on a case-by-case basis but because we have experienced costly damages from pets we'll ask an additional damage deposit (which may be applied after booking if you use the automated booking option).

Fantastic location, centrally located: 1/2 mile east is Elitch Gardens, REI, aquarium, children's museum, and just beyond that is the thriving Riverfront/Union Station neighborhood of Denver. 1/2 mile south is the Broncos' football stadium (Sports Authority Field at Mile High). Just to the north are the restaurants, bars, and shops of the Highlands. Just to the West is the scenic and growing Sloan's Lake area.

About the owner: I moved to Breckenridge from Minneapolis in 1999 to enjoy skiing and mountain biking, then to the Denver area a few years later. I've been amazed at the rapid and exciting developments in Denver, with great restaurants, brewpubs, and new buildings and businesses going up everywhere, all built around an enlightened transportation plan. My wife and I own two ski rentals (Breckenridge and Winter Park), and when we realized what was beginning to happen in Denver we wanted to be part of it. We purchased our first Denver property in the Riverfront neighborhood (near Union Station) in 20012 and a second in 2013.
Why the Owner Chose Jefferson Park, Denver, CO, USA:
After buying two Denver rental properties in 2012 and 2013, we were not planning to buy any more until we noticed this charming and unusual carriage house in Jefferson Park. Previously we were not even aware of this neighborhood despite its proximity to Riverfront, the Highlands, and many areas we visit frequently. There's something cozy and comforting about this place which feels as if it's up in the trees and in an old lived-in neighborhood, one that is rapidly evolving into a destination for dining and nightlife, with multiple neighborhood places within a short walk from the unit. I've enjoyed it so much I've delayed listing it for rent for most of a year, instead using it for myself as an occasional office, in-town getaway, a place watch movies or sports, or a home base to explore the neighborhood restaurants.
The Unique Benefits at this Bungalow:
Standalone means no walls to share with neighbors (though it is above some residential garages so occasionally you'll hear a door open or close). Great appliances and TV mean luxury living despite the modest size. Fantastic deck with trellises above adds another 200+ square footage. Location is a short drive or bicycle ride from Denver and the Highlands and also a short walk to numerous restaurants and taverns.
