Very nice property, and pleasant owners.. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
Thank you for your kind review! It was our pleasure to have you and your family stay at the Comal Inn. You and your family are always welcome back.
Clean, charming and lovely!
Great free breakfast with more than enough food. Perfect location near the Comal, Schlitterbaun and Gruene. Hope to return one day!
From the moment we entered, I could not stop "gushing" over our room and all of the wonderful little details that set it apart from a standard hotel room. Fresh flowers on the table along with breakfast pastries from a local bakery were among the special touches. My husband loved having the power strip on each side of the bed to plug in phone, tablets, etc. The fan and jacuzzi tub were also welcome additions. It was the PERFECT place to celebrate our 10 years together, and we look forward to returning.
Perfect get away!
Quaint and quiet. The pictures do not do it justice. The room was perfect! We enjoyed our long weekend so much We will only stay here when in town. Thank you Julie and Brent.
My mom myself and aunt came down for a girls weekend. This place is great!
No noise, no traffic, just a peaceful tranquil area. Which is what we needed.
I love the cypress room! So much charm and character. I could stay here forever. They do a great job making you feel welcome! From fresh flowers to fresh baked goods!
I will be back for sure! Loved our breakfast!!!
Cozy and Convenient
Spent a night in the Cypress Room. Bed was very comfortable, Room was nicely decorated and very clean. This may sound weird but one of nicest features we found was a surge protector attached to the side of each night stand. It was great to plug in electronics for recharging overnight. The Comal Inn is tucked away in a traditional neighborhood. Each unit was just as cute as the next. Room had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again. Julie and Brent are very accommodating and made the stay a pleasurable experience.
The Comal Inn is unique, historic, and charming. The Inn is located in the heart of New Braunfels, Texas. Located only a half-a-block from the Comal River and public access, one block from Schlitterbahn, and three blocks from the historic downtown New Braunfels.
From the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce:
'Jump into the heart of the Texas Hill Country and you'll find New Braunfels. Founded in 1845 by German settlers, our town is over flowing with old world heritage and small town charm. Stroll in to our city with a walking tour, take in our great museums, historic districts, and performing arts.
Enjoy family fun at the country's number one water park, Schlitterbahn, with 65 acres of family fun and folks can bring their own picnic. Float our two clear clean rivers, Texas style in a 'toob'! See the largest caverns in Texas at Natural Bridge Caverns and family safari next door at Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. Ride the miniature train in the most beautiful walking arboretum, Landa Park. Enjoy our nationally registered Historic District of Gruene, featuring wine tasting, shopping, dining, and dancing.'
