Usually properties look worse in person than in photos however this was even better in person! Very nice setup, lots of room, and our dogs loved all the room outside. We had events in Lexington, and this was a perfect place to relax to at night away from the city. The host is very attentive and kind. Overall a great place to stay and easy to settle into with a thoughtful layout.

The Barn at Deva's Farm exceeded our expectations in every way. We have been to several pet friendly rentals and none were as accommodating as Gwen's farm. You really don't even have to have a pet to enjoy this wonderful place. It was so relaxing, peaceful and quiet. Everything you need is supplied for you, from the first class kitchen appliances, cookware and dishes to the little extras your pet may enjoy.The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very pretty. We enjoyed the fire pit looking over the countryside and the comfy patio for relaxation and conversations. Gwen and Mark were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed talking with them. We will definitely plan on returning one day.

Beautiful property out in the country! The rolling hills, peace & quiet and cows made for a perfect place to relax and unwind. Could not ask for a nicer place to stay. All the amenities and then some were available. Plus everything was labeled to make it easy to find. Gwen is a wonderful host! If ever in the area again we will definitely stay again.

Great place at a great price for four or five friends or family. Off scenic byways among horse and beef cattle farms. Near Lexington, Cynthiana or Paris. Short drive from Louisville. Hostess with the mostest!

The Barn is a gorgeous property in a tranquil setting. The furnishings/decor are clean, uncluttered, and very comfortable. The bedding was luxurious...best sleep I've ever had at a VRBO. Gwen, our host, made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying at The Barn.

The description was on point! This was the perfect spot for my daughter and me to have a stay-cation for her UKY spring break while she tended to her horse!In all of my stays this place had EVERYTHING and when I needed just 1 egg Gwen provided that! Best kitchen with easy to find cooking/baking supplies... even had seasonings for my lasagna!My daughter loved the comfy living room furniture and ample TV entertainment options!The beds and showers were divine! Seriously, makes me want a sleep number bed at home!We had everything we needed for glorious firepit and s'mores while watching the most amazing sunset!The sunrises were amazing as well! Gwen welcomed my daughter who arrived before me and responded quickly to all our questions/needs! She even helped us finding a great place for a massage!I highly recommend Deva's Farm for a relaxing bluegrass getaway!

Great Stay!

We stayed for the weekend for Breyerfest. I had teenage girls with me. The host checked in on us and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The property had everything we could think of! We plan to stay against next year. Great place to stay!

Our stay at Deva's Farm was excellent ... Gwen was VERY welcoming, warm & gracious ... Definitely WILL stay again should the need arise.The Barn is modern in style and everything was in good repair and working as it should ... We are an older couple (60's) with our mini schnauzer and it fit or wants & needs very nicely ... The TV had an array of programming fully available at no extra charge - which was a saver since the weather during our stay wasn't too hospitable.THANK YOU for the hospitality!

A relaxing stay at The Barn!

This property is so peaceful and fun. We enjoyed the sounds of spring birds and the occasional cow. The barn is so well designed and has anything you might need during your stay. We loved it.

Gwen, native Kentuckian, organic vegetable farmer, bourbon tour guide, loves to cook, comes alive when meeting new people, and volunteers for several organizations in Paris, Ky. Mark, originally from Williamsburg, Virginia, loves Kentucky for it's pastoral views, excellent cycling roads, and Bourbon whiskey. Both enjoy travelling wherever it may take them, domestic or international with a penchant for Italy and the UK.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We fell in love with Bourbon County, Kentucky long before we lived in its look-alike cousin, Wiltshire, England, for five lovely years. Our plan several years ago was to buy this Kentucky pasture (37 acres of gorgeous views and fertile soil), build a homestead and live out our years tending to the earth, our animals and ourselves.

The lovely town of Paris is 6 miles away and while we could use that as our base for most of our needs, with Lexington only 30 minutes away we knew we were set. We almost did exactly that, but with just a few changes. Whilst living in England, we bought a historic home in beautiful downtown Paris, Kentucky, rented it to others while we were away, and then moved into that house upon our return from England. Now, since it is not yet the time to retire, you will find Gwen tending to the earth at the farm while Mark is at the office (bringing home the bacon).

We now have a barn at the farm! Well, this barn is just a bit different as it includes an apartment and a farm kitchen to suit our changing needs. The barn allows us to get on with it, and to rent the apartment to others who enjoy gorgeous country views, relaxing atmosphere, small town living, sweet country cycling roads, and all things Bourbon and Horse! We know our friends and family love to visit the area, and we know you will, too. We love to hear the stories of your stay and adventures at week’s end. Come see us!
