Our stay

I booked this for my 5 year old and I. It was okay for a last minute getaway. The floors were dirty though and the pull out sofa mattress was not comfortable at all. It’s near an elevator and I heard everyone coming and going all through the night in the bedroom , so we slept on sofa bed. But, we had fun regardless! Pool and beach area is great. And poolside restaurant offers a few meals which was really convenient.

Extremely crowded

Overall it was a good stay. The bedding needs updated, king size bed needs to be replaced, mattress was horrible . Comforter was ragged. Previous guest must have burnt something in microwave, had a distinct smell even after buying candles. Air was cold, water pressure was good. We will consider staying again for the price. Worst part of the stay was the elevators , which can be expected.

Needs updating!

The décor is dated and kitchen is not well equipped- 4 spoons and 4 forks! The refrigerator was not working when we arrived and ice maker is broke. They had a mini fridge in the hallway to use but didn’t tell us the fridge was out until I put $200 of groceries in it and realize 4 hours later it’s hot bad my food was too. So they brought a third fridge. Owner needs to replace fridge and update and paint. Bedroom is loud at night with the elevators right beside the unit and the noise from traffic. Parking deck and elevators can be a nightmare too!

A great place to stay!

Overall this was a good place to stay. We were concerned that the bedding wasn’t freshly washed because there was something on the comforter when we got there. Other than this the place was really nice, there could be brighter light in the bedroom but I’m just picky lol :) I will say parking on-site was a mess. This is mainly because we drove a vehicle over 7’. When asking how tall the parking garage was, we were told it was 8’ and once we got down there it was 7’. There was an over 7’ parking lot but it was way too small and hard to get in and a lot of times there were vehicles under 7’ in the lot. Every time we went to park we had to speak to security and ask where we could park. The parking is just a Majestic Beach Resort issue rather than a Panhandle Getaways issue but it did cause us trouble while staying here. But if you drive a vehicle under 7’ parking should be a breeze!

Great place to stay

The room was exactly as advertised. Amazing view from the balcony. The room was clean, comfortable king size bed. The pools were great. The H2O bar & grill poolside had wonderful food!! Truly we were pleasantly surprised by the bar & grill. The Majestic market offered everything from milk to sunscreen. The staff were all very friendly. I will say this to those who are planning to stay here or in any other large hotel/condos in PCB…there is a very long wait for the elevators at check in. This fact would not stop me from staying here again. You should be prepared! There is a line and you will have to wait. We vacation in PCB every year and the elevator issue at check in applies to all large hotel/resorts/condos. It is just part of the experience!

Wonderful vacay without the comforts of home

My mom and I enjoyed our beach vacation at Majestic Beach! The rom is conveniently located by the elevator so getting to and from our room was easy. The staff at Majestic was very helpful. There were some things that weren’t so great. Very noisy at night! Alot of the younger crowd out and about very late at night, blasting their music and reving up their cars and motorcycles. Our room was not clean when we arrived. The VRBO page said this room sleeps 4 but there were not any linens for queen pullout sleeper sofa. There wasn’t enough kitchen utensils and cookware . The room could really use an update, but overall we enjoyed our time.

Nice beach building but condo unit needs a deep cleaning.

Condo is close to beach with a beautiful view. But you have to endure black feet because floors are dirty. There is black mold around tub and the tub has a stopper that is broken. Condo needs a good paint job but first wash the floor molding that has layers of dust and dirt. The bathroom outlet did not work so you have to find another place to blow dry or curl hair. The kitchen has many cabinets with broken hinges. The bedroom has a rusty closet door with broken mirror. I expect better when paying thus much at the beach. Needs a new mattress and new furniture. The patio chairs are busting through. It’s a shame to have this place in the nice Majestic and not keep it up.

Sandy floors

Floors felt like they were part of the beach when we first arrived. Lot of sand on floors. Other than that, elevators were a big issue for us and everyone we encountered. Most people said they would never come back because of the elevator situation

Overcrowded

Great View

Perfect size for 2 adults and 7 year old child. Nice indoor pool and outside pool since my kid were scared to swimming ocean. We saw dolphin from the balcony.

The tub had black gummy stuff in the jets

Couldn’t enjoy a bath in the tub, the jets squirt all the way to the door and had black gummy sludge in the jets. It was a bad timing due to the red tide. We didn’t get to swim in the ocean and enjoy the time there because the air was infected with the red tide stuff that irritated our lungs and couldn’t breathe good. My girlfriend thought she was sick. We got to enjoy some but really it wasn’t worth it to be honest. Wish that we would have known about the red tide. Never heard of it before and could have been advised that it was around. Just wish we could have enjoyed the ocean and the air quality

Early May Get-away

Condo was extremely clean, as have been all the ones at The Magellan. Corner Room location was right at the elevator and great. Furnishings were adequate, but the chair and sofa desperately needed to be replaced. Every time you sat on the hide-a-bed sofa, or got up, it groaned. Springs completely shot in it, ,as in the chair. The bed also had a problem. If you turned over suddenly the headboard banged the wall. The middle of the bed sank in and the mattress sides curved up. I honestly think there was a problem with whatever support was beneath the mattress as the mattress was very thick and should have been comfortable. Also, at times the support system let out a popping sound. Bathroom was fine, but I would suggest a grab bar to hold as you enter tub. The spa tub is very deep and 65-year-old knees don't bend well. I solved this by spreading a hand towel on edge of tub, sitting on this, and putting good leg in tub first. Thought kitchen was well-appointed but over the years silverware has evaporated to four teaspoons, two or three steak knives, etc. Thought the owner would want an honest critique as all things I mentioned are a quick and inexpensive fix. With newer sofa and chair, I would book this unit again.

nice view

staff helpful and friendly. site clean, parking good easy to unload vechicle at Majestic Tower 1. Our condo had a nice view of beach and gulf. really liked this condo. only thing we didn't like close to elevators and some elevator noise also if wind blew the right way a natural wind tunnel occurred causing alot of noise by the front door and bedroom. over all we liked it

Great!

We had a great time! We were able to check in earlier and the condo was just the same as on the picture. We had a great time! I was disappointed not being able to get in the indoor gym. I have been to Panama City Beach many times and rented many different condos but this is the only one requires extra 10.00 per person per day. Other than that, it was perfect!

AWESOME!

We arrived the night before Labor Day as expected the place was fully booked. It took a while to wait on the elevator since our unit was on the 18th floor. The day after labor day when 80% of the people have left there is no more wait time on the elevator. We entered our unit and it was very nice and clean. I loved the full size fridge and granite kitchen countertops. Our king bed was so comfortable I did not get to wake up early and watch the sunrise at the beach. Nothing bad to say about our stay at the condo. I've got all the pre-check in information I needed by downloading the app. The staff from Panhandle Vacations are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely book my next vacation with VRBO and Panhandle Vacations.
