Apartments in Agia Effimia
The apartment was very well presented but basic and had all the requirements that are needed. The balcony and position are its best features. The hosts were very helpful.
Night time arrival problem
Everything was excellent, with one small exception. Due to ferry problems, we arrived late at night, in the dark (9pm). It would have been very helpful if we had been sent a map and clear written instructions on how to find the apartment and where to collect the key. Easy in daylight, difficult at night!
Otherwise, thanks for everything, a lovely apartment in a delightful location.
Stayed here several times and love it's position and attractive balcony (cactus and geraniums). Much better since the kitchen has been moved, just needs a sofa now!
Fantastic venue and just renovated.
The area is lovely. Were pleasantly surprised when we arrived as the kitchen had been fully updated. Apartment is now really clean and freshly painted. Location is great with local shops, bars and taverna's. Perfectly sighted mid Island for exploring. The Island has breath-taking scenery. Host was really helpful and left a welcome pack.
Brilliant location, amazing view, desperately in need of updating.
The apartment is perfectly situated and has amazing views. Unfortunately the property itself is in need of updating, de cluttering and the kitchen is almost non existent and unusable for anything more than making a drink.
Despite that however, the apartment is well positioned to easily access all the local tavernas and is very close to the harbour.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Your opinion is really important to us. The kitchen has now been updated and renewed, as shown in the photos. We do hope that we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back on any future visit of yours in Kefalonia. Kind regards
Everything was close by, which suited us. The facilities in Agia Efimia are just right, good local supermarkets and Tavernas. Just below the flat (on the sea front) is a little bakery which sells nice fresh bread.
The town itself is well positioned if you wish to tour the island. There were quite a lot of English people there, but I didn't mind that.
Driving on Kefalonia is a little challenging because the roads go up and down steep slopes. You have to be careful and drive slowly.
The apartment has a splendid balcony which is a great place to sit and contemplate the activity around the bay. Inside, it is well furnished and everything we needed was there. Perhaps the kitchen was a little small, but it was possible to cook there.
The owner, Mr Papadatos, was kind and helped us to settle in. A cleaner appeared regularly and replaced our towels. The neighbour upstairs was very nice. We felt 'looked after'.
We would definitely return to this flat in the future.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Your opinion is important to us. The kitchen has now been updated and renewed, as shown in the photos.
