The home sits on over an acre with open lots surrounding the property and lush, mature landscaping for plenty of privacy. During the winter, there is plenty of room for the kids to get out and play in the snow for hours! During the summer enjoy croquet, bocci ball, rolling around in the soft Kentucky bluegrass, and the abundance of flowering plants and fruit trees throughout the property There is also Wifi in the house, Bluetooth and DirectTV in both living areas.

The unique floor plan provides space and room for everyone. There are 3 levels in the home. On a river-rock area in the corner of the living room sits a-wood burning fireplace that gives the downstairs living area a rustic, cabin-like feel. The top level of the home contains the master bedroom (California king), full bath and large loft/sitting area overlooking the den. The kitchen is fully stocked, has a large pantry, and is and ready for entertaining. The garage also contains an extra refrigerator for storage. All bedrooms have closets and dressers so everyone can unpack and stay organized. The heated 3-car garage serves as a playroom housing a ping pong table, pool table, foosball table, and bluetooth stereo. Perfect for the kids!

About Carol And Rod Christ

This home is our escape from real life in Houston! We fell in love with Teton Valley in 2007 while skiing with friends. We returned in the summer of 2008 and quickly realized that summers in Teton Valley were nothing more than Majestic. At that moment we decided this was the place for our second family home, and quickly purchased this property. We invite you to come and experience the "Magic" of Teton Valley, our families favorite place!

Carol And Rod Christ purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Carol And Rod Christ chose Teton Valley

This house screamed "Family" the minute we turned in to the drive. The lusciously soft bright green bluegrass, fluttering aspen leaves and blooming flowers were amazing. We loved that our boys could have a yard, their own private space downstairs, an exceptional game room in garage and endless mountain adventures. A place where lifetime memories are made.

What makes this cabin unique

While the house boasts private spaces for all, the most unique feature is the wonderfully spacious and naturally shaded lawn. There are many summers where we find ourselves doing nothing more than breathing crisp cool mountain air, while sitting in the Adirondacks under a very mature Aspen Grove. Come and see for yourself!

Great home, location, and view!

  • 5 of 5

The home was clean, convenient, comfortable. The owners were responsive before we arrived and we had no problems at all. The location is quiet but still convenient to Driggs and the attractions in the area. Beautiful area including Driggs and Victor where we saw moose, bought groceries, ate out. Also had side excursions to Yellowstone and Grand Teton as well as Jackson across the pass. Stunning views and nature all throughout the area. Would highly recommend the area and this home. Thanks for a great stay!

Relaxing! Beautiful! Fun!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this sweet mountain house nestled in the valley. When we arrived, there were a nice hand-written note of welcome and a bottle of wine waiting for us with the key on the kitchen table. We thought the family room was cozy and inviting with big comfortable couches, windows on three sides, and an old-fashioned stove to warm up the room. There is also a basement family room for the kids if they want to watch their own movies while the adults are upstairs or vice versa. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with more dishes and cookware than I have ever seen in any VRBO house, plus dish towels, dishwasher soap, trash bags, paper towels, and even coffee and tea. The bedrooms were comfortable and fitted with nice pillows and linens and plenty of storage space, and all of the bathrooms had fresh clean showers and were brimming with fluffy towels and bath mats. There is a bright new laundry room to use during a week's stay, and you'll definitely want to soak in the outdoor hot tub. The house is spotless and warmly decorated with lots of cute pictures of the owners and their children displayed throughout, which makes you feel more like you're there as a special guest rather than an anonymous renter.

The little town of Driggs (and also the nearby town of Victor) was a wonderful surprise too--replete with all of the main street amenities you'd expect in a small town close to ski slopes, including coffee shops, an art gallery, souvenir shops, a soda fountain, a Friday farmer's market, and several good restaurants where you can enjoy a nice meal and glass of wine on the porch. It's an easy drive from Driggs to Jackson Hole, Targhee Resort, Grand Teton National Park, and Yellowstone National Park. Whether you want to sightsee, shop, hike, or just relax and look at the mountains from the deck, you won't go wrong with the Wydaho Camphouse. We can't wait to go back!

Quiet, comfortable retreat close to a variety of activities

  • 5 of 5

This home is located in a quiet area. Its about an hour from Jackson WY and 2 1/2 hours from Yellowstone . The kitchen is well supplied, there are enough dishes for an army. There are plenty of activities on the property to enjoy with a game room in the garage, fire pit in the back, and relaxing hot tub. The bedrooms and house were comfortable, and there is plenty of deck space as well. Carol and Rod are very responsive, we messaged them a couple times for minor issues and received a response and resolution within 30 minutes or less. We thorough enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend this home.

Very nice house and area...

  • 4 of 5

Nice house and easy access to mountain and town. Owners were accommodating and easy. The game room was in a detached garage so a little cold during the winter. Kitchen a little small and tough for more than one person to cook. Those are minor complaints, overall a very good experience.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review. I believe the listing does disclose the game room is in the 3 car insulated garage. We could have turned up the heat if you had let us know it was too cold. Thank you again for your stay.

Great home

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this convenient and scenic location. We were skiing, so it was quick drive up to Targhee, and reasonable for a day trip to Jackson. We like to cook, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make some nice meals at the end of the day. Great hot tub. A really comfortable home with everything we could want. The owners were very helpful with planning and questions too. Would definitely stay here again next year!
