Relaxing property in the middle of fields and tree lined walks. We were able to use the property as a base for near by family to visit with us. Plenty of room for a meal either inside or out. New appliances and very helpful hosts. Would visit again in a heart beat,
The property was in a beautiful location, only half an hour's drive from the beaches at Sandbanks and Branksome Chine and similar to the treasure trove of the heart of the New Forest. However, you don't need to travel because the local area is good to spend time in and the garden is spacious, sunny and well equipped. There was plenty of room for me, my daughter and son-in-law and my nearly 3 year old grandsons. We were all so impressed by the standard of the decoration and equipment and the generosity of our hosts in leaving us food treats and many of life's kitchen essentials that are so easy to forget to bring. We will definitely be returning for another happy holiday

We had a great 4 nights stay. The cottage had everything you could need. Even a lovely home made cake was left for us to enjoy. It felt very homely clean and cosy, a wonderful big garden. The bed was really comfy I actually had good nights sleep, I normally struggle with strange beds when going away. Helen the owner came to see us shortly after we arrived to make sure everything was ok and gave us some ideas of where to go which was nice. We could not fault this cottage at all, will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you Helen and Westrow for accepting our booking.

About the host
Hosted by Helen & Westrow Cooper
We enjoy living in the countryside and helping our guests get the best from their visit. This cottage, which we now offer at certain times of the year only, is where we live. This is why the cats are included. Otherwise, during your stay, you have sole occupancy (we and the dog go elsewhere :-)).
“Westrow is a very thoughtful host who met us upon our arrival and provided a welcoming environment. His place is very well prepared with everything we needed to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. I would highly recommend his place for those looking for a quiet and comfortable accomodation.” Tim, 19 Sept 2019
Why they chose this property
The cottage is full of character with the original timber flooring and panelling, and stripped pine doors, in the heart of the house. It is cosy, comfortable and well-equipped, with a large private garden for play or relaxation. The cottage is out of the way in the countryside, but just a short drive from town with independent shops as well as supermarkets.
"Lovely light, bright cottage with great garden views over the countryside. Lovely homely touches such as fresh bread and a homemade lemon drizzle cake. High quality room decor modernised where needed but keeping the traditional feel. Great cleanliness. Good communication with the owners. Had everything one night ever need - possibly the best stocked holiday cottage I’ve ever stayed in. The owners popped by to check all was ok and live on the estate the cottage is on.” Rosalind, 30 Sept 2019

“A lovely place to stay. Comfortable beds, nicely decorated, very clean and attractive home. The owner, Westrow, was very kind, friendly and helpful and had great tips for where to go in the area. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back if we were in the area again.” Kiri, Sept 2019
“A lovely, tastefully furnished and thoughtfully and generously equipped cottage providing an excellent base for the Dorset countryside and coastline.Plenty of space in both the house and huge garden. We had a super week and would definitely return if Dorset takes our fancy again.” Helen, Aug 2019
