spacious and comfortable
We (2 adults and 3 children) stayed at 126, a 3-bd apartment over Christmas. While there is not much of a view, it is very convenient on the first floor. It is quite as well. There is a full kitchen. On-site restaurant did not serve breakfast. Going out for dinner is easy. Concierge was very helpful with booking dinners for us. I do suggest contacting concierge before you arrive for reservations in popular restaurants. The club runs a shuttle to the village. There is also a town shuttle bus that stops at next door, Marriott. If you want to do grocery shopping, the club shuttle can take you there (City market and Safeway, I think). Donald was very good in keeping us informed about check-in etc. Our check-in was seamless. We are planning to go back to Vail next winter.

Great location, layout and service
My wife and I loved our visit to the Ritz Carlton Club at Vail. The place was beautiful, spacious and located just steps from the gondolas up the mountain. Lot's of hiking options in the area and the people at the Ritz treated us extremely well. Donald's suggestions prior to our visit gave us a head start on all of the things we wanted to do. We would definitely recommend this for those who want service and quality during their trip to the mountains.

Perfect Spring Break Vacation thanks to Don Archer!
We have used Don Archer's services before, and he has always provided fantastic experiences with great properties. The Ritz Club in Vail is absolutely top notch. Don suggested we stay here on our first trip to Vail. We had a two bedroom unit that was beautiful, well equipped, and very quiet! The service at the Ritz was outstanding, we loved the ski valet service. It was so nice to have a room to put on our boots(actually they will put them on for you!), and then a very short bus ride to the gondola with the friendliest drivers, who insisted we take water and granola bars(good move). At the gondola, we were greeted by hosts who had our skis. At the end of the day, simply drop off. The Ritz also hosted events after skiing, such as a wine and cheese tasting, and the best hot chocolate bar ever. Hot tub and pool were a great way to relax in evening prior to sitting in front of our fireplace. The concierge service contacted us several times prior to our trip, and made great suggestions for meals, rentals, and excursions( you will not regret the back country tour snowmobile tour, a highlight for sure), and took care of reservations for us. The entire staff, from the great housekeepers to the drivers were all exceptionally friendly, and genuinely just nice. I don't think any other ski location in Colorado can compare to the Ritz Club if you are looking for a condo type setting. Vail skiing is awesome, cant wait to return in the summer to see another side of Vail!
Don Archer is simply the best to work with, we will use him for all of our vacations!!! Thanks again to Don!

Family trip to Vail over Christmas 2016
We were very fortunate to vacation over the holidays in Vail, CO. We have had ski vacations in this beautiful mountain resort town for many years. In year's past we have stayed at the Marriott, Sonnenalp and the Lodge at Vail. Our children our now all in their early 20's and this year we searched for more spacious accommodations. Our search took us to Donald Archer's website and Vrbo listing for a unit at the Ritz Carlton Club Residences. WOW! Working with Mr. Archer was fabulous. His communications were timely, helpful and thorough. Our unit at the Ritz was absolutely beautiful and the service at the resort was top notch. We had a great week in Vail! We will definitely call upon Mr. Archer to help us find other accommodations for our family in our future travel plans.

Wonderful week in Vail!
We were extremely pleased with our experience both at the Ritz Carlton Club and Residence in Vail and with Donald Archer of Travelscowt. Mr. Archer is a true professional. All his communications were prompt, accurate and informative. We look forward to using his services again in the future.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo within the Ritz Carlton. The unit was spacious and well equipped. Furnishings are traditional in style and very comfortable. Housekeeping both in the unit and in other areas of the hotel was exceptional. The spa although small was very comfortable. The massage therapists were outstanding. The gym is also worth noting - very good equipment, extremely clean and a lovely workout studio with am yoga classes as well as bands, balls, and weights.
All of the common areas are very comfortable and well maintained. The outdoor hot tubs and fire pit provided a nice break after a day on the slopes.
The entire staff went out of their way to guarantee a stress free vacation - The concierge helped with dinner reservations prior to arrival - a must during the ski season in Vail. The Ritz Carlton provided a wonderful oasis - quiet and sophisticated- after a busy day of skiing during the holiday season.
Thank you to Travelscowt and The Ritz Carlton in Vail for a memorable vacation.

Ritz Carlton Vail
I was lucky enough to find a Christmas week @ the Ritz relatively short notice through this VRBO listing. I had been very familiar with the Vail area but have never stayed at the Ritz in Lions head village. This was the first time I had used VRBO so I wanted to make sure I knew as much as possible before I made the booking decision. Donald Archer of Travelscowt took the time to answer my email and speak with me over the phone. He had worked for Marriott and it's Destination club for a long time and knew the resort quite well. The villa exceeded our expectations and the service was what you would expect from the Ritz. They even had a ski caddy that made getting to and from the Gondola a cinch. I will be booking again for the next holiday season and cannot recommend this resort or the services of Travelscowt enough.
