4700 sq ft under roof 1400 ft of screened porches.

Three king suites, one tripple bunk room, desk bed, and two sleeper sofas. Nine beds total.

Five bath rooms, two showers, one bath shower combo.

Seven nights Sunday to Sunday during May, June, July, and August.

Two living areas both with big screen tv.

All king suites also have TV.

Wifi with direct tv.

Boat dock out into the bay.

About John Arnold

I bought the land in 2012 and completed the property by the end of 2013.

I also own property in Taos NM.

My main residence is in Grapevine TX.

I love both the mountains and the island and feel very fortunate to be able to enjoy both.

Gorgeous scenery; Comfortable home

Nine family members had a beautiful Thanksgiving in this spacious home overlooking the water. Upstairs feels like a treehouse and the birds, including eagles and owls, were plentiful. The home accommodated us nicely, but thankfully a couple of people could not make it as two of the bedrooms (bunk & murphy) had no space beyond the beds. Lots of space for hanging out together in the living areas and outside porches. Very close to Apalachicola which is a fun place for seafood and shops. We would come back again.

Perfect bayside house

We've rented many times on bay side of st. George and this house was the best for views, porches, layout, bathrooms, kitchen area and parking. The dock was nice and we had a dolphin visitor. Beach and pool were very short walk. Elevator made unloading so easy. John, the owner, was super helpful. Hope we stay again.

Great Vacation

Its a really nice house. Its far enough from the road so you don't here any street noise. It was really clean and neat. We had a little trouble with the elevator on the first day but they sent somebody right out to repair it and we did not have any more problems with it. My wife likes the house because she likes to set out on the screen porch and read without getting ate up by bugs. We brought kayaks with us on the trip and the grand kids loved kayaking in the bay. One day the dolphins came up around the dock to feed on bait fish. The grand kids loved going to the beach and swimming pool. We took my boat with us and we had a really good time out fishing. We fished from the dock at the house and from the old bridge leaving St. Georges island. We are looking forward to coming back next year. It was really a great place.

Great private family resort

Couldn't ask for a better house or owner! Hope to stay here again. Owner went out of his way to make sure we had a good stay! Felt like we were staying at a friends house!

Beautiful bay views from the back porch

This house has a lovely porch with great views of the bay and sunset. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The house was very clean and the elevator was helpful in loading and unloading the cars. The beach is a short walk away- about 5 minutes. But most days we drove and parked at the plantation pool and fitness center. We had fun fishing off of the dock. The owner was very easy to work with and responded to all inquiries promptly! Our group of 11 was very comfortable in this house and we all had a great time. I would highly recommend this house!

St George Island Plantation is a really nice community and is very secluded, quiet and well kept.

My place is directly across the Bay from the histroic town of Apalachicola.

The beach is very nice and uncrowded.

You will definately feel like your removed from traffic and noise.

This area is known as the forgotten coast.

World class fishing and beach.

The Bay is very pretty and full of wildlife.
