Cette magnifique maison a été construite en 2004. Il a un plan d'étage ouvert avec une décoration chaleureuse et accueillante et une vue magnifique depuis la grande salle ensoleillée. La plage immaculée est à une courte distance de marche sur le chemin de la plage à cÎté de la maison, sans rues à traverser.

La grande salle dispose d'un plafond de poutres en bois voĂ»tĂ© et une cheminĂ©e Ă  gaz. Deux portes françaises mĂšnent Ă  une grande nouvelle plate-forme Trex avec une table et chaises de patio oĂč vous pourrez profiter de la vue magnifique avec votre cafĂ© du matin.

La salle à manger offre une grande table et des chaises confortables. Il y a une cuisine exceptionnelle avec des armoires sur mesure. appareils électroménagers en acier inoxydable, le vin réfrigérateur, comptoirs en granit et un bar font la préparation des repas une brise. Il est bien approvisionné pour tout chef. La salle de lavage à l'étage offre une machine à laver et sÚche-linge.

Trois suites de maĂźtre (2 king, 1 lit queen) - chacune avec accĂšs aux ponts spacieux ont divers articles de toilette tels qu'un bain Ă  remous et une douche de plain-pied avec pommes de douche double. 4Ăšme chambre dispose de lits jumeaux et sa propre salle de bain et terrasse. Un deuxiĂšme salon peut ĂȘtre utilisĂ© comme un bureau ou cinquiĂšme chambre avec un lit de repos et gigogne.

Des divertissements intérieurs sont fournis par les télévisions dans chaque chambre. Il y a une console Playstation 4 dans le grand salon et une console XBox dans le bureau / la cinquiÚme chambre.

L'Ă©tablissement propose Ă©galement WIFI gratuit, une chaise haute et port-a-crĂšche pour les plus petits.

We had a great stay at As Good as it Gets. All bedrooms were large and had their own bathroom. We had 8 in our party and no one felt cramped. Beach was close enough to walk to. The sunrises and sunsets were easy to see and enjoy. Being just a short distance from Bob Sikes’ Cut allowed for fishing at the jetties. The pool was clean and heated. It was great just to float and soak in the sun. The kitchen was very well equipped. Having a washing machine and dryer allowed us to pack light and return home with clean clothes. We would love to return and stay another week. Everything about the house was wonderful.

Vlad, our host, was extremely welcoming and helpful responding quickly to our questions. The beach house is beautiful and can easily accommodate a large group. I especially loved all the windows overlooking the tree tops. The beds and furniture are comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with a large workspace. We enjoyed the decks and the heated pool even in the cooler temperatures. The beach is just a few steps away. The beach wagon, chairs and umbrellas were a nice addition. We used them daily. Our two week stay was the best! We are already discussing a return to As Good As It Gets next year.

The house was great, close to the beach with ample space! We enjoyed the availability of a heated pool as many rentals on the island do not offer one. March mornings can be cool so the heat is recommended. With the living space on the second floor, there are some stairs but that is pretty customary. Vlad was easy to reach when needed.We were able to use a couple of the bikes for exploring the nearby trails. We also enjoyed shelling up by Sikes cut. The Plantation was a secure, quiet community that made relaxing a breeze. On the beach, we had Dolphin sightings every day with blue herons patiently waiting around the fishermen for the chance at an easy catch. Some jellyfish were present depending on the day, just stroll along the beach to check before going in. The kitchen was well stocked and spices were available at Piggly Wiggly Express for a reasonable price. PWE is the only grocer on the island but they do stock most necessities. The next largest grocer is in Appalachicola. We enjoyed Paddys Raw Bar and the kids liked Aunt Ebby's and Coffee & Cream. Island Espresso also carried a small selection of heat & serve Italian dishes from Mangia, including some gluten free items. Captain's Seafood had good fresh fish and shrimp.If you are driving down, I recommend packing your essentials because it is a rural area with a charming small town feel. (There are no Instacart or Walmart deliveries and Amazon deliveries can be picked up at the post office in Eastpoint.)

Thanksgiving weekend trip

We had a very nice holiday weekend stay. The house was well-equipped, and we especially appreciated the welcome package the host left us. Vlad was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions or problems we had. I would highly recommend it and look forward to being able to stay again.

Very nice house with great layout for 6 adults and 4 children. Short walk to the beach on the nature trail was fine for all (even the 3 year old). Pool area was fantastic.

Family Beach Trip

We had a short walk to the beach and a private pool that was plenty big. The house was stocked with everything we needed to cook at home and we were in a beautiful part of the plantation. The drive in is gorgeous. Everything was freshly cleaned when we arrived and beds were very comfortable. We loved St George and will definitely be back soon!

End of July vacay

Located in the Plantation, a little bit of a drive to get to Apalachicola, but not bad. Easy beach access. House is comfortable, but as others have mentioned it could use some refreshing. Pool was a good size for our group of nine. PM was quick to help with any issues. Very relaxing place to stay and affordable compared to Anna Maria Is!

Fantastic house

Beautiful and well-maintained house, especially spacious living room and kitchen area with large windows and a nice deck. Very easy access to the beach. Nice amenities on plantation (fitness room, tennis and pickleball courts). Owner was super-responsive and made everything a breeze.

We live in Roswell, GA, a suburb of Atlanta. We visit our beach house about 3-4 times a year and regret leaving it each time we have to go back to our busy lives in the big city.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We first discovered the natural beauty and the pristine beaches of St George Island in 2011. We purchased our house in the Spring of 2013 - both of us had immediately agreed that "this one is for us" after only glancing at the pictures.

The Island offers a unique combination of uncrowded beaches, no high rises, great fishing, and an overall Old Florida feel that is becoming harder and harder to find.

We chose the Plantation for the added security of the 24-hour gated access, beautiful native vegetation, and park-like landscape maintenance. The Plantation also has special building restrictions and protective covenants to ensure very low building density. Having underground utility lines is a big plus as well.

Our house is one of the relatively newer ones built in the Plantation (2004), and up to the highest coastal construction standards. It has high grade Andersen windows and doors, a new Trex second level deck, custom kitchen cabinetry, new SS appliances. There is quality trim and finishes throughout.

We love our beach house and try our best to make sure that it is always in an excellent condition.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

A beautiful, secluded white-sand beach for long walks, shelling, or just playing in the sand. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. An unbelievably clear night sky (when was the last time you saw the Milky Way in the city?). A private, heated pool and a hot tub for relaxing after a day at the beach.

The Plantation has a great new clubhouse with a three quarter Olympic size community swimming pool, shaded picnic area, and fitness room. Amenities also include three tennis courts, a privately owned/public use landing strip, and access to excellent fishing at Bob Sike's Cut. The are plenty of paved paths for bicyclists, jogging and walking enthusiasts.

St. George is close to historic Apalachicola, a quaint old town with art galleries, gift stores, restaurants, and the best oysters in the world.
