About Vacasa, FL - Emerald Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Loved being so close to the beach

  • 3 of 5

First off, let me say the inside of the condo doesn't matter much to me since we only sleep there... but if an updated condo is important to you this unit isn't for you. Needs a ton of updates done to it. The bathroom rugs were damp when we arrived and the small window in the bedroom was slightly cracked; but that did give us a nice sound of the waves crashing. I absolutely loved that it's on the 1st floor and you literally walk out the door onto the beach. It's also nice that's it's not on front beach road which cuts down on the traffic when your coming to and from the condo. It's a given that privately owned condos are usually kept up better than condos owned by a company like this one was. Overall it was a good stay for the money.

Good for the price

  • 3 of 5

The room was super convenient since it's ground floor and was an easy walk to the pool or beach. The bed was very comfortable...and the bedroom furniture was nice. The rest of the condo needs serious updating. The patio furniture needs to be replace. I was afraid to sit in the chairs for fear of them collapsing. Also, there seems to be a pest problem. I killed a huge roach in the bedroom closet and had a mouse run across my foot in the kitchen! If it hadn't been our last night there I would have left and stayed someone else! Overall, we did really enjoy our trip.

Owner's Response: The HOA has resprayed for pests, and the broken patio furniture has been removed. We apologize for any disappointments this guest experienced while staying with us.

Excellent location

  • 4 of 5

The condo is in an excellent location. It was literally steps away from a pool and from the sand. Wasn't incredibly crowded even though it was spring break. Quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Cooking essentials were provided, although we didn't do much cooking. Mattress was really firm and maybe a little worn out in the bedroom. Enjoyed the deck and chairs.

Location, convenience, and views!

  • 4 of 5

This condo was clean and had anything that we needed. We didn't do much cooking, but there were essentials to do so had we chosen to. I absolutely loved being able to see the ocean from the windows and the deck. Only steps away from a pool and the white sandy beach, the location was phenomenal. The resort's swings on the beach were a wonderful touch. Quiet complex and quiet beach. Even during Spring Break, the beach was not packed and was a calm atmosphere. The only negative I can say about the condo was the bed was much more firm that we like. That is a matter of preference though. We had all check in information in advance, it was all accurate, and simple. Oh, one other thing, the DVD player did not have a working remote that we could locate. Made it a little bit of a pain to watch a movie.
