Seaside trip

Check in was quick and easy, we were able to use the pool and property until our room was ready, 2 small pools on the property so we always had one to ourselves which was great

Getaway in Seaside

Our room was spacious and clean.…the property was perfectly located a short walk from both the bay and the boardwalk. Perfect for our little weekend trip to the Jersey shore! Jason at the front desk was extremely friendly and provided excellent customer service. I will absolutely be returning to the lazy river on my next trip to Seaside Heights!

Lovely stay at Lazy River

We had a great time during our first visit down the shore and Lazy River was the perfect place for our family. It’s clean, comfortable and centrally located right over the bridge and within walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. Thank you Andrea for being so awesome making sure we got settled in OK and for being friendly and helpful. We hope to come back next year!

Weekend getaway

Very cute, much nicer than any hotel/motel in seaside. I think it’s safe to say most seaside rentals will have some wear and tear from the ocean so that is to be expected but we enjoyed our stay. The pool is tiny but in great shape and I found it hard to find a rental with a pool in seaside. You’re not the closest to the boardwalk, about 4 blocks but it all depends what you are looking for.

First time staying there. Found the outside set up very nice. Had all you needed. Our inside 2 bedroom suite was very nice. Clean, bright and done nicely. The employees all friendly. Would recommend to a friend. Would come back next summer. Thank you.

Wonderful week!

Nice place…very clean…pet friendly…within walking distance to everywhere we went. I would definitely stay again. The only thing I didn’t like was check in time was so late 4pm and traveling with a pet you cant get there earlier and just hit the beach. So we had to leave later from home which meant sit in more traffic than usual. But overall we had a good week!! Thanks

This is definitely not a five-star property. There was trash on the ground. We let the rental place know the whole place smoked like cigarettes. Internet service was terrible. Absolutely no streaming. We ordered the linen service. We got one set of sheets for the entire week discussing there were no face clots. There were no kitchen towels. There was no way to plug the bathtub so my granddaughter could take a bath. The air conditioning was mediocre at best. The air conditioner in the living room leak so bad. There was a huge puddle outside of our door the entire time. The staff was very friendly but the unit itself was old, not updated. Dusty, there was not enough utensils. There was no place to dry dishes. If you wash them by hand. The refrigerator was old

Thank you for your comments but this was a problematic guest that brought an unauthorized pet in the premises and is obviously upset . We are premier Host with 98% of all guests providing a 5 star review . This is a newly updated suite with high speed FIOS Internet and air conditioners in every room. This is clearly retaliatory review .

Mixed Experience – Great Staff, but Cleanliness Was a Major Issue

I recently stayed at this property and had a very mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is great and the staff were incredibly accommodating and responsive. For example, when we found our toaster wasn't working, they replaced it within a couple of hours. When someone parked in our designated spot, they dealt with it quickly. We also received the wrong size linens initially, and again, the staff resolved it without fuss.However, the biggest issue—and unfortunately a dealbreaker for me—was the cleanliness and general condition of the accommodation. When we arrived, it was clear that the space had not been properly cleaned. It seemed like only a very basic job had been done, and we ended up spending over an hour and a half cleaning before we felt comfortable putting our things away.There were also several maintenance issues: some electrical outlets were hanging out of the wall, the kitchen floor was heavily marked, and the bathroom needed a deep clean. The dishwasher was dirty when we arrived, and the kitchen was poorly stocked—only one fork in a suite meant for four people.I did raise these concerns at checkout and was told I should have mentioned them earlier. While I understand that, my view is that accommodation should be clean and ready upon arrival—guests shouldn't have to request a basic standard of hygiene.Overall, while I appreciated the responsive staff, the state of the accommodation was disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again

Thank you Alyssa for your comments as all Comments are taking very seriously . Lazy River Rentals is Premier Host on VRBO receiving over 98% 5 star ratings . Rarely there ever a cleaning issue as units spare professionally cleaned and we use an I dependent service to inspect and document all properties PRIOR to occupancy . At not time was a cleaning issue brought to our are attention. Had an issue been brought to our attention within 48 hours of arrival, we offer and perform a full re clean on the suite. We are reporting this request as a retaliatory review as the sister of the guest requested a $300 refund to avoid placing a negative review . This is in violation of the VRBO guidelines and a refund was refused and reported to VRBO preventing that guest from placing a review . We appreciate the acknowledgement of the quick service and response of our tremendous team but at no time was any cleaning issues brought our attention during Alyssa stay

Disappointed Room Condition

The location was great. The property itself, pool, and recreation were clean and nice. The condo was not clean. We were extremely disappointed. First of all, it is NOT a fully equipped kitchen, no frying pans, baking sheets, and pots and pans were lacking. That was okay until we realized we were infested with fruit flies! We had to go out and get traps. We looked in the cabinets to see where they were coming from and looked up in the cabinets above the stove and there was leftover food and crumbs. The unit was not cleaned. Lastly, my poor 85-year-old mother was sitting at the round table that did not fit in the kitchen, to begin with, and the fire extinguisher literally fell off the wall and missed her by inches. They put the fire extinguisher up with hardware that couldn't even hold the weight. I would not recommend. The property manager was great and the staff was very friendly, but the condition of the room was less to be desired.

Thank you for your feedback. All of our properties are professionally cleaning and inspected. We ask out guests to provide us any feed back their first 24 hours so we can attend to any punch list items. Our office is right next to this Suite and the guest never advise as to any issues. We would have immediately attended to any issues if provided notice.

Clean unit

The unit is 2 block from seaside park beach and 5 minutes by car to the boardwalk. We didn’t want to be near noisy hotels and motels and this location is perfect.
