The Cottage is conveniently located directly across from the Sodus Point Lighthouse Museum and park, which leads directly to the sandy beaches on the lake and the bay. The location caters to vacationers that want to be close to downtown and the exciting night life (restaurants, marinas and shopping), yet also desire a private setting for family fun and relaxation. The beautiful view from the cottage includes a panoramic view of Ontario lake and Sodus bay, the sandy beach, pier, and the amazing sunrise and sunsets off the water .
The cottage sleeps 8 guests comfortably. There are two newly renovated full bathrooms, and two bedrooms--one with a queen size bed with a private bathroom, and one with a double and a single bed. One of the great rooms has a queen size pull out bed and there is also a roll-away bed and portable crib available. The eat-in kitchen is large and has all updated appliances. There is a laundry room with a free washer and dryer. There is FREE WIFI, basic cable, and the cottage is air conditioned.

Relax and enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon drinks on either the back or front patios. The sliding glass door off the great room opens onto a beautiful, private back patio with furniture, a grill, a large shaded back yard with a fire pit and picnic table.The front patio also has tables with umbrellas and seating arrangements.

Whether you are a beach bum, fisherman, golfer, wine enthusiast, shopper, or looking for an exciting night life, Sodus Point and Bay will have it all! Visit and hike the fascinating well-known Chimney Bluffs that can be seen from the cottage, and are only a short, scenic car ride away. Book a charter from one of the many Fishing Charter boats and enjoy a day of fishing for salmon, browns, or steelheads. The marinas are plentiful and can help you with renting a motor or sail boat or with docking. The Sodus Bay Golf Course is truly spectacular with its views of the bay below. For those shoppers, you will find antique and specialty shops nearby.

The many restaurants will supply you with not only great food, but an unequaled night life with bands that will play your favorite dance music on the outdoor decks! Tour the wineries on the Lake Ontario Wine Trail, or head to the Finger Lakes Wine Region and enjoy some of New York's famous wines. Directly across the street is the Lighthouse Museum that you can stroll through and take a tour of the historical building and learn about the history of Sodus Point and Bay. The Lighthouse also sponsors free concerts in the park every Sunday afternoon!

Things To Do and Visit in the area also include the many casinos nearby, along with horse tracks and a speedway. There are many golf courses to try and even mini-golf for the little ones! Other outdoor activities include hiking, swimming, boating, tubing and jet skiing, or just relaxing on the beautiful sandy beach, a short one minute walk from your doorstep.

Take a day trip to the beautiful Letchworth State Park, Niagara Falls or to Ithaca to view the waterfalls and the gorges. Other great day trips include the Seabreeze water and amusement park and even the Six Flags theme park at Darien Lake! Also in the area are the Strong Museum/Children's Museum of Play, and the Women's Rights Museum. A must stop would also be the Heluva Good Cheese Store!
