Guestbook comments from the owner

I hosted my 3 sisters at the Knotty Bear cabin for a "Sisters Retreat."

What a beautiful setting for us. The cabin had every amenity we could ever need.

We relaxed, laughed, ate and talked for four days.

Our favorite spot in the evening was sitting out on the deck, watching the sunset and the spectacular, panoramic vew. It was breathtaking to see clear down through the canyon.

Thanks for the wonderful experience. We all voted to make this a tradition and come every year!

The property had awesome views !!

  • 4 of 5

It is a beautiful cabin ,loved the view ,enjoyed the hot tub. The cabin was clean and roomy . We were not happy with the fact that we had to make all those queen bunk beds .There were no towels in the upstairs bath room or in the 1/2 bath on the main floor .I was told that there was a full propane tank in the garage we could use if we ran out, there was not any tank in the garage .The biggest disappointment was NO COFFEE POT !!! I think they need to stock this cabin better . Other than that we enjoyed our stay . :)

Fantastic!

Beautiful, spacious and comfortable. We rented this cabin for a family ski weekend. It is close to the resort, but 4-wheel drive is needed to get there. The cabin is amazing and we had everything we needed.

Wonderful Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family rented this cabin for Thanksgiving and it couldn't have been better!! The house was gorgeous!! Plenty of space for our entire family to enjoy each other, but also have our own individual spaces. The layout of the house was perfect, one family in the loft bedroom/bath, one family in the basement bedrooms/bath and grandma and grandpa got the main level master bedroom/bath. The kids loved the loft area for watching movies and playing with their toys. The girls LOVED the kitchen for preparing our Thanksgiving Feast!! (You need a new can opener, that was our only struggle). All the bedrooms were large and clean, bathrooms spacious and clean. The house as a whole was perfect!! The views from the wrap around decks were amazing. It was a little tough to find in the blizzard that we arrived in and the new foot of powder that fell the night before we left made getting out a little challenging, but fun and so pretty!! The kids loved making snow angels and playing in the hot tub!! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone considering a stay on Beaver Mtn. We will be back, not sure when yet, but will rent this cabin again!! Brad was great to work with and answered all of our questions before we arrived! Great job!!!

Best ever

  • 5 of 5

This is the most beautiful and comfortable place I have ever stayed -hands down! The decorations and furniture are so tastefully done. From the views to the amazing master shower, my young family enjoyed every aspect of the knotty bear cabin. (That is, once my 3 year old realized the bear was not alive ;) I would recommend this place to anyone!!
