Casa Milagro is a gorgeous villa designed from the influences of modern, Mexican architecture. The three bedroom plus maid's quarters, three and a half bathroom villa is a mix of contrasts. Sophisticated yet simple, contemporary but with a tropical touch.
This 2400-square foot home is located on a quite, peaceful street within PLAYACAR. About Cynthia Julian
Another day in paradise. My beach just minutes from the villa.
Cynthia Julian purchased this Villa in 2002
Why Cynthia Julian chose Playa del Carmen
I built my first home in Playacar in 1982, when Playa del Carmen was still just a sleepy little fishing village. Throughout the years I have always enjoyed returning to Playa!

Casa Milagro experience far exceeded expectations!
Cynthia, Paty and Casa Milagro itself greatly exceeded our expectations for our week long stay celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary with our adult sons and their friends. Cynthia is such a great owner and made all of the advance preparations so easy for us. While there, Paty is simply the best. We couldn't have asked for a more friendly and welcoming hostess. She made our entire stay stress free and so enjoyable. The experience with Chef Anwur is a must!
Whenever we return and I hope it is soon, we will definitely choose to stay at Casa Milagro again.
Cynthia and Paty: THANK YOU!! You guys are the best.

The Perfect Getaway!
I recently traveled to the jewel of a place over Christmas holiday 2017 with my family. We were a party of 8. We often travel as a family together and this place fit all of the bells and whistles lending itself to lots to do or nothing to do whichever you choose to do. The condo was centrally located with just a short walk to the beach as well as town. The home provided all of the comfort of being home and more. To have someone stock the refrig upon arrival with your choice of groceries was an added bonus and a pleasant surprise. From the moment you walked in the door, we all felt like a great vacation was about to begin. My middle son proposed to his girl friend and the setting was beautiful. I am all sure we will all remember the love and joy felt that evening. The grounds and the house provided so much beauty as well as great outdoor space. Having a chef was a bonus and the menu had a variety to choose from. What we loved the most was all being together and this became a great home away from home. I loved every aspect of the home and I truly loved the outdoor space on all of the decks as well as the terrace. I don't think that there was anything that I could think of that was not provided. It is our hopes to return again to enjoy all that a true vacation brings which is relaxation and fun. We highly think that this home should be one that is on the top of the list of vacations to take. The owner provided so many helpful suggestions for all. We have been to Mexico several times but this place will remain truly one of our favorites.
Newly Engaged At Casa Milagro (Ross Jefferson & Julianne Maroun)
Words can't explain the memories that were created at Casa Milagro. The house was beautiful and we fell in love with the modern but decorative style on the inside and outside of the house. There were 8 of us total staying in the house and we all not only felt comfortable but we stayed in many nights and had some of the best times on the property. This house will always hold a special place in my heart. As I have been told my engagement to Julianne (my fiancé ) was the first engagement at the house. We wanted this special memory to take place outside of the house. I was surrounded by my loved ones, we set up candles all along the pool and music playing. She was suprised but because the atmosphere we were all in was so perfect and beautiful all of my family got emotional. That week spent at Casa Milagro was the best week I ever had!!! To those who are looking to go on vacation I highly recommend saying no to all inclusive resorts and book a week or two at this amazing property. Like I said before words cannot describe my experience at that house, good thing my brother is a photographer and is almost done with a video of all the great memories that were captured through the video camera lens!! I absolutely cannot wait to go plan our second visit st Casa Milagro.
Dear Ross + Julianne,
Aaaww! First of all, congratulations! I have heard of some conceptions (imagine!) and the spreading of a couple of loved one's ashes but this is a 'marriage proposal' first at Casa Milagro!
Thank you so much for your kind and very heartfelt review. The thing I like best about the review - were the lovely emotions you shared in your letter about your visit. So much passion and happiness!
Your family was a joy to host in the villa and I enjoyed our frequent 'just checking-in' phone calls. So very happy you had an amazing time in my villa and you cannot wait to plan a return visit!
To insure your future visit, I would like to offer you a 7-night stay at Casa Milagro as my guests. Consider this as a wedding gift to the happy couple, maybe for your honeymoon?
I recently spent a week at this beautiful home over the Thanksgiving vacation with my wife, daughter, and her fiancé. I have been renting homes for a number of years, and I have to admit, this is the most impeccably clean and amazingly furnished home that I have had the pleasure of renting. I love to cook and this house still had more pots, pans, glasses, dishes, and utensils than I have at my own home. You could probably have a party for twenty without running out of dishware. Karina the housekeeper does a great job cleaning and straightening up. Paty was always available and helpful for any need. The chefs cooked a great meal and gave me some pointers on Mexican food preparation. The beach is only a few minutes away, and the house is equipped with more beach towels than you can carry, boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrella, coolers, and various toys for the beach. One thing I liked about this house was the amount of lighting, its prodigious. I have been in some homes that were very dimly lit. The different living spaces allow for plenty of privacy if you are traveling with another couple or two. My daughter spent plenty of time on the rooftop lounge. The beach is as nice as the beaches I have stayed on in Aruba. The closest person to me on the beach was usually 20-50 feet, not crowded at all, quiet, and no vendors. Water was never that rough, mostly fun. Walk into beginning of town about 10 minutes, but a little longer to where the action is. Taxis always passing by at the end of the block, even at 6:30 in the morning. All in all, I can’t honestly think of anything else I would have wanted in this house. The owner is a pleasure to talk to and will answer any questions you may have. I would definitely return if my vacation took me back to Playa.
I was very impressed with Casa Milagro. The house had everything you could need or want! It even had bandaids (which I forgot), which was very helpful for my little ones. Everything went very smoothly, from the pick up at the airport, to the chef's meal waiting for us upon arrival. Paty, was very helpful, and was always available for any questions we had whether it was about the house, or where to find the best local pottery. The beach is a short walk away, as well as the town, and very manageable, even with young kids. I'd have to say my favorite spot, besides the beach, was relaxing underneath the palapa, reading a book, while the kids swam. My only concern with the house was with young children, you have to be cautious of the railing upstairs, since it is not made to keep the little ones from falling. This was easily solved for us by keeping our little ones in the first floor bedroom. If you have any hesitations about renting this house, don't! I have stayed at many VRBOs and I would have to say that this was one of the best!
Casa Milagro is outstanding - a slice of paradise!
Casa Milagro is even better than the photos & write up - exceeded ALL of our expectations. We went with 2 other couples, to celebrate my 50th birthday. The home has 3 gorgeous bedrooms with ensuites, and the bedrooms are completely separate from one another. Fully stocked kitchen. A nice walk (15-20 minutes) to the grocery store and a quick & inexpensive cab ride home to stock up on groceries and wine & Tequila. A beautiful pool, and a spectacular beach is less than 5 minutes away, along a trail past Mayan ruins. The beach was never crowded, and always immaculate. Easy to spend a couple of hours on the beach, then home for food and drinks, and laze by the pool, in the back yard (complete with BBQ) or the amazing rooftop deck. The manager arranged transportation to & from the airport for us, and pre-stocked the kitchen with our choice of groceries - and cold beer.
I really can't say enough about this home. It is immaculate; the housekeeper was a delight. Dealing with the owner in advance was a breeze. You will love it - you honestly cannot do any better in Playa del Carm!!
The villa is close to everything! Within walking distance are an eighteen-hole championship golf course, an exotic aviary and Playa del Carmen's famed Fifth Avenue, This pedestrian street is lined with many unique shops, 'al fresco' restaurants and international discos, all of which come alive at night with strolling musicians and visitors from all over the world, World Class Scuba Diving, Jet-Skiing and great Mayan Ruins
