Great location. Can walk anywhere in lava in just a few minutes. Room itself was definitely more hotel room than home. A/C unit is a little small for the room. Does not get the room very cold. Beds are on the soft side. Comfy just too soft for me. Great room overall just a few things if you stay in the room for long periods.

Nice setup not far from the hot pools. Would recommend staying here but with 2 people maybe 3-4.

Great Stay....Hot Room

We really enjoyed our stay but felt that the listing wasn't completely forward about the room. The directions weren't correct and the room was too hot because it was on the ground floor and thermally heated, which was not in the listing. They said there was AC in the window, but there is no window and we had to open the door to get any cool air. We'll probably choose another room next time.

It’s was a great place to stay. The beds were amazing it has a huge shower. The outdoor sitting space was a great people watching place. we are a family of four it suited us great. You could walk to anything in-town within minutes. Only downside was it has a small AC unit.

Lazy in Lava

We enjoyed the unit, location and response by staff. Would suggest a table lamp by the beds for reading. The bar on top played good music but it was not ever a problem for us at night!

Perfect location

The room was exactly as described in a great location. Walking distance to the hotsprings and all shopping. Bar was above us and it was not loud at all! The room smelled a bit musty and the cleaning people hadn’t cleaned the coffee pot (grounds were in the basket) but the beds were clean and the bathroom was immaculately clean.

Avoid this property at all costs!

There are no A/C units. The owner said he had just taken them off for the winter. There weren’t even windows big enough for a window unit. (Lie #1). The rooftop bar has been red tagged by the city but the owner still has signs up that it’s open to public. We had to call the police at 2AM - due to the public being on our roof until 3:30AM drinking and screaming and throwing patio furniture. Owner was called and said he didn’t see an issue and would check the security cameras. (Lie #2). After finally speaking with the owner - who claimed to not actually be the owner (lie #3) we told him we checked out a day early due to everything that happened. We requested to be reimbursed just for that night we didn’t stay (still paying for the horrible night we spent there) - Cody (the owner) said no and that it wasn’t his problem. And that he would come install a wall AC unit if that would fix the problem. Horrible property - terrible service - the people who hang out at this property are obnoxious and disruptive. Avoid staying here at all costs. This property should be condemned. Cody - should not be able to rent properties on this site. His is dishonest and impossible to deal with.

Loved the place

Great funky place to stay. Good location for sightseeing around area. Walk to hot springs was a plus!! Beautiful views sitting on our patio. We visited "off season" so town was kind of quiet, but it was fine with us. Two things I would change/add if I were owners, The hot plate did not work, when replacing get a bigger one. That single burner is not much good for 2 people. Also add a bigger fry pan, it was so small if I could have used the hot plate it wouldn't have been big enough for 2 eggs!! Also put a lamp on dresser by bed, it was so dark at night had to use a flashlight to read by. One more thing its ok no sink in bathroom but a small table in there would be nice to put Ur toiletries on instead of on kitchen counter. Just some suggestions. All in all, would tell people to stay there, I bet it's really fun in summer when roof topbar is open. Thanks!

Fun Place to Stay

We visit Lave every year and stay at a new location each year. This was definitely one of our favorites. Close to everything, including the river where our kids spent most of the day. The room was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. I loved the concrete floors with no-slip texture since everyone played in the water every day. Only suggestion, bring your own pillows. The pillows were not firm enough for us. An upgrade on pillows is needed.

AMAZING!

I have stayed several places in Lava and this is by far my favorite! Kids loved the bunkbeds and games. The beds and pillows were very comfy and I enjoyed the modern decor. Very clean and had all the stuff we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend. We will definately be back!

It was nice but...

It was a nice big room and the owner is very friendly. They expect you to wash the dishes before you leave,but they did not provide the sponge to do so. I had to go purchase sponges. For the price I paid for the room (too much) I would expect them to provide the sponges.

Great location

This place was great. The location was perfect. You can just setup shop here and not have to drive anywhere. Anything worth while doing is a 5 minute walk away. There is a rooftop bar here that looks nice, but no need to worry because this unit is sound proof and you cannot here nothing. I would highly recommend this place.

Love this place!!

I love staying here. It is a short walk to the hot springs. Very nice rooms I have stayed in 2 different ones. I will definitely be back and next time maybe with my kids.

Fun and friendly place we will have to hit the fire and ice run next time second year was better than the first looking forward to third trip close to the springs and pubs also look a bit further . lots to do and not enough time.

Great w/ a slight disappointment

The place was so nice and convenient with everything close by. Would have been nice if it had Wifi and a parking spot. I was promised a parking spot but there was no strictness of one car per resident on the reserved parking. Very frustrating. Other than that it was ok.

We had a weekend getaway and stayed here. I loved the room. The beds were comfortable, it was spotless. The decorations are beautiful and simple. It is quiet, and the atmosphere was very calming. It was perfect!

Perfectly located, wonderful floor plan, very very nice

Almost in the center of town but just off Main Street. So close to everything, we just walked wherever we needed to go. We weren’t bothered with neighbor noise despite other suites located on the property. Parking was a little tricky though, so arrive close to check in time. Spacious but still cozy. Loved it, and will be returning next year.
