I took my oldest two sons, their wives and 6 of my grandchildren to Alaska for 8 days.We stayed at this property the entire time and during the week we were able to enjoy a whale watching/wildlife tour, hiking in two national parks, experience dogsledding tour, hike to glacier lake and kayak for a couple of hours, catch 145 fish in 3 hours (keeping 123 cod "120.5 lbs), horseback riding in the mountain foothills and shopping on Homer's Spit. The rest of our time was spent lounging around the cabin and soaking in moments of paradise. The cabin is everything it is made out to be and far more. With 11 of us, we were never crowded, plenty of personal space, room for 2 cooks at all times and table large enough we could all sit together. Everything is beautiful, well built and made with comfort in mind.Whether sitting on the deck and watching the mother moose and her calve, watching the sunset at 11:30 in the evening or putting puzzles together, it was the best bonding time ever. The host was in Europe on vacation during our stay, but he stayed in touch to make sure everything was going smoothly. That impressed me.
