Great communication, easy check in, enjoyed sitting in the sunroom watching the rain fall! It was a peaceful neighborhood and a respite to our vacation activities.
Lovely place - was beautiful and comfortable and became our home away from home. Bed was very comfy and the space was bright and roomy and close to downtown Santa Fe. Owner and her daughter were sweet and responsive.
We had a very pleasant stay. The hacienda was so cozy, and charming. Every detail was thought out, and we couldnt have asked for anything more. We loved the privacy of the property and the location close to town.

It was lovely having you stay at Cuarto de Mendoza. We hope you keep us in mind whenever you need temporary housing again. It is indeed a comfortable studio and we are happy you enjoyed your stay.
My wife and I were touring New Mexico for a week and this is by far the best place we stayed in. The casita was extremely homey, and very comfortable. The bed was HUGE and was honestly a dream to sleep in. We really enjoyed the full kitchen as well. Loved waking up to the sound of jays and other birds flying around the trees outside. It was also very convenient to everything we did in Santa Fe and a great coffee place (Java Joes) is like 5 minutes away. 10/10 experience and would stay again in a heartbeat!
The studio was 10 minutes or less from downtown Santa Fe, plus it was easy to get on the highway and make day trips around northern New Mexico. Everything was clean and comfortable. The bed was great (and I’m a harsh critic as a light sleeper and someone with back problems). Wanette and Flora made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks to both for a fantastic visit to Santa Fe!

Thank you Erin! It was a pleasure having you stay at Cuarto de Mendoza and knowing you had such a comfortable stay is the icing on the cake. Come back soon!
Really enjoyed the studio and the property. Having meals on the patio was a treat. There is a sky light right above the bed. And that bed is very comfortable. The property manager, Wanette, was responsive to our questions. We arrived really late and she had turned the a/c and an interior light on. Very kind and thoughtful act. The only quibble we had was the quantity of dust on the shelf in the sun room. Highly recommend this property.
We enjoyed the traditional architecture with modern amenities. Off the beaten path but still an easy drive into the heart of Santa Fe. Lots more space than you would expect from a "studio" and especially enjoyed evenings in the sun room. There is a large skylight over the comfortable bed so expect lots of light early morning (or during a wild night storm with lots of lightning!) Communication with host is great both before and during visit. A few extra steps for booking, including contract and additional fee for damage insurance.
It was a very bright and quiet studio. Beautiful views from the back study. Very comfortable bed, and very conveniently located to the city. Highly recommend it to anyone

Beautiful, large studio! Thanks Wannette and Flora for the birthday cake and card!
Large clean studio with outdoor patio. It’s larger than the pictures might show. The owners were responsive, helpful and kind.

The studio was very clean and perfect for our weekend away. It was close to town. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay in this studio. It is actually larger than the photos. The kitchen allowed us to cook a few meals, saving money. Its location is an easy drive to everywhere you want to go in Santa Fe. We will definitely return.

Catherine, thank you for the review! We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again soon!
Both my husband and I were born and raised here in New Mexico. We are in our mid 80's with 2 married children. We have 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. We love to travel and have been blessed to see many beautiful parts of the world. There is still no place lovelier than Santa Fe and we hope to share our love of Santa Fe and its surrounding area with our guests.
Why they chose this property
Growing up in northern New Mexico we are accustomed to haciendas (several dwellings under one roof) where families lived near each other. The hacienda is set up with four separate units under one roof. This is the smaller studio apartment unit.
What makes this property unique
The views from the property of all the surrounding mountains are superb! Spectacular sunrises over the Sangre de Cristo mountains to colorful sunsets over the Jemez Mountains. Just outside the city limits but close enough to drive to either the Santa Fe Plaza, Santa Fe Opera, Santa Fe Ski area and easy access to Albuquerque.
