Beautiful Guest Home On 5 Acres. Close to Everglades, Biscayne Bay, Fl Keys

(Taking reservations for Dec, Jan. and April) This Redland 1,200 sq. ft. concrete block guest house sits on 5 acres of tropical fruit trees including avocado, mango, ciruela, carambola, guanabana, lychee, jackfruit, allspice and others. It is located in a very desirable area of the Redland, just a few miles north of downtown Homestead and just 20 minutes from Everglades National Park or Biscayne National Park and two marinas where you can launch your boat. Key Largo is 40 min. south. The Redland Fruit and Spice Park is 1/4 mile away. The house is totally furnished with the highest quality of materials including: pillow-top mattresses, down pillows, down comforters, solid wood furniture and beds, mahogany nightstands and dresser, granite top nightstands and dresser, designer mirrors, granite kitchen full stocked, brand new solid wood kitchen cabinets, all-stainless dishwasher, garbage disposal, wine cooler, washer/dryer, 5 new ceiling fans, eleven chairs with leather seats, large pantry, Italian leather (Natuzzi) sofa and love seat, the highest-quality on the market plantation Polywood shutters throughout the home, hurricane accordion shutters on all exterior windows, large closets, several lamps with electrical outlets in their bases for easily charging devices and much more. There is a master bedroom (sleeps 2) with a king bed and another bedroom (sleeps 4) with a full-size bed and two twin beds. There are LED 1080p high-definition 32" SMART TVs in both bedrooms, as well as a 50" LED 4K SMART TV in the living room, all TVs have free NETFLIX and free Amazon Prime movies and different movies can be streamed, simultaneously on all three TVs. A 7th person could sleep on the sofa or could request the use of an air mattress. Extra bedding would be provided. The master bathroom has a tub/shower. The hall bathroom has a shower. Both showers have frameless glass sliding doors. There are two ADA grab bars in each showering unit. Both bathrooms have quartz countertops and solid wood cabinets. There are stainless ADA hand railings to both sets of steps. There is an electronic gated entry and new concrete driveway leading to both the front door and back door of this guest house. The back patio area is very large and will accommodate multiple vehicles, a boat, an RV, a box truck, etc... Water is provided via separate well to the guest house and is run through a water softener. A water cooler and 5 gallons of drinking water provided (this water is not softened and is filtered/purified). There is a $50 cleaning fee and required taxes will be charged according to State of Florida and Miami-Dade County law. The home has a 3 ton central air-conditioning. Tropical fruit from the property is provided for guests when in season, depending on the fruit. Most fruits are in season from May through September, tapering off after September although some are still available nearly year-round ( carambola and avocados). There is high-speed cable internet, which is hard-wired directly to the house. This then connects to a router so there is uninterrupted and very fast Wi-Fi (100+Mbps) throughout the home. You just need to type the password into your device, which is located on the router and provided in the arrival instructions. A second set of linens and towels are provided upon request for stays of more than 5 nights . There is no maid service. There is a large sink with hot/cold water on the patio out back with a separate set of hot/cold valves for washing and rinsing dive gear, snorkel gear, vehicles, boats, fishing equipment, etc. You may also clean your fish. A campfire pit with cooking grate is available and firewood may also be available, depending on the time of year. Absolutely no pets and not negotiable. We want to be able to cater to guests with allergies to pets. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US ASKING TO RENT THE PROPERTY TO HOLD LARGE GATHERINGS, WEDDINGS, RECEPTIONS, CEREMONIES, PARTIES, ETC... THAT INCLUDE MORE THAN 7 PEOPLE ON THE PROPERTY. This is a vacation rental home in a very serene, quiet and peaceful property and we wish to keep it that way for our guests who come (most from far away) to enjoy their time 'away from it all'. We believe that the house is complete and has everything you could possible want or need. If it doesn't, we'll do our best to get it for you during your stay. This place truly is spectacular and we are confident that you will be glad that you chose to stay here.

Miami-Dade noise ordinance is in effect. There should be no noise that can be heard 100 feet away between the hours of 11 pm and 7 am.

No visitors (the only guests allowed = the number in the booking). No animals at all - we are 'health exempt' from even accepting service animals.

Wayne went above and beyond , his property was beautiful enough room to park a 8x14 trailer on and still have room for your truck or car, close to markets and food. I will definitely be staying back at waynes if the property is available this place was amazing.

This is the cleanest property I have stayed at and we probably stay places at least twice a year. Host is amazing, property has a lovely back patio which we made use of very often. Kitchen was equipped with just about any thing you would need for cooking. Location is not too bad a trip from Miami or the Keys. Felt like home!

Wayne’s home was the perfect location for easy access to the Everglades, Biscayne Bay, and Miami airport. This was probably the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in, and the listing accurately reflected the home. Our only regret was that we didn’t visit when there was fresh fruit to harvest from the grounds! We would certainly recommend the location to others.

This was a perfect spot to explore south Florida. It was easy to get to the Everglades or the Keys or South Miami. The house was clean, comfortable, quiet and very well equipped. We ate outside almost every meal as it was very pleasant to sit outside next to the tropical fruit trees. Wayne was a wonderful host! Highly recommended.

Perfect in Every Way

This adorable guest house was perfect for our family of four. Close to the national parks, easy to find, clean, cosy, and VERY comfortable! The hosts have thought of everything to make each stay as perfect as possible! HIGHLY recommend!

What a lovely home! It was in a peaceful, secluded, beautiful location. I loved sitting on the patio under the huge sunshade drinking my morning coffee. There were tons of cool birds (Palm Warblers, Mockingbirds, Doves, hawks, and more). The fruit grove was really interesting for us city dwellers! Everything about the house was excellent: the comfy beds, the washer-dryer, the fruit left for us on the counter-top, the wifi, the bookshelves full of nature, local attractions, and environmental books. The kitchen was so well stocked. Wayne responded immediately to our questions.We did not realize that Homestead was an agricultural center. The fruit, orchid, banana, and houseplant nurseries were plentiful, and so friendly and accommodating. We stopped by several of them and they'd put us on a golf cart and give us free tours, answering all of our questions!Also, it is very convenient to go to the Everglades. We went down to Florida Bay and had a really fun and informative nature boat tour where we saw 4 crocodiles, 4 manatees, tricolored herons, pelicans, lots of Osprey, and much more! April is a great time to visit; not crazy hot, very few bugs (except on one hike in the Everglades).When we left we messaged Wayne and he immediately checked to make sure we didn't forget anything, and called to let us know I had left my phone charger. We had only gotten about 4 blocks away! So nice! We loved this VRBO!

Great location for a stay near the Everglades

We went to both the Everglades and Biscayne National Parks. It was a great location for either of these parks. The property was secure and perfect for our group of 4 adults. The full kitchen was nice to have so that we could make our own breakfast each day.

We travel often; this was definitely among the best places we've rented. Very clean, comfortable, and private. Wayne was very responsive and helpful. We definitely hope to stay here again if/when we return to the area.

Wonderful Easter Stay

We stayed here for Easter weekend. We felt very much at home and were able to enjoy a wonderful family dinner. You have everything you need here. It is comfortable and very clean. It is in a good location for visiting the Keys. I wish we could have stayed longer.

House convenient to two national parks

The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed for our stay. It was in between the Everglades and Biscayne National Parks, which were our destinations during our stay. The property is lovely and while we were there the star fruit and loquats were ripe. We also lucked out to get a beautiful Florida avocado - it was delicious! The house was very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable as well. We would highly recommend staying here.

Very secluded and private in the heart of the very desirable 'Redland' area of southwest Miami-Dade County, just minutes from Biscayne Bay, the Everglades, the FL Keys, factory outlets, and surrounded by south Florida tropical agriculture (fruits, vegetables, ornamental nurseries, tropical fish farms, etc.). This place is very private and you will feel like you are in the country.

Very large patio area for parking boats, multiple vehicles, RVs, etc. You can have a campfire, barbeque, clean your fish, wash your vehicles/boats, etc. on over 3,500 square feet of brand new concrete patio. The house sits on 5 acres of tropical fruit trees and has an electric gated entry way.
