Summary: Remember the holidays you went on as a child? You can absolutely re-live that in this simple cottage, without spending a fortune to do so.
The Space: As soon as you step inside this property it takes you back to a time when life was just easy. Recently it has just had a split system A/C installed in the living area. As you move through the house to the bedrooms you will pass a separate toilet and family bathroom. The laundry door opens onto a lovely little deck that overlooks the natural bush block. Although the property is pet friendly, the yard does not have secure fencing, however the deck area is secure enough to keep a small dog contained. You literally are a hop, skip, and a jump away from the main street, the only decision you have to make is which way to walk in to town, either way it only takes five minutes. Located near near Coogoorah Park there are plenty of things to keep you busy with free undercover barbeques, the pirate ship play ground (which will make even the oldest of children want to walk the plank) and several great fishing spots along the Anglesea river. Everything is literally just around the corner in this centrally located holiday home. Please note: This property is a basic older style fibro home that is very simply furnished. Please note that this property does not have a barbeque.
****PLEASE NOTE: DOONAS, UNDERLAYS AND PILLOWS ARE PROVIDED, LINEN AND TOWELS ARE NOT SUPPLIED.****

Hi Kate,
Thank you for review, and I am glad you enjoyed your stay....... and how great is that property! This is fast becoming one of our most popular rentals because of the great space that it is and so close to everything. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Wonderful deck on the back to enjoy nature with so many trees. Easy walk to shops and beach if you like a walk. Sadly the beach shack on a bush block is an endangered species. Enjoy!
The house was explained as basic and was. Lounge and dining seating a little uncomfortable. Lots of cobwebs and spiders in bedrooms. Shower was fantastic. Heating in communal area was great. Maybe mattresses need updating. We enjoyed our stay in this area.

Surf Coast Holidays
We stayed here for a week during summer holidays. We had teens and a toddler. The house was clean, lots of room to sit and in a good location close to park, river, and shops. The house is very basic and it was hot on the warm days and cold on the cold days. We used fans to help keep cool and rugged up on the colder days. The double bed wasn’t very comfortable and made squeaky noises whenever the other person moved. We wouldn’t have been able to endure the bed for much longer than a week. If your looking for a cheap place to sleep but aren’t going to be home much then I recommend this house. It’s a good base but not somewhere I would choose if I was going to be sitting around all day.
