Corner beachfront condo in convenient location

Clearwater 6D, located at 517 East Beach Boulevard, is a serene beach front condo that has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, hallway bunk beds (for children only please!), and a sleeper sofa. This unit can accommodate 6 people comfortably. The master suite has a nice big king size mattress and the guest suite contains a queen size mattress. With three flat screen TVs, three DVD players and WiFi you are sure to be kept entertained and connected throughout your stay. There is a full kitchen as well as both washer and dryer in the unit adding to the comfortable and useful amenities! Take some time to relax on your private beach front balcony and soak up all the Gulf of Mexico has to offer!

Clearwater is a low density complex with a beautiful beach front location making beach access a breeze. Other amenities of this location are an outdoor pool, BBQ grills, and an elevator for ease of access within the building. Clearwater is right near the Gulf State Park and less than a mile from The Hangout and public beaches. With the Gulf State Park being just down the road, you have access to beautiful hiking and biking nature trails, golf, the 1,540 ft fishing pier and many other things! This spot gives you the feeling of calm, quiet and seclusion but with quick and easy access to all the best dining, shopping and recreation that Gulf Shores has to offer.

Great place

Great place to stay in a convenient location. Has everything you need. Six of us stayed comfortably. The kids loved the bunk beds. Room has a great view of the beach. Furniture was a little dated and queen size bed was falling apart. We all had a great time

Great Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here. Check-in was super easy, doors are number coded, so no keys or cards are needed for entry. Communication with the host was excellent. The property itself was as described, kitchen and appliances worked well and were clean. Beds were comfortable. Located right on the beach, easy beach access, nice pool on site as well. Building itself is a little dated, but the condo itself was very nice. Checkout was super simple, no need to swing back by the office, just pack up and hit the road.

Great Condo on the Beach

We spent a lot of time on the patio listening to the waves and had a wonderful breeze at night. Location was easy to get around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Great location

This place was great for our family and located in a very convenient spot for a great price! The only thing I will say is the master bedroom is a bit warmer than the rest of the house but a fan will help that!

Excellent Management Team and Listing

You can't beat the view from this listing! We slept 5 people very comfortably and were pleasantly surprised with the proximity to restaurants, bars and grocery stores.

Disappointed Stay- Clear Water 6D

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Furniture in living room very worn & uncomfortable. King size bed mattress sags. The oven set off smoke alarm every time we tried to cook. Air conditioner to cold in living room and back bedroom was hot all week. Over all Condo needs updating through out !

We were there July 4th week and the view of the fireworks were awesome! Third time staying in this condo and I'm confident there will be more trips to come!

Property was in a good location plenty of space for my family The appliances could use an upgrade along with some on the pans. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. But the unit was quiet and it was very easy to get to the beach.

Good condo

The size and location of property was very nice compared to the larger condos we’ve stayed before. Not over crowded and never had to wait for the elevator. The unit itself needs to be updated. The shower trim is upside down and was confusing how to get the hot water to work.

Family vacation

We had a great stay and overall good experience with this property. Overall it was as advertised except the beach was very crowded during our stay. We did find dirty sheets left in the floor of 1 bedroom and sand in the top bunk and overly abundant on the floors like they hadn’t been swept from the last guest. But we just washed them and tried to keep the floors swept while we were there. The condo has a fully stocked kitchen if you plan to cook. It worked out for our family of 5.

The decorations throughout the condo were so cute and our whole family loved it. You just walked right out to the beach and the pool was also, right there. The view of the beach was beautiful. This was our first visit to Gulf Shores and to rent a condo. We were so impressed and will definitely be back!! I would recommend this condo to anyone.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at Clearwater through Bender Realty, first during spring break. Bender Realty once again was great to work with. The property was as advertised. Although Bender assured us that they do not rent to spring breakers, we did have some in the unit next to us. We were subjected to loud music and pot smoke coming from the balcony next door, and a group of young people banging on our door at midnight and various shenanigans with the college kids in the unit.

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the smaller complex but the condo needs to be upgraded. The stove needs to be upgraded. The master bedroom stays very hot. The Wi-Fi is non-existent. I would think in 2022, every condo should have working reliable internet. If the condo was upgraded, we would stay here again but without upgrading, we would not even consider it.

Happy as a clam!

Reviewer Comments: After spending a long time searching for a condo I finally just called Bender Realty and the helped me find what I was looking for within minutes. Very nice and accommodating. We stayed in Clearwater 6 D and it was great for us. We have 2 adults and 4 kids 8 and under. There was plenty of room. My kids loved the hall bunk beds! The kitchen had everything we needed. The balcony has a lovely view and the rail was tall enough it didn't make me nervous with the kids. I recommend to families to bring extra toilet paper & dish washer detergent. The condo was clean and in nice condition. The beach was clean and perfect for us! We brought our own chairs and umbrella but there are lounge chairs and umbrellas to rent daily. We would rent this unit again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Condo 6D was eye clean but after unpacking, our white socks we were wearing were dirty(black) from walking around the condo. I mopped the entire condo floors. Toaster did not work. Dryer took at least 3 cycles(didn't matter what cycle we used)to dry the minimal clothes. Washer back up with sand on one of our wash cycles. Combo key pad did not work when we checked in. The amount of extension cords plugged into the outlets are a big fire hazard(I am a retired Fire Fighter). The area under the sinks in both bathrooms and kitchen were not clean and had to clean them in order to put any items under there. Batteries in the thermostat needed to be changed and the remotes in both bedrooms had issues. Other than the Condo we did like the Clearwater Building and location.

Not our most enjoyable stay....

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Clearwater 6D (2br 2 bath) with the intention of having a "friend" join us for the week but those plans "fell through". Had it just been the two of us we would have rented a 1 br unit instead. Unit 6D is not our favorite. The furnishings are a little dated, especially the kitchen. The most unpleasant part of our stay was what we found upon our arrival at the property. Construction equipment occupied several spaces in the parking area under the building and in the main one. Apparently, the outside of the building was in need of some repair which entailed workers with power tools noisily removing the first floor balconies. It started at 8:00am and ended about 4:30 or 5:00 every day. It was virtually impossible to enjoy time inside the condo between those hours. Had the rental company, Bender Realty, revealed this to us prior to renting the unit we surely would have chosen a different property. Bender did contact us, via email, after we returned home and did issue us a partial refund. I hadn't yet called them to complain about the construction/demolition, so I assume others complained or they got word from the A/C technicians I was talking to on the elevator.
