Such a pretty and peaceful location in Bilpin. Thoroughly enjoyed a few quiet days away from home with just husband and I. I booked this getaway at the very last minute as a little surprise to celebrate my husbands birthday. We really enjoyed our stay and was only 1.5 hrs away from home. Highlights for us were the sounds of birds, waking up to roosters crowing, and feeding horses carrots. Appreciated the history of the property and owners. Also, thank you for the lovely local goodies in the fridge 🙂.

Thank you Asiye, we really enjoyed you staying at Nungaroo and hope to see you again soon :) The Booking Team - iRIS PROPERTY
We had a wonderful stay at this cute little cottage. The whole booking and check in experience was seamless, amenities great and house comfortable. We stayed on a cold weekend (well cold for us) so the fire was amazing and kept us nice and warm. We loved seeing the donkeys and other animals. The rooster made himself heard but we loved hearing it. Only thing that was hard for us was heating up the spa but maybe we were just inpatient. We can’t thank you enough for an amazing stay and we will certainly be back.
We had a lovely time at Nungaroo. From the lovely greeting by Pete & his dogs, the fresh eggs that made beautiful scrambled eggs and feeding the horses & donkeys. All of this made our stay so memorable. Rooster Cogburn needs to learn that it’s ok to crow at sunrise but not at 3 in the morning but he gave us an excuse to sleep in 😁
We’ll be back for sure. Thanks Pete we had a great time.
We had a lovely time in the cottage. It is in a beautiful setting and it is very relaxing.
We visited in winter and having the fireplace and electric blankets in the bed adds to the cosiness of the cabin. Expect that you need to run the heating to keep warm.
It took a while to get warm but once the hot tub was ready it was lovely to sit out in it and enjoy the stars.
The internet at the cabin worked great.
The TV is a bit dated if that is important and is prepared for that the rooster might crow a bit early but they provide earplugs if needed.
Nungaroo is nestled in the bush and surrounded by the sounds of birds and gentle breezes through the trees. It is a cosy and well-maintained cabin with everything you would need for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Several walks begin from the cabin's doorstep and some extend into the adjoining national park land. We enjoyed meeting and chatting with Peter, the owner, as well as with his pups Rosy, Ruby, and Millie. Our dog, Mojo, especially liked playing with Rosy. Spending time with the horses and donkeys--and feeding them carrots!--also a highlight. We plan on returning to Nungaroo soon!

Hi Bates, thank you! We look forward to seeing you again soon :)
Very cosy, good bed, nice fire - it had everything we expected, except for the dirt access road that was very soft for our weekend and there was no coffee machine. For a property at this price range it would be worth considering the purchase of a pod coffee machine or equivalent.
Great location if you want to take your dog along for the break.

Hi Dean, we are glad you had a nice stay. Yes the council had just regraded the access road and then we got rain which made it a bit muddy! sorry about that but its all great now. Thanks for the mention of the coffee machine we will look into putting one into the cottage. Best Regards The Booking Team
