This Ohakune holiday home includes warm and welcoming open plan living on the middle level, with a wood-burning fireplace to complete your winter getaway - take time out, and relax on the couch with a good book or soak your aches away in the spa after a day on the ski slopes!

On the ground floor at this Ohakune accommodation, bedroom 1 has a queen bed, while bedroom 2 includes a double bunk with a single on top. The upper mezzanine area overlooks the lounge and sleeps 3 people, with 2 king single beds and a single pop-up trundle bed.

Enjoy a selection of entertainment at 'The Junction', just 5 minutes' walk from the house, with restaurants, bars, and cafes.

Everything you need for your home away from home is on hand - drying lines above the living area and the wall hooks beside the fire are incredibly effective for drying wet ski gear after days up the slopes. Plus, the house is well equipped for kids and non-skiing days, including heaps of games, kids toys, DVDs, books, and puzzles. The location is ideal for all your alpine adventures, including tramping, bush walks, mountain biking, skiing, snow boarding, fishing, or hunting...

Lovely cosy property

Great place. Lots of room to play for kids. Steep internal stairs and mezzanine balcony might be hard with toddlers but fine for school aged children. Lovely cosy living/dining with fab fireplace. Comfy beds. Nice spa. Good kitchen facilities. Would happily come back!

Good location for groups

Really nice space, would be great for a group staying together. Property could do with some updating, and more cleaning before guests arrived. Cobwebs and dead bugs were in the corners of bathrooms etc, and there were some things missing, like the kettle and something to light the fire with. But overall, a nice quiet space, lovely spa pool, and really warm house. Would be ideal as a resting spot after a day on the mountain.

I will definitely recommend this property to anyone.

I will definitely recommend this property to anyone. It caters for all seasons. There are games for all ages when its too cold to step out and wifi access had a great signal for all our devices. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfy. One suggestion is that the staircase to the bedrooms has wall handles for gripping.

The photos of the property don't do it justice. One thing I'll mention is that the tv in the photos isn't there any longer and has been replaced with a flat screen which you can plug a usb into. The yard was quite messy with trees that had been felled and not cleaned up at all.

A cute little place in a great location.

A cute little place in a great location. The kitchen was well equiped and then some The beds were comfy. It was nice and warm thanks to the heated towel rails, heaters and wood fires. It had a "mountain charm" about the place - we felt very comfortable. I appreciated the extra touches like the kids toys and DVD collection. The only problem we had was with the washing machine, but that may have been our fault. Very happy! Would love to stay again one day.

This house was PERFECT for our ski get away. Would recommend this to anybody looking for cosy accomadation. Plenty of drying room. Warm with the fire cranking (they even left it ready to be lit!!). Also convientently close to the powder keg.
