Our daughter found the perfect guest quarters for us, far better than a hotel - everything was perfect.

Perfectly charming and very well taken care of victorian cottage in a beautiful and fin neighborhoo.

  • 5 of 5

Loved, loved, loved this charming victorian. Cindy and Jose did such a beautiful job if decorating and it was immaculately clean! Has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It's also located in a wonderful neighborhood. We really enjoyed walking around, enjoying the great neighborhood brewery and food establishments, as well as meeting the very friendly people. We're from CA and we just moved are son to Seattle U, so we look forward to many happy returns!

Great old house with comfy beds.

  • 4 of 5

This old house was very clean and well taken care of. It is in a good neighborhood with easy access to other parts of the city (downtown, Capitol Hill, etc.). While this is not normally an issue, the lack of air conditioning was a drawback during our Labor Day visit due to unseasonable temperatures and smoke from wildfires. There was a swamp cooler in the master, which helped, but it certainly wasn't enough to keep the whole house cool. Other than that, everything was great, the owners communicated well and let us stay late on our last day so we wouldn't have to traverse the city with our suitcases. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone... especially during a non-summer month.

Cozy and well located

  • 4 of 5

Walk to a cute little coffee shop (Katy's), 3 supermarkets ( The Coop, Trader Joe's & Safeway) or take the downtown bus from this well located house. After a day of touring it's a pleasure to return to this quiet neighborhood. If you have a car, it affords on site parking which is a real plus in this city. The driveway is steep, but as Jose warns you, if you go slow there is no problem.

We arrived in the midst of an unusual heat wave (90+) and were concerned about the temperature, but an air conditioner has been installed in one of the bedrooms and with the additional fans, the house was very comfortable. Additionally, Seattle cools off in the evening.

We had access to a full compliment of cable TV stations which was unexpected as was the large dining room which gave us the opportunity to entertain.

This cute little home was perfect and very close to public transportation, or, if you're up for it, a nice walk to downtown and Pike's Place!

Well appointed and maintained charming old house

  • 5 of 5

Quiet neighborhood close to coffee, restaurants, and even Trader Joe's!

The house was spacious and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed. The downstairs laundry was convenient. The parking spot right outside the kitchen was a bonus!

One suggestion to the home owners is adding blackout curtains. It would help light sleepers like us during summer months.

Clean and well located

  • 4 of 5

My mother and I stayed here for a short weekend trip. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The only caution is the tub/shower is difficult to get in and out of. Otherwise, great stay!
