Your host, Ron, has decades of experience in hospitality, as the owner of one of Seattle's most beloved restaurants. I expanded into home renovation during 2010 as general contractor as my wife and I brought our 1967 home into the 21st century. We updated every inch of the home and are comfortable on the first and second floors of this three story home. We especially love the location, the feeling of being in the forest as we gaze out on the wooded garden and watch the birds.
Ron purchased this Apartment in 2010
Why Ron chose Windermere
We have lived in Northeast Seattle for years, but especially enjoy this home for its tranquil setting combined with easy access to everything we love. We can be in the Cascade or Olympic Mountains, on Puget Sound, or the San Juan Islands in no time. Our community is diverse, urban, literate and comfortable.
What makes this Apartment unique
We adopted the Pacific Northwest as our home many years ago, have raised our children here, and are now ready to share our community with visitors. We trust you will leave Seattle as smitten as we are!

Extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped!
Fabulous stay at this property! Probably one of the nicest and best equipped VRBOs we have ever stayed in! Beautiful safe neighbourhood, very clean apartment with super comfortable beds! Ron has thought of everything! Highly recommend this lovely place if you are staying in the Seattle area. Close to transit, and easy to get downtown. Great host, thank you! We will definitely return next time we are in Seattle.
This VRBO is the best we have stayed in. Ron has set up his place so that it really feels like home. Every little detail is covered. The location is fantastic and public transportation is nearby so you can get by without a car. We will be back.
Wonderful apartment and location
Ron's apartment was all we expected and more. It was well stocked with dinnerware, supplies and even some beer and chocolates. It was roomy, well furnished, and the location was ideal for us. While it was too cold for us to get any benefit, the back yard is beautiful and has a fire pit and plenty of seating. Since it was February and the leaves were off the trees, we had a partially obstructed view of Lake Washington. Probably no view in the summer. Ron was very warm, attentive and helpful, and responded to all our needs. He suggested we try Sand Point Grill, which is within walking distance. It was excellent.

Great Little Apartment Rental in Seattle
Great apartment with two bedrooms, one bath, and lots of amenities. Ron was great to work with, and he has outfitted the apartment with just about anything you could need. We will definitely try to stay here again when we are visiting our daughter who lives nearby.
My family has been renting VRBO and Airbnb properties all over the world for about 6 years. Ron's property is the best one we have stayed in to date! He has put a great deal of thought into all of the details large and small. The kitchen is fully equipped and even has good quality sharp knives. The beds were exceptionally comfortable with very high quality linens. The space was immaculately clean when we arrived.
The unit is very well located within walking distance to three great restaurants and a Metropolitan Market. The University of Washington and the University Shopping Village are all within a 10 minute drive.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a fabulous place to stay and explore Seattle.
