This unique and exclusive family villa, Villa Lava (Lava Villa), was constructed in 1998 with volcanic rock. Built in the foothills in the Natural Park, it is situated on one acre of private land with its own private swimming pool (6.7m x 4.6m/22' x 15'). It's in an exclusive area of the island with spectacular views of the Natural Park, the sea, and Lanzarote. The villa's master bedroom is en-suite with shower. A safe is provided for your valuables. The second and third bedrooms have a separate entrance off the courtyard, and share a fully-fitted bathroom. All bed linens are supplied in Lava Villa. The kitchen is fully equipped.

Very true to the advertisement. We were not disappointed. A typical lava stone house lost amid volcanoes and cacti. Far from any disturbances but still close to the beach and small villages typical of Fuerteventura.The house is very pleasant, nothing is missing, and the owners are very friendly and easy to reach. We highly recommend it.

A very comfortable and well equipped villa in a lovely quiet location with a view of the landscape. A car is a must, but it's only about 15 minutes from the coast. If you like quiet& away from the crowds then this a very nice place to stay. Fuertevetura has a lot of walking tracks and plenty that are easily accessible and not too difficult. The owners were very friendly and prompt at messaging. No complaints at all.

An escape from it all

We enjoyed the uniqueness of the property and the location . It was so peaceful and relaxing and to see clear skies at night with no light pollution , you don’t realise how many starrs are in the sky . A car is essential for your stay but that opens the door for exploring the island as well . The property has all you need with comfortable beds and a very nice en-suite bathroom . The kitchen had all that we needed and the lounge had a good collection of books , dvds and comfy sofas . My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay .

Fabulous

Had a great week here, the villa was just right, had all that we needed, the pool was a little chilly but once you braved it, it was fine, this was March though so probably gets warmer later on inn the season. Great communication with Frank throughout. You need a car as it's up in the hills, a great bakery and restaurants nearby, and plenty to see and do, including the sand dunes about 20 minute drive away. Highly recommended.

Beautiful home

Beautiful, well furnished and equipped home. Ceramic flooring throughout, really nice feel to the property. Dramatic scenetic setting. Car definitely required, as shops at least 7 minute drive away. 20 mins to main, bigger ,busy town with lots to do, including watersports, shopping, restaurants and beautiful beach for snorkelling. Great communication withbowner and help on hand nearby..

Amazing View

Amazing View. In general the Villa is cute. Need to be refresh a bit as kitchen and furniture. Maybe for just one family Is perfect but for two family with 4 kids the kitchen is small and the furniture old. The bedroom were nice and clean. Bathrooms new and clean. The kindness of the owner is amazing❤️. The Villa will need a dish washer any way. We love the view and the position is perfect.

Yes, Lava Villa it is not suitable for 2 families of 4 adults and 4 children. The villa is advertised for up to 6 people, not 8 people. The kitchen is not for suitable 8 people either. The sizes of all the rooms are shown on the floor plan on the website (see photo 25/28). The description and photos don’t lie, the villa is exactly as described and seen in the photos. We are very disappointed that you gave the villa such a low rating. Having seen the description and viewed the photos, it should have been obvious that the villa did not suit your needs.

Glorious peace and quiet with everything you need.

Villa Lava is located away from noise and bustle but only a short drive from everything you would need (groceries, coast, restaurants, shopping, Natural Park (Desert-style dunes....). The design of the Villa is quite unique with 3 bedrooms spread across 2 separate 'wings' and a kitchen and sitting room providing a communal area in between. This forms a courtyard with covered patios on two sides looking out across a small, simple pretty garden. The 4th side is a tall wall that encloses a door way through to the pool. The inner courtyard this provides absolute privacy and some welcome shade. The pool is more than sufficient to provide relief from the heat of the sun. The Villa is off grid bringing a sense of adventure and carrying green credentials that never actually find you short of holiday comforts. In essence it is a place of relaxation and chill.

Windy weather

The position was perfect for us , secluded but just 20 minutes from big towns and chic fishing village with local shops 5 minutes away , great pool and outstanding views , Trevor the neighbour was great with recommendations and help. On the down side the lack of a decent pool side sun shade /umbrella was frustrating and unblocking the shower not great , a bit of TLC would be good felt like it hardened been used for a while . But overall great place

Relaxing vacation in a quiet space

We, 2 adults and our 21 year daugther, spent 10 days in this beautiful location. The house is located in an area, where you find a small number of similar lava-stone built houses. It is an absolute quiete place and from the living room and garden, you can see the see and next island Lancarote. Although this place is really out in nowhere, it is only a few minutes drive to Villaverde, where you find 2 supermarkets, a backery and restaurants. Thanks to Franks for his long list of recommendations and directions. Even tough, it can be windy, the house and garden is such located, that we were able to stay all day outside, even with strong wind from the north. Although the pool is not heated, we used it every day (March) and enjoyed the chance to cool down. Just consider when traveling with small children, the pool has the same depth in all area (approx. 1.8m). The house features all you need and the panorama window in the living room is just fantastic. Frank and Maria are fantastic hosts. We had some asks and got immediate response, even they were not on the island. This is a place I would go back to, to have some very relaxing and quiet vacation.

A peaceful paradise!

What a wonderful place to get away from it all. The villa is such a clever design set in an extensive gated plot with generous space for parking. Going through the door we were delighted to find a walled courtyard with an outdoor dining set and cushioned bench in the sheltered space around a beautiful cactus garden. 3 doors lead away from the courtyard: one to the living space, 1 to a double bedroom & bathroom and 1 to a double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom. As 2 single parent famies this was just brilliant, we could access our own family spaces without intruding on each other whilst being able to access the shared space without disturbing each other. The beds are comfortable and the rooms well furnished with local influence to the decor and furnishings that felt just right in the setting. The shower-rooms were lovely, especially the double headed showers. The living room is generously sized with a massive floor to ceiling window looking across the garden to the dunes and the sea in the distance. At night if you turn the living room lights out you can see the stars through the window as there is so little light pollution. The kitchen was spotlessly clean and suited our needs well; with a child with complex dietary needs, we needed to cook / bake daily. The poolside space was where we spent most of our holiday. With more than enough sun lungers for lazing in the sun (don't forget your suncream) and inflatables to keep everyone entertained in the pool.

Perfect !

Beautiful villa, well equipped, sea view, near (a few minutes) to all the beaches of northern Fuerteventura and a few minutes from shops or restaurants, while being secluded enough for those who prefer to be away from the crowded hotels. A friendly welcome basket and a welcome note from our guests make the stay even more enjoyable.

Simply tremendous !

La villa est très belle et fonctionnelle avec son patio au frais et son côté piscine plein sud, entouré d'un jardin typique des contrés arides, le tout planté dans un décor somptueux en termes de vue, de paysages et de couleurs. En plus, Franck et Maria sont prévenants : cadeaux et mots de bienvenus nous attendaient sur la table de la salle à manger. Bref, une villa où il fait bon pour s'y reposer, décrocher des lieux communs et explorer l'île. De très bons moments passés à 6. Nous la recommandons tous !

Die Vulkanvilla liegt etwas abseits vom Trubel und doch ist man mit dem Auto in 20 Minuten in El Cotillo direkt am Meer mit herrlichen Stränden und ausgezeichneten Restaurants wie z.B. dem NaNa

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal dort und es hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen. Die Kommunikation mit Frank hat wieder super geklappt. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Besitzer haben eine neue, sehr schöne Küche eingebaut.Wirklich sehr schön und hell!! Wir würden die Lava Villa jederzeit wieder buchen.
