Beautiful Breakfast Views

House was beautiful and plenty of space! The home was very comfortable for us and the kids loved the pinball machine and fireplace.

Great location and great house. Would have liked information on temperature control. I only figured out the Nest controlled heating system a day before we left. Before that the house was miserably hot in late afternoon. But that is minor and it’s a great property and excellent host!

Great location for a quiet family holiday. Loved the pinball, the beautiful mountain views, and the big screen TV for holiday specials. Easy drive to Main St and the Breckenridge Troll. Great holiday!

Mountain Retreat delight!

We had a great time at Mountain Retreat. Secluded and close to town at the same time. If we needed anything at any time, our host was quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful visit to Breckenridge!

Excellent property

We were very happy with our stay!! The house was very comfortable and cozy during our winter stay and had everything we needed. It is approximately 1 mile from the Main Street and being close to so many attractions was very nice and convenient. I would recommend this property to others!

Beautiful home with great views of Breckenridge and the surrounding mountains. Kitchen had everything we needed and house was very clean. 4 minute drive down to the peak 9 base area. Hot tub was great.

Peace in the woods

Such a beautiful property with amazing views, tucked in the trees. Very close to town but felt far from the bustle. Everything we needed. There were others staying in the lower portion of the house but it did not interfere with our stay. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home. We would stay here again

Great house

We had a great time in this spacious house just outside Breckenridge. The house is a few minutes from town and free parking for skiing (shuttle to mountain) can be had at the ice rink nearby. The house has 3 spacious bedrooms, and a large living area. The views are spectacular and the hot tub is relaxing after a day on the slopes. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed playing the range of games and pinball machine. Cheryl was responsive to our questions and we would definitively stay again.

Great location, amazing views, overall great stay minus a few things.

The location is great if you like a more remote feel but like to be close to downtown. It’s a little over 5 minutes to downtown in the Summer (maybe slightly longer in winter due to roads). The property is beautiful and very private. We saw deer twice from the kitchen window. The house itself had wonderful views, especially from the dining room area. The kitchen is well equipped but does need some upgraded small appliances (toaster is difficult to work with and blender is not working at all) and kitchen utensils. The layout of the house with the 2 upstairs BRs and larger BR downstairs is good for a family of 4 like ours. The house is somewhat dated, but is overall a great place. We were disappointed that the pinball machine pictured in the listing was not functional. Perhaps replacing that with a newer arcade game console would be good, as the pinball machine is obviously a bit of an antique. The doors and locks were a bit of a problem for us, but the owner has plans to take care of those asap. Although mostly just difficult to use, the door to the back porch was actually completely non-functional, so the porch (where we would have liked to have eaten and where the grill is) is only accessible from the master bedroom sliding door, which is obviously awkward. Overall, we really liked the house for what we were looking for. We would definitely stay there again once a few things are updated and fixed.

Great place to stay close to Breck

We loved our stay at this property. Good views, nice home, plenty of patio space and the hot tub was available for our stay. We had a rolling pin ball machine tournament during the whole stay and used the hot tub each night. So relaxing and enjoyable family get away.

Amazing family ski vacation

The property was beautiful, spacious and had a perfect location. We didn’t see the deer that busted us each day but we saw it’s hoof prints in the snow outside our bedroom glass door each morning!! The views of the mountain peaks were amazing. We are a family of 5 and had more than enough space to roam the house. Will be staying here again.

Great views!

My wife and I, our son, DIL and kids (4 and 9) really enjoyed our 5-night stay this large, comfortable, and clean house south of Breckenridge. Being on a hillside amongst the aspen trees and wildflowers you get incredible views from the 2 decks, kitchen eating area, and dining room. The hummingbirds, fox, and bear that came by were a wonderful bonus for us all. While the house needs some minor updates/fixes, we were very pleased with our stay and hope to return. The owner was exceptionally communicative, and very quick to respond to questions.

Spacious and comfortable with great views

Overall very comfortable for a larger group. The owners provided great service and there is a bonus: mother moose and and calf were laying outside one of the bedroom windows.

Great home and location

We had 2 families, 4 adults and 3 teens. Everyone enjoyed the space the house offered. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked breakfast and dinner daily. It was conveniently located to Breckenridge and had amazing views from every window. Would definitely recommend it to families.

SUPERB!!!!

We had a great time in this house. From the pictures you can’t see how big this house really is. Vaulted ceilings, top appliances, big, comfy rooms and bathrooms. The Pinball machine in the living room was a hit with the kids and adults alike, my 2 year old grandson became a pro at it. Cheryl you are the best!!! Thank you for all your help and kindness.
