  • Enjoyed our stay in Leadville

"We stayed for the 2015 Leadville Trail 100 mountain bike Race. The house is very clean and updated. It is well situated in town and close to the main street. The owners were pleasant to deal with. Our only disappointment was the lack of laundry facilities and the BBQ ran out of gas on day 2."

  • Would give 4.5 if I could

"Really enjoyed this cabin. I enjoyed the isolation and views. Seems like a cabin built in the 1980s that was lived in at one time but is now a rental. I couldn't sleep well the first night because the cabin was hot when I arrived and some of the Windows wouldn't stay open. After reading the directions the next day we were great. Another problem I had was twice (two different nights) a rabbit fell down inside the window well at night and kept trying to come through the screen. There was a dead rabbit in the window well. I rescued the rabbit each time. Pros: comfortable and spacious cabin. Slept 7 comfortably. More if you use the stair mattresses. Cons: some minor maintenance and upkeep needed. Would recommend fixing the window ballasts and a cover to keep the rabbits out of the window well"

  • Great cottage, perfect location

"I stayed at Nancy's cottage over a weekend while working on a Colorado Trail crew nearby. Upon arrival, I unfortunately interrupted Nancy as she was making dinner, but she couldn't have been nicer in showing me around the cottage and recommending some places to go nearby. The cottage is just as it should be and even bigger than it looks in the pictures. When I brought my stuff up to the bedroom upstairs, I was worried it would be too hot to sleep in. But I opened the balcony door windows and as soon as the sun set, it cooled off to the perfect sleeping temperature. All of the other cottage accommodations were perfect. The wifi was strong and reliable. The location couldn't have been better. Less than 2 blocks to the main part of town with every restaurant, bar and shop you could want. I recommend City on the Hill for coffee or a quick lunch, Tennessee Pass Cafe for a good sit down lunch/dinner, and Periodic Brewery for a good kolsch and some Pb schwag. Take a trip to Turquoise Lake for sunset... You won't regret it. I will definitely try to book the cottage again the next time I'm in town. LOVED IT."

  • Excellent Home for multiple families

"Lostberry was the perfect house for the 4 couples that enjoy travelling together but appreciate privacy. Everyone had their own suite of rooms with ample space. The large common areas accommodated group meals and cooking, game playing, ball game watching and a week long pool tournament. The house is well equipped and nicely furnished for comfort. Beautiful inside and out! Our group brought off road vehicles for mountain trail riding and there was plenty of parking space on the property for trailering in 4 RAZRs. That is hard to find!"
