  • Wonderful house for large family

"This spacious home was very comfortable for our large family with two car garage for easy out of the weather access. Lovely kitchen and dining area accommodations for large group. Close to grocery store, Leadville downtown, and Ski Cooper. We were very comfortable in this home and enjoyed our visit over the Christmas holidays. Make sure to use the garage entrance as the front door sidewalk can get icy! House stays toasty warm with the fireplace no central heat needed. Kids enjoyed the downstairs game table area but had trouble getting the downstairs Dish TV to work. Beautiful view from upstairs living room fireplace area of wooded backyard."

  • Clean. Amenities as advertised except fireplace didn't work

"Great place to stay. Was disappointed that the fireplace wouldn't work because that was one of the key features we looked for. Owner did warn us that fireplace was broken the day of our travel"

  • Beautiful cabin, gorgeous location

"The cabin is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful views of the mountains, amazing hiking and biking trails all around, a short drive to the charming mountain town of Leadville. The decor inside is warm and inviting, with comfy furniture, a gas fireplace for heat, an ample eat-in kitchen, a beautiful dining table, awesome bedrooms (including a super cool loft upstairs), 2 full laundry rooms (there's a full apartment downstairs with kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom, and laundry!), and tons of unique touches ike the pressed tin light switch plates, and the door handles made from antique railroad ties. If you're looking for a mountain getaway, or a winter ski trip for the ages, a summer/spring retreat into the mountains, this is the place. Any time of year you are guaranteed to love coming back to this cabin from whatever adventures you had during the day."
