  • Great location in downtown

"We stayed at this home (and it is a home) in for the Leadville trail 100 run in August. It far exceeded our expectations. The photos really do not do justice. Key takeaways: - Very large and roomy - Well laid out, with plenty of social space downstairs, and three sizeable bedrooms upstairs - Master is very large, with its own sitting area - Nice backyard, and nice deck of the top level for views towards the mountains - Well furnished. This is not a luxury rental, but it is very homey and comfortable - Lots of space for lots of people. We did not take full advantage of it, but this would fit 2+ families comfortably. - Excellent wifi Finally, it is only block off Harrison street. For anyone attending the leadville race series, only 2 blocks from the starting line on 6th and Harrison. Could not be easier to walk into town, yet still on a quiet street. Impossible to have a better location. If/when we come back to Leadville, we will be staying here. Owners were also very nice. I could tell that this was a "home" from them (I assume a second home) and treated it as such, not just an income property."

  • Enjoyed our stay in Leadville

"We stayed for the 2015 Leadville Trail 100 mountain bike Race. The house is very clean and updated. It is well situated in town and close to the main street. The owners were pleasant to deal with. Our only disappointment was the lack of laundry facilities and the BBQ ran out of gas on day 2."

  • Comfortable home away from home

"Rented this house for the weekend of the Leadville Heavy Half. It all worked out perfectly. The house had plenty of room and was great for pets, hard surface flooring and great backyard. The home was clean and the beds comfortable. The caretaker was very friendly; we talked with him about Leadville for quite a while. Bonus is that the house backs up the one of the cemeteries, which may sound like an odd bonus, but was fascinating for evening walks. We always enjoy visiting Leadville and this home is a great choice."

  • Cute, clean, comfy house in a great location!

"We visited Leadville on a hiking weekend with our daughter and son-in-law who live in Denver. Unfortunately we were only in Leadville for one night, but we loved staying at Jason and Jaycie's house. As others have mentioned in their reviews, it seemed roomier than the square footage indicates and was very clean and comfortable. It's in such a cute neighborhood with very nice people. Just by chance, we met the gentleman next door right after we arrived, and he was so friendly and helpful. The house is within walking distance of great places to eat, shop, and just soak in the old Western town atmosphere. We loved sitting outside with a bottle of wine on the front porch and back deck as evening fell and enjoyed City on a Hill for coffee and muffins for breakfast. The views of the mountains are great -- several 14,000+ ft.peaks nearby -- and we were within easy driving distance of some really good hiking. Jason was wonderful to deal with, very easygoing and quick to respond to emails. We did have our daughter's dog with us and just followed the reasonable rules Jason gave us for keeping her off the furniture and beds. I highly recommend this home for couples or families with children -- we thoroughly enjoyed our visit."
