A refined hardwood home with the feel of a treehouse.  Moonshine is designed by a local architect and built by island builders.  It is a timeless example of what a beach house can be on this beautiful island, with simple pleasures as the focus.  Think BBQ prawns and a cold beer, in a shady space with tree framed views and a refreshing breeze.

The building is split over several levels, each with quiet spaces and eye-catching aspects.  Settle down with a book in a tranquil spot, enjoy views of the Coral Sea through native gums, or lounge on the day beds with sea breezes on the open viewing deck.

Moonshine by Discover Stradbroke is a simple beach house without fuss, just as a beach holiday should be. On the top level is a queen bedroom linked by internal/external stairs to the living, kitchen, bathroom and entrance floor, with the lower level housing two sets of bunks and bathroom/laundry.

Park your car or leave it at home and take the bus to the front door. Just 100m walk to Cylinder Beach access road, local shops and the Straddie pub.

Note: Moonshine is not suitable for those families with young children or those who may find stairs challenging.
