Lovely Englewood Home Near Beaches & Golf

Our spacious 3 bedroom home sleeps 6 comfortably and is located in the wonderful town of Englewood, Florida on the Gulf Coast just minutes to Venice and easily accessible to Tampa, Fort Myers and Sarasota airports. We will offer a significant discounts on stays 4 months or longer.

The house has three bedrooms, two full baths, a screened lanai looking onto a fully fenced and beautiful yard. The kitchen is completely equipped with dishwasher and there is a washer, dryer, DVD/VCR and CD player along with TV with cable and wireless internet access. There is parking in the garage and additional parking available for a boat or RV. The Overbrook Association provides a community boat ramp in the neighborhood that is available with this rental.

Within 1 1/2 mile walk (through a quiet neighborhood) is beautiful Manasota Key Beach. See their web site for great pictures, noted as one of the best beaches in the country.

Our Englewood vacation beach house is very roomy. The master bedroom is comfortably furnished and has a queen-size bed. The bedroom attached to the master bedroom bathroom has a shower. The second bedroom has a twin bed with trundle(sleeps two) and attractive furnishings. The third bedroom has a queen sized bed and desk. All bedrooms have good-sized closets and both bathrooms are full size and have showers. The second bath room has a bath tub/shower combination.

The home is fully and comfortably furnished and the screened-in lanai has table and chairs. There are beach chairs, beach towels and a charcoal grill; everything you need for a relaxing vacation or winter respite! Just bring your bathing suit!

Our Englewood home is also very close to Venice and the beaches there. You can drive (about 10 minutes) to the Venice Pier and Sharkys where you can enjoy live music at night and watch the sunset.

Close to Busch Gardens in Tampa Florida. Only 1 1/2 hours to Walt Disney World Florida, Sea World Florida, and Universal Studios in Orlando Florida.

We rent only by the month during January, February and March. Discount given for multiple months. Weekly rates are available April through November subject to availability and monthly rates negotiable for other months. We would also consider annual renters.

Great home! Amazing host!

This was our second time staying at this property and Juila was once again an amazing host! Last year we were at her property during hurricane Ian and Julia was very good about keeping in contact to make sure we were ok. We came back this August and were there for two months. Julia's property was clean and organized at our arrival. We had everything we could possibly need for a long stay. Plenty of clean sheets, towels, and a kitchen stocked with all the basic needs. Ray and Linda were once again very reliable and took amazing care of the property. My kids looked forward to seeing Ray on his riding mower every week and the grass around the entire property was always very well kept. Ray was very responsive if we had any questions about the property and the surrounding area as well. The yard is very large and fenced in and provided my children and dog a safe place to run around after dinner. The garage also has a beach umbrella and chairs as well as some buckets. The drive to Manasota Beach is just about 5 minutes and this house is close enough to catch the most beautiful sunsets. We are thankful and happy that we had a very comfortable and clean home for our stay and had amazing neighbors as well! I would absolutely recommend Julia's home to my family and friends when they visit!

Great property. Had everything you could need. No lack of kitchen utensils (as some places have). Back yard is spacious and great to play with kids or relax under the shade of the trees. Excellent neighborhood. Quiet, safe, and very close to Manasota Key beach. I'll miss my morning bike rides to the beach. Julia Anne was great to work with.

We both grew up in RI; Julia Anne went to college in CT, lived in NYC and returned to RI in the early 90s and met Peter. Peter went to college in RI and we both now live in Charlestown, RI with our boys.

Why they chose this property

Peter and Julia Anne Slom purchased three rental properties with my parents (Julia Anne) when they located there seasonally from RI in 2005. My mom still lives nearby and is a great connection there.
