Lemon Bay Hideaway - Beach Bungalow with Tropical Gardens
A tropical oasis awaits you! Lovely Florida style cottage that gives you the feeling of being back in time. Home features a lovely view of Alligator Creek with palms and shaded outdoor seating. Explore any of the seven beaches within a four mile radius. Shamrock Park is also less than one mile away and there are bicycles available for your usage. So many wonderful things to see and do with easy access to downtown Venice and Englewood. Venice Island is 8 minutes away.
Space includes two bedrooms with queen sized beds and one full bathroom. There is also a fully stocked vintage kitchen with new retro appliances and a little dining area. The large background is fenced in and has a picnic table for you to sit out and enjoy. There is also a covered carport and full laundry room available for your convience.
Full access to house and yard.
Self check in and out. Available via phone for any issues that may come up.
South Venice is a quiet little neighborhood nestled along the Gulf Coast and just a few minutes south of historic Venice and the Island. There are a number of recreational opportunities within the neighborhood.
The South Venice Civic Association is right around the corner from our home. They host various events every month that are open to the public.
Shamrock Park and Nature Center encompasses some of the last remaining "scrub" habitat in Sarasota County. Here you will find the Florida Scrub Jay, Gopher Tortoises, and many other beautiful wildlife species. There are move than a mile of nicely paved trails for walking and biking. The park also has a variety of sport courts including tennis and basketball, there is also a nice playground for the kiddos.
Connected to Shamrock Park is the larger Venetian Waterway, which is a paved path system that goes around Venice and the Island, as well as connecting to the Legacy Trail. The Legacy Trail offers over 20 miles of paved walking and biking trails from Venice north into Sarasota.
Parking available for up to two cars. Bicycles available for guest use (with a waiver).
