The apartment is situated on the top 4th/floor of the apartment block (with 2 lifts) - this provides good views and cool breezes. The complex has 24 hour reception, Wifi internet access, a poolside restaurant/bar and a launderette. The apartment is comfortably furnished with a newly renovated and well equipped kitchen. The bathroom has been refurbished with a new walk in shower .There are delightful grounds to relax in and plenty of loungers around the 25m pool that has a new non slip surrounding surface. The complex is in a quiet location only 5 mins walk from supermarkets, bus routes, beaches and beach bar (with satellite sports TV), medical centre, banks, tennis courts and plenty of restaurants. Car hire is not neccessary due to the excellent situation.

Why Heather Haddon chose Sandy Lane
We bought the apartment for 2 reasons - to have somewhere to stay when visiting our grandchildren in Barbados and for the convenience of the situation. We are near all the amenities in one of the main holiday areas but in a quiet position.Everything you need is within walking distance. The gardens are great, being cool and shady and the pool is big enough for real swimming. As the apartments are only one bedroomed, the block tends to attract couples and is quite peaceful and alot of the apartments are not rented out ensuring that it is never very busy.
What makes this Apartment unique
We particularly chose our apartment as it is on the top floor( with 2 lifts) and it has views over the trees to the sea and it catches all the through breezes making a/c usually unnecessary. In December 2009, the kitchen was refitted with new cabinets, fridge/ freezer and cooker. We have also knocked a wall down to make it more open plan which makes it cooler for cooking. The bathroom was modernised in May 2016 and now has a walk in shower. We have cable tv . Our apartment renters are members of the beach House for the duration of their stay . This includes a pool and beach access
Pool / Spa
Just got back from a fabulous 2 week stay in this apartment, Heather was a dream to deal with she answered all of my questions(even when she was on holiday herself). Cy the manager was a star making sure we were settled in and also offering to take us shopping. The apartment itself had everything you could possibly need and everything was perfect for us, we loved sitting on the balcony at night relaxing. The complex is quiet but that suited us down to the ground everybody we met was friendly. When we visit the West Coast again there is no doubt we will be trying to book this apartment. We have stayed in these apartments before as its in a realy gool location,we use the yellow buses to get to the beach at st james paynes bay.The apartment has everything you would need aircon is to pay but we only used it at night it was so cheap as well!the pool and gardens are delightfull as are the staff.The apartments are very secure with 24hour reception and a laundry should you require it.Holetown is a fab place plenty places to eat try lome grove cocktail bar as well.We would definatley return to this apartment good holiday

Tranquil and idylic.
My husband is from B'dos and we have stayed at Golden View many times over the last 28 years. This was the first time we had stayed in this particular apartment which had been recommended by my sister. The apartment is excellent value for money, well equipped and benefits from large opening between kitchen and living area. Being on the third floor offer's an excellent view and additional benefits for a cooling breeze. It is quiet, comfortable and will book to stay here again on our next visit to the Island.

GOOD POSITION AND WELL EQUIPPED
The apartment is near some of the most beautiful beaches of the Island (even if we suggest to rent a car for having a look on the Whole Island). To reach the beach it takes about 10 minutes walking and about 5 to the small village and supermarket). Nice garden with swimming pool and Chinese restaurant. Well equipped kitchen and balcony having nice view. No night- life. Perfect for old people or a family with kids. .

The nearest white sand beach is 5 minutes walk away, but other west coast beaches can be easily accessed by bus. All tenants will have a temporary membership of a beach club with pool, dining and beach during their stay (also 5 minutes walk!)
Sunset Crest is 30 mins from the airport where taxis are plentiful. Car hire is not necessary due to the excellent position of the apartment. There is a very good bus service which runs close to the apartment - buses run along the west coast north to Speightstown and south to Bridgetown.
Barbados is not a large island and all places of interest on the island can be reached within approx 30 minutes driving.
Sunset Crest and Holetown are excellent areas to base a Barbados holiday - everything is so close. There are top class restaurants and cheaper diners in the area. The new Limegrove lifestyle centre - designer shops, bars and cinema is also with in walking distance.The supermarket is well stocked and the shopping mall has a wide range of shops. There are local fruit stalls and chatel village shops nearby.
This part of the west coast offers plenty of opportunity for watersports including scuba diving. There are tennis courts that can be hired within walking distance.
