Perfect compound for celebration!

This villa was perfect for our 2 week stay - first week with 10 family members and second week with 8 friends. Great spaces for getting together and relaxing pool annd outdoor kitchen. Each of the 6 bedrooms were a private oasis. The location is perfect to explore all that the island has to offer!

Beautiful property, challenging owner

This was the second time we stayed at this property and it was as beautiful this time as it was the last. Our host Yvette was very responsive, though she spoke little English which made communication challenging for us. Upon checking in with our 3 small children, Yvette immediately seemed quite stressed about having them excitedly exploring the property. But we proceeded to check in and begin our stay. We were a group of two families and one of the children was celebrating his birthday during the stay. We arranged a small party for him will 3 additional children and some party favours including an inflatable bouncy castle and water slide. While we did not seek Our host’s approval for this, we didn’t foresee it being an issue as it was just for one day and a small group that was well supervised. It turned out to be a big issue and our host was very upset and had us remove the items. She was very angry despite there being no damage whatsoever caused. This property is absolutely stunning and we have beautiful memories here from both our stays. It was a shame to have this issue during the trip, as we had always considered it a special place to which we’d love to return. Just something to bear in mind if you have small children or any intention to celebrate something of this nature while you stay. I would certainly recommend the property to others.

Het huis was waanzinnig mooi alleen NIET naartoe gaan als je wil feesten

Dit verblijf is absoluut NIET geschikt als je graag een feestje bouwt op Ibiza. Het huis ligt dicht tegen een hotel aan (wat je niet kan zien) wat er voor zorgt dat je bij het minste lawaai klachten krijgt. Zo hadden wij een muziekinstallatie gehuurd en de eerste nacht een feestje gebouwd. Door de klachten van het hotel zijn we door de eigenares bijna uit ons huis gezet. We hebben de installatie dan weggedaan en mochten ook geen muziek meer spelen door een kleine box. Zelfs zingen zonder muziek zorgde ervoor dat we klachten kregen. Ga hier dus NIET naartoe als je wilt genieten van een feestvakantie. Voor gezinnen die het rustig aan willen doen is dit een paradijs.

Great house on large piece of land

This is a lovely house on a large plot. Located in the centre of the island it is very convenient as a result. Pool is maybe a bit small if I had to pick something to improve but all in all a really great villa and we would definitely stay again.

An excellent choice, and the most amazing sunsets

We had such a wonderful stay at this secluded, beautifully-appointed property. Owners Emma and Jean-Pierre couldn't have been more helpful in the lead up to the trip, they were very responsive on email and over the phone. Once there, the lovely housekeeper Theresa and her team were on the property daily keeping it in great condition and offering any help we might have needed. Towels and linens were changed throughout our stay, and Theresa even helped with some of our own washing that needed doing. All the rooms were large and beautifully decorated, a gorgeous mix of rustic style and modern conveniences. Two of the bedrooms were separate from the house in an annex, and there was a great entertaining and bbq area set slightly away from the house too which meant we could make noise at night and not worry about waking our baby (or anyone else) up. The property was huge with lots of play area for kids, and scattered seats and daybeds from which to take in the magnificent sunsets. San Rafael town is really conveniently placed to allow you to explore the whole island. Driving into Ibiza town took just 10 minutes, traffic permitting, and the south, west and north of the island were easily accessible. The only issue we had was with getting taxi pick up at the location as it was about a 5 min drive from San Rafael town centre off a few little dirt roads. We didn't find drop pins would work easily, but luckily we had a car so were just got taxis to and from town and then drove the short road home. I would think a car would be essential. We loved this place and would definitely go back. Highly recommend! Jane M
