Este elegante Villa de una planta es una recientemente convertido Portugués finca, situada en el exclusivo Carvoeiro Clube con sus fabulosas instalaciones de tenis. La villa ha sido objeto recientemente de una amplia remodelación y modernización y ofrece amplio alojamiento de calidad, de un alto nivel y está situado en muy bien cuidados, jardines con una piscina privada climatizada. Un patio interior encantador y una gran terraza en la azotea proporcionan áreas adicionales en el que disfrutar de este maravilloso clima. El animado pueblo de Carvoeiro está a cinco minutos en coche y ofrece una amplia variedad de restaurantes, tiendas y una maravillosa playa de arena. Los campos de golf están a unos 3 km de distancia.

Family break

We loved this villa- very spacious and comfortable inside and out- we felt instantly relaxed. We loved the quiet area and it was cheap and easy to get Ubers to go out to restaurants- although you can walk to Carvoeiro if not too hot. Great communication with Lisa and lovely to have a mid week clean. Loved the roof terrace for a sunset drink. Fabulous stay.

What a wonderful villa and place to stay. We felt super relaxed from the moment we walked in and the surroundings were very peaceful. The villa is extremely well equipped including the kitchen - often we have found in previous places we have stayed that the size of pans provided didn’t reflect the number of people the villa catered for, which made cooking very challenging, this is absolutely not the case here. Very easy to cook for 7 people!The villa is immaculately maintained and cleaned inside and out. The pool and outside areas are amazing and where we spent most of our time. Lisa is a wonderful host and very responsive. Would highly recommend this villa and would definitely book again when visiting Portugal. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing villa

We have just had a week at this beautiful villa and we were definitely not disappointed. The villa and gardens were beautiful and spacious in a lovely quiet peaceful area. Look forward to returning.

Fantastic House

The house was excellent, the location very good. Carvoeiro is a nice small and quiet village. Relatively close if you want to go to Faro or to Lagos and Lisbon. A car is needed to get around to beaches and attractions.

We have visited Carvoeiro many times when our children were younger, as we had a family villa close to this property, so we already knew the area well. This villa is very well laid out, exceptionally clean, and has a fantastic pool and patio. The air conditioning made our stay much more comfortable, especially with August temperatures over 30C. We didn’t opt for the heated pool, as we felt it wouldn’t be necessary – and it wasn’t.We used Waze to find the villa; however, the address directs you to the rear entrance, which also caused a little confusion when using Bolt/Uber. In the past, a car was essential here, but with Uber and Bolt now readily available, relying on cabs is no longer a problem.In summary, this is a great villa and well worth a visit.

Beautiful villa in great location

Fantastic villa with lovely garden, great outdoor spaces to dine, sunbathe or just relax. Close to sights, amenities and coast. We really enjoyed the bbq area and roof terrace. The kitchen was really well equipped to enjoy dining in. Fantastic choice of restaurants and locations nearby. The handbook provided gave a really useful guide for eating out, locations to visit or just to get groceries. Would come again as still lots to see in a great part of the Algave!

Superb

Great property, in a quiet area, the photos do not really do the property justice. Very clean and well looked after. the owner Lisa was very helpful in providing tips on the local area, and communication was excellent prior to the holiday. Would definitely go back!

Great stay in a perfect spot

Villa was spotless and exactly as described. Lisa was a great host to communicate with and the Villa handbook was really comprehensive and informative. Location is great in a very nice neighbourhood with easy access to towns and lots of availability with Uber to explore the many and varied local restaurants. Also really surprised by the wines being made in the Algarve and would recommend arranging a visit to Paxa Wines and to Joao at Quinta dos Capinhas

Excellent family villa

After many years of renting villas we rate this as one of the best, providing three generations with well thought out accommodation complemented by superb gardens and excellent heated swimming pool. The villa was larger than expected with plenty of areas for dining and relaxing and kept spotlessly clean by Christina. Despite not having a hire car local taxis where abundant for visiting local areas. Would recommend to family. The MIdwood family

Lovely place

Lovely modern, spacious villa with beautiful warm pool and private gardens. It has all mod cons (although could perhaps do with a more modern sound system and smart tv, but we didn’t miss those having taken ipads and bluetooth speakers) and is well appointed. The main part town is walkable in 20 mins. We did that a few times, but it’s not a great road when walking with a pushchair as we did so we tended to get ubers either way, which are readily available and only cost €3 or so. We’d very much like to return in the near future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Lovely stay!

We had a great time at the villa. The best bits are the kitchen which was stocked really well, the roof terrace which had gorgeous views, the size was great and perfect for us all. It was big enough to feel like you weren’t on top of each other. Also the communication was great. No major issues, I would say it would be great to make sure the pool tiles are more secure, we collected quite a few. Also one of the bedrooms had a very loose door handle which fell off a few times. All quite minor and didn’t affect our stay. The location is great. We drove easily around and even for Uber eats one time which was great. Thank you for a great week

we arrived and we were blown away with the garden.The rooms were spacious,beds were comfy and clean and good location within the house.Th epictures do not do this villa justice.It was serene and private ! The pool was within view of the kitchen so we could see the kids while cooking. The cleaning service was great .We want to take the gardereners back home as they were so respectful of the guests and maintained the area so well. Lisa is amazing and approachable as was the management company. We are looking forward to having it again next year !!!

Very nice villa however some furnitures in bad conditions

Nice and Lovely villa located in Carvoeiro Club The villa comes with a swimming pool of good size (10x5m) On our arrival the cleaning of the house wasn’t done and we had to call the agent to make the person come. Overall the villa is very nice with a garden very well maintained. Now the point with this villa is the the dilapidation of furnitures and a lack of cleaning Some equipments are in a very bad state and should have been replaced, some beds bedding are very old and not comfortable No amenities are provided which appears a shortage regarding the price paid The location is excellent and the district charming and quiet

Home away from home

Full disclosure- this is the third year we have rented Lisa’s wonderful home and we had already rebooked for next Summer before we even arrived - it has become a firm favourite and there is so much to explore from this house.This year we added a couple of new vineyards to the list - Quinta dos Vales and Cabrita and I recommend adding them to Paxa, Arvad and the others we have done before - each year it’s great to see how the Algarve wine industry is leaning in to their heritage in creative and exciting ways. With the exciting theme it was also great to see all the investments into Casa Poco over the winter, the highlight of which is the new pool and terrace. In addition to this there’s a new en suite and dressing area to one of the bedrooms , a refurb of the living room and an automatic gate for the house. As before if you come go and see Wildwatch in Ferragudo - 3 years and always a highlight. O Barradas is still a fav restaurant and this year we also loved Borda do Cais in Ferragudo, Etxea and Encci in Carvoeiro and O Charneco in Estômbar which is as traditionally Algvarvian as they come - 7 courses with no choice - what ever they cook is wonderful and a bargain for 38 per person inc wine water and coffee - it’s a family affair and they’re truly lovely. This has become a home away from home and we are already looking forward to next year

Another great stay

This was our second visit to Casa Poco and we loved it again and have already booked to return next summer. The area is so peaceful but so accessible to the plethora of great restaurants and Uber is easily available if you don’t want to drive. We would recommend O Barradas ( lovely outdoor setting for dinner) , Touriga Wine and Dine, and Rolha Wine Bar. Encci in Carvoeiro is a great new spot for brunch and we will try dinner there next time. There are a number of good local vineyards to visit - Paxa is worth a stop and Arvad was a new discovery this year and was fabulous. If you like the sea and want to see wild dolphins in their natural habitat I’d thoroughly recommend WildWatch - it’s about 15mins drive and we have done trip last year and this year and seen dolphins both times and whales last year. To cover some of the previous feedback about missing tiles in the pool, these have all been replaced and it was a lovely spot to relax. Until next year 😊

Fabulous village

House is so well equipped , owner is on hand every second of the rental by email . It was a winter stay Christmas new year week , weather was glorious . Just to note there are only two en-suite there is a third bathroom but it would act as a communal bathroom for the bedroom off the dining room and the second twin bed room which is down the passage between the two suites . That is the only thing we didn’t pick up on the site . It’s fine if you have little children but 4 couples sharing it would be something you need to be comfortable with . The kitchen is FANTASTIC most well equipped rental we have had . Property is very secure and a dead easy walk to the beach and restaurants 😊

Lovely family holiday.

Our three generation family holidayed at the villa in early August and had a fab time. We especially liked the kitchen, roof terrace, courtyard and garden. It was great to have plenty of different spaces for any family member to have some private/ quiet time if required. We hired cars for the duration of our stay as the surrounding area is absolutely fantastic. However, we could not access the property at check in time as the previous holidaymakers had been allowed to stay late and the villa was still being cleaned by the fabulous Christina. The swimming pool had a number of mosaic tiles missing and subsequently a few toes were stubbed. The fourth bathroom was outside the villa, next to the pool. We could not use the egg chair as we did not feel it was safe to do so.

Unas maravillosas vacaciones!!!

Esta ha sido nuestra primera experiencia en este tipo de vacaciones, ya que siempre habíamos estado en hotel, y la verdad es que lo hemos pasado de maravilla. Hemos disfrutado al máximo de la casa, ya que es muy cómoda y tiene todo lo que puedas necesitar para disfrutar al máximo y como no, también lo hemos hecho con la piscina y los hermosos jardines. Nos ha encantado la experiencia así que la repetiremos y por supuesto la recomendamos.

Three generation holiday

Grandparents to two 17 months old, but so many different areas to hide and read a book. The pool was a big hit with the babies, so glad we had the heating option. My days were happy just there, however I was dragged to carvoeiro on a boat trip and Alvor, which were lovely. But if you need a rest just stay put in the beautiful villa.

This is my second visit to this villa and it’s amazing!

The villa is perfect! The gardens are beautiful, views and sunset from the roof terrace are stunning and our holiday was amazing!! The centre has lovely bars and restaurants which are about a 30 minute walk but taxis are available and reasonable if you don’t like walking. The beach is also beautiful. I’d definitely recommend this villa to others.

Family holiday

Myself and 5 young people had a wonderful stay at the villa . It was a great layout and the pool and roof terrace were incredible and well used by the whole family. The courtyard was a great feature and we enjoyed many evening dining at the villa and also in carvoeira. I would highly recommend a stay and hope to return in the future. Thank you Lisa for being a great host.

Wonderful

6 of us enjoyed a fabulous week at this amazing property. Lisa was helpful throughout and the house was so well equipped with tasteful decor and felt like home from home with everything you could need rather than a rented villa. . The grounds were large and well kept , good sized pool and everything was of high quality and immaculately clean. Our two families tried hard to think of any negatives and could only come up with the fact there was no olive oil salt or pepper ! And maybe a small welcome pack with milk etc would have been a nice touch but other than that, really could not fault the place and we were very happy here. The walk to town is 25 minutes to the centre and you have to go up and down a hill before getting to the cliff top but we didn’t mind walking off too much food and drink . Ubers were easy and cheap enough and we managed without a car, the local Spar supermarket being 20 min walk. All in all , a brilliant villa and I am sure we will be back, thank you very much

Excellent villa, perfect location and layout

This is our 4th time staying in a villa in Portugal and I can honestly say it was one of the best. Lisa (the owner) was so helpful right from the start and was also on hand if we had any questions. The villa housed our family of 8 for 2 weeks, we love the location as Carvoeiro Is so laid back with beautiful scenery and people. The villa’s layout was perfect, all on one level with a lovely centre courtyard for BBQs, beautiful garden and the pool was perfect. It’s the warmest pool we have ever had, our boys stayed in it all day without feeling cold. The bedrooms are all lovely, comfy beds and the bathrooms are of a hotel/spa quality. They have recently had a brand new kitchen, very modern and spacious. We can’t fault the villa at all, they even have toys and a table tennis table for the kids/adults. Thank you again Lisa for allowing us into your beautiful villa, we hope to come back again soon.
