The villa (built 2008) is located in the little village Bobovišca at the bay, which has two little shop, one restaurant with a small bar and from May 1st 2018 there is a very nice new restaurant 'Konoba Kogula' only 75 mtr from the house with view to the bay. Nearest beach is at 250 mtr walk from the house. The small open motorboat is laying in the harbour at about 100 mtr and you can take that to explore the bay and the small beaches which you of course can also do with the 2 canoes laying in front of the house. You can also find lots of lovely stone and pebble beaches all around the island Brac which you can all reach by car. Within a 45 min. scenic drive you find the beach "Zlatni Rat" (Golden Cape), which is not only the most popular beach in Croatia but also listed as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! Distances to other bigger towns on the island are about 6 km to Sutivan and Milna (which has a large marina) and 14 km to Supetar (where the ferry arrives). These towns have open-air markets, shops, restaurants, bars and banks.

About Annet Vaneker
We are a couple living in the Netherlands and we have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. We like to spend our family holidays on Brac with our children, family and friends. You can always give me a call if you need any information 0031629024760.
Annet Vaneker purchased this Villa in 2008
Why Annet Vaneker chose Bobovišća
We bought the landplot because we love the little peaceful village of Bobovisca laying in the picturesque bay where lots of sailing boats anchor in the evening. When you leave the ferry in Supertar you feel immediately at home on the wonderful green island of Brac where time doesn't fly like it does at home.
What makes this Villa unique
We enjoy the romantic diners in the evening on the terrace, cooked at the outdoor grill, looking at all the lights in the little harbour. We love to dream away laying on the sunbeds near the pool enjoying the sun and when we want to be more active we take the motorboat or the 2 canoes and explore the bay of Bobovisca and have a swim or go to the mainland for a trip by ferry to the wonderful old city of Split, or make a daytrip to the Island Hvar.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this beautifu
The villa is in a really idyllic location. We used a pre-booked transfer to travel from Split airport. We requested that the transfer waited whilst we embarked on a mammoth shop at the Lidl in Supetar. We were able to relax at the villa without a car whilst using our supermarket provisions. We hired the villa as two families with teenaged children and all enjoyed pottering about the scenic setting. We swam in the clear sea and used the boat to explore outside the cove. Marijana proved to be a very helpful local contact and the food and hospitality at her local restaurant was very special. Annet was also quick and helpful in her replies to my emails during our booking process. We would not hesitate to recommend this very well equipped and wonderfully positioned villa. Thank you for a glorious holiday.
Fabulous villa in a superb setting
The villa is set in a fantastic location just above the little fishing harbour. The local store saw us over the first couple of days with basics and then we hired a car to access local supermarkets and explore the island which is stunning. We stayed here with our 4 daughters aged 11 - 19 and they loved the pool and the freedom to wander down to the harbour in the evening. The boat was just the icing on the cake and we were able to explore the local coves and snorkel. I cannot recommend this villa enough.
Beautiful villa in a fabulous location.
This property and the surrounding area are really fabulous and we had the most wonderful time.
Travelled with three teenage children, there was plenty of space and all mod cons making it a wonderful relaxed stay. The village is really tranquil and beautiful and we enjoyed early morning walks whilst waiting for the younger contingent to wake up!
We used the house as a base to explore the island of Brac and also made several trips over to the main land which we really enjoyed.
I cannot recommend this villa enough, or Brac as a base for a fantastic holiday experience, we were very sad to leave.
Superb villa in a beautiful location
We booked this villa for a family holiday (with grandparents), 7 in total, having not travelled to Croatia previously.
Firstly, the booking process was excellent. The owners were informative throughout and quickly acknowledged payments and any other queries.
We flew into Split, took a pre booked taxi (32 euros)to Split ferry port ,then a short ferry trip to Supetar then another pre booked taxi (30 euros) to Bobavisca na moru. Really easy.
The villa is superb. Immaculately kept and clean, finished to a high standard and has everything you need. The pool and outdoor seating on the terrace provided a wonderful setting for many relaxed family evenings. Air conditioning in every room along with really comfortable beds meant a great nights sleep.
The boat !! - how fantastic. You can use the owners little motorboat moored in the harbour. Easy to operate and means you can find isolated coves and beaches - we spent hours snorkelling in the clear blue sea.
Bobavisca na moru is a truly idyllic place. There is a couple of restaurants and local shops. Sitting on the harbour side enjoying local cuisine you can watch luxury yachts sailing in and mooring up.
Great villa in a great location, the owners really have got this right !!
Superb villa and a great location
Amazing location in the middle of a authentic village, views of the harbour. Short walk to the harbour/ beach and the 2 restaurants ( which serve excellent, inexpensive food).
The villa has everything you could possibly wish for, the best one we have ever stayed in, it even has a little boat and 2 canoes. We spent hours on the water in the little boat nipping to local coves to snorkel and swim. Air conditioning in every room, it has every amenity you could think of. Amazing house keeper who's English is excellent. Great base for exploring the islands towns and villages. We fell in love with Bobovišća and the Island of Brač we will definitely be returning.
A wonderful week
House and grounds/garden/pool - wonderful, just as described, with plenty of room for outside dining and sunbathing and all elegantly furnished throughout - beds very comfy too. The pool, although small, more than adequate with the bay/harbour a short stroll away. The sea was amazing to swim in, not too salty and clear. There were a few sea urchins to watch out for, but they were easy to see and as the water becomes deep reasonably quickly they are easy to avoid. We had great fun in the kayaks & motorboat (remember to take the key on the coil from the washroom or motorboat won't stay switched on - being beginners we didn't know this !) full instructions are in the manual however. Our holiday was made exceptional by Marijiana, the young lady who showed us around, made us feel very much at home and for whom nothing was too much trouble..Marijiana a million thanks! We would definitely go again!
The villa is located near the harbour of Bobovisca (75 m), nearest beach is about 250 m walk to the sea and to the small stone jetty where you can sunbath, swim and canoe to explore beautiful coves and beaches all around.
There are lots of lovely stone and pebble beaches all around the Island of Brac (including the famous Golden Cape) you can reach by car.
The nearest airport is on the island of Brac (16 km), and since 2018 there are direct flights to Brac.
The nearest international airport is Split, 25 km distance from the port of Split, where you can take a ferry to Supertar, port on Island Brac (45 min. crossing). Bobovisca na moru is situated on the west coast of the island which takes a 15 min. drive.
As it is a small village, it is recommended to use a car to take excursions to other villages and places on the island.
The villa is situated in the little village Bobovisca na moru where are 2 little shop, 2 restaurants and a small bar. Distances to other bigger places are 7 km to Sutivan and Milna (which has a large marina) and 14 km to Supertar where you can find supermarkets, open markets, shops, restaurants, bars and banks. The island Brac is the largest island of the Central Dalmatian group of islands and one of the easiest to get to. It is also very attractive with pretty waterside towns and villages. It is covered by woods ofpines, olives, figs, vineyards, but famous for its marble, that is a heart of the island. Many buildings in the world have been built by this white stone, like White Housein Washington DC, ancient (1700 years old) and famous Diocletian palace inSplit, as many amphitheaters, temples, palaces and simple houses all over Dalmatia. Of course it is very interesting to visit the beautiful town of Split and its palace still living, but also many places on the island Brac, like the highest peak of the mountain Vidova Gora, with a restaurant and a stunning view to the other islands. One of the most beautiful pebble beaches the Golden Cape hsa stretched Brac into the sea towards the south with its half km long body and is the only natural beach in the world formed vertically to the coast and changes its shape according to the wind. The place of the special interest is also the old relatively inhospitable monastery at Blaca, from 16th century, built in stone, and partly cut in the rock. Famous for its library, portraits, paintings, collection of old rifles of Blaca seamen - used for defense of pirates, and for the first telescope in this part of Europe. In the middle of the summer season nearly every village on island of Brac organize "fiestas" with folk or classic concerts as a special entertaining program.
