This lacks context and facts of what actually occurred. The cleaning company accidentally cancelled the scheduled clean for the day of arrival. The guest arrived after 10:00 pm the day of check in and called me upon getting into the unit. I immediately answered, tried to reach the cleaning company and apologized for the situation and said, due to the late time, I am unable to reach the cleaning company, she had found a hotel at that point. I assured her the cleaning company would have it ready first thing in the morning (which they did) and I would refund her 2 nights of the 5 night stay. She checked in first thing in the morning and stayed the remainder of the stay. She continued to express that she was not making enough money on this situation and that us covering the whole hotel bill plus $75 on top of that free and clear was not enough. She later changed her story and misrepresented the cost of the hotel to VRBO to pressure to get more funds to exploit the situation. She was not stranded and I was completely and immediately available every step of the way. The owner of the cleaning company took full responsibility and have taken measures to ensure this could not happen again. This is an isolated incident that we took extremely seriously and acted immediately to assist, resolve and refund without being asked.

We discovered that there was no issue with the mattress since this was a brand new $1,000 mattress. Upon inspection it was found that a previous renter broke the base frame and was causing this impression. We have replaced this broken frame and the issue is no longer present.
