The house has four bedrooms, three full baths and one half bath. It can sleep 12 people, with bedding available for an additional 5 people upon request, so it’s perfect for that big family or group of families. It has an open floor plan with a fully functional kitchen and dining room, that has seating for 10-12 at a time. The basement still has a bar area that is unfinished, but there is a great game room for entertaining in the evening or on rainy days! The lot does have water frontage with a three finger dock available for swimming. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of mother nature and the corps of engineers in terms of the lake water level, so there are times that the ramp to the dock is not easily accessible (requires a short ferry ride using a jon boat provided) after an abnormal amount of rainfall. Nick’s Boat Dock does rent pontoons, which is an option for those without a boat, or you could head less than a mile down the road to the Axtel campground beach to enjoy a couple days of just swimming.
Full Disclosure: There are security cameras located on the perimeter of the house for monitoring the property, since this property is in a relatively rural area. These cameras are only reviewed when there has been an issue with the property or a specific group.
The home was built with our family and kids in mind, so I'm sure it will be perfect for your family and friends. There are still some small cosmetic finishing touches to be done on the interior, but none of those unfinished parts should impact your stay in any way, shape or form.
