Beautiful Cottage - 10/10
We had the most amazing couple of days, did not want to leave. The views from this cottage are just stunning. As is the cottage itself. Jean has literally thought of every little thing. We received a lovely bottle of wine and card upon arrival. The cottage layout is lovely, the large bed was super comfy. Lovely dressing table with hairdryer. Our dogs loved running around the safely enclosed garden, although the lion statue freaked them out initially lol. We were blessed with some sunny days making the views even more beautiful. We had a lovely few days of chill out time. Local woods were great walks for the dogs. We will definitely be back. Loved it. Cannot recommend this place enough :)
Stay at Bank Cottage for a weekend in September
The welcome was excellent. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating. The view from the cottage and the location of the cottage were excellent but the approach was difficult for a faint hearted driver. The cottage was well equipped and comfortably designed. The garden was very pleasant. There was an annoying smell of paraffin oil (other oil used for heating) throughout whole of our stay. I was not very happy with the shower, the temperature control was temperamental.
Overall we enjoyed the stay in the cottage.
Hi Amit, I’m very sorry your stay didn’t achieve our usual high standard.
We had the oil pipe replaced on the outside of the building and unfortunately there was a residual smell for a while that entered the kitchen through the extraction vent.
I do hope you will visit us again.
Lovely warm welcoming cottage with fantastic views
Very clean and inviting cottage, wonderful views, close to some lovely places such as Puzzle Wood.
The garden is gorgeous and the veranda is a lovely place to sit, relax and take in the views.
Nice cosy evenings spent reading and playing games..
Another fantastic trip to the Bank cottage. Absolutly perfect for a quick getaway, has everything you need and more! Took a day trip to the Abbey, local shops and restaurants which were all beautifully framed by the surrounding mountains. We look forward to our next trip there to unwind and relax.
Lovely cottage, amazing views and area. The cottage had everything we needed and also had a secure garden which was great for our dog. We’d definitely return!
The cottage was lovely and the view was amazing!
We had a lovely relaxing break- very peaceful in the cottage and we enjoyed the games available for the cottage garden: badminton, bowls etc
The Wye Valley was lovely to explore - we enjoyed puzzlewood and canoeing at Simmons Yat!
