Admirals Rest es una acogedora casa de campo adosada victoriana ubicada en el área histórica de conservación de Deal. En una bonita y tranquila calle con fácil acceso a los galardonados High Street, la playa y el transporte público, la casa está perfectamente ubicada. La cabaña está decorada en un sutil estilo costero con piezas vintage retro de origen local y pequeños toques de lujo en todas partes. Esta cabaña está bien equipada y cómoda. Cuando no esté fuera y disfrute de nuestra hermosa costa, el campo y los castillos, los huéspedes pueden relajarse con un libro de nuestra colección, ver una película en 3D y / o utilizar el wifi gratuito. Los niños pequeños pueden jugar con los juguetes, juegos y libros suministrados e incluso hay un par de microscopios para prestar. Se puede proporcionar una cuna de viaje, así como otros equipos para bebés / niños pequeños bajo petición (trona, protector de cama, tambor de cable reciclado como mesa baja, cubiertos de plástico, vasos, platos, etc.).

Long weekend in Deal

Great location, very close to the sea and the town. Also provided oat milk and vegan cake for arrival which was much appreciated. The one negative is having to pay for parking which was not mentioned on the listing.

Roomy, special place

Perfect setting in a quiet street full of lovely houses. The house was clean and smart, and plenty big enough for two couples - we could have taken friends. Everything you could need was supplied (a barbecue, and children's games - even 3D glasses for DVDs!) and it was within easy reach of the high street and the sea front. A real find. Highly recommended. Recommend The Black Douglas for breakfast, near the pier. Visit Whistable for seafood and oysters. Dover castle is great. The walk to Walmer is nice. Moretti in the high street for coffee and the little run of quirky shops this side of Union Road is fun. Howletts is an excellent zoo.

Cosy and Stylish

We enjoyed a short break here - very close to the town centre and 5mins walk to the beach. The cottage is small but nicely laid out and furnished. Very comfortable with a small back courtyard. A welcome pack of supplies and a great location to tour the area

Lovely family break!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this charming fisherman’s cottage in Deal, such a perfect find for my partner and I and our twin toddlers. The place was clean, comfy and stocked with a box of toys our girls loved. It’s a stone’s throw from the beach, and near to all amenities. We wish we’d stayed longer! Thanks Claire! 😊

Interesting Deal

Excellent visit. The cottage is conveniently placed for all areas . Coastal walks, Deal Castle and the Town. Lots of information in the cottage 're the local area ie restaurants, places to visit etc cottage had all the utensils and white goods we required. Cottage was clean, beds were comfortable .There was a large bathroom which was also clean and very functional . All rooms furnished tastefully. Altogether a lovely break would recommend to friends

Le cottage est très mignon et fonctionnel parfait pour un court séjour ou même des vacances. C'est exactement comme sur le descriptif et les photos. A notre arrivée, nous avions de très jolies attentions (déco de Noël, crackers, plus tout ce qu'il faut pour prendre un thé ou café, livres DVD...) Idéal pour visiter la jolie ville de Deal, son pier, son centre ville et les environs (Canterburry, Sandwich...). Accueil très chaleureux de Claire même si elle n'était pas sur place, elle est très facilement joignable et disponible. Just loved it and already telling all my friends about the place .Thank you very much. We really appreciated your lovely place.

Nice little cottage, great location.

A lovely property, clean and well presented. Deal itself is a great little town with everything you need on your doorstep. The only downside we found was lack of parking near the cottage (hence 4 stars). Thanks for having us!

charming coastal cottage

The cottage is ideally located close to shops and the seafront. Inside is very tastefully decorated and very clean with nice personal touches from the owner.It is also more spacious than it looks from the outside.Although there are parking restrictions outside the cottage, we did not experience any problems finding a place to move the car to. Deal itself is a lovely little town with lots of places to eat or stop for coffee.Happy to recommend the cottage for a quiet stay by the sea.

Charming cottage in Deal Kent...

We stayed at this lovely cottage whilst moving house from Deal to Scotland. We had stayed in Claire's cute little cottage in Sandwich last summer and loved it, so when I saw that she owned this holiday cottage it was a no brainer. Claire is wonderful at getting the balance right in self catering. The only complaint I have and it's minor, is the sofa in the lounge is not comfortable. Most folks will be spending their time exploring Deal to notice it, but I did. It's the kind of sofa that uni students have. Other than that, Claire is the accomplished stylist. The decor is beachy cottage and it is comfortable. Stay here you won't be disappointed!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Deal is a fantastic location for a holiday or short break throughout the seasons with its location by the sea and beautiful Kent countryside. Deal is a quaint, unspoilt British seaside town with a maritime history and with Nelson a frequent visitor. The cottage was bought due to its sought after location in Deal's historic Conservation Area. The Conservation Area is an interesting mix of Georgian fisherman cottages and Victorian cottages all painted in varying pastel shades. The cottage is on Nelson Street, a quiet street set back from Deal's interesting High Street with its independent shops, coffee shops, antique & home interior shops and local markets. The beach is only a two to three minute walk away. The residents of Deal are welcoming and you will be met by friendly smiles.

We offer free Wi-Fi and a TV with DVD player that shows 3D films. There is a Bosch Tassimo coffee machine. The IKEA integrated kitchen is recently fitted with fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a toaster and microwave. The master bed has a luxury topper for added comfort and the duvets are all a mix of goose feather and down as well as the pillows. The rooms at the front of the house are shuttered on the inside.There are even some synthetic pillows should that be your preference. If you enjoy outside space, there is a small paved courtyard with flowerpots perfect for relaxing with a coffee over the papers. There is also a Weber bbq and with a fishmongers just around the corner you could be bbqing some delicious locally sourced fish.

The cottage is in a quiet location so you can be guaranteed a relaxing stay and being so close to the centre of Deal itself you will really get a taste of coastal living..When you fancy eating out or popping out for a coffee there is a great choice of independent restaurants, coffee shops and pubs on your doorstep with new eateries all the time. Try the Deal Hoy, a maritime pub with great ales just along the road and serving the most delicious pizzas cooked outside in the wood fired oven. There are amenities including large supermarkets a two minute walk away. We love having kids & scooters for under fives. Deal is a short drive from Dover port so Deal can be easily reached by visitors from Europe.Pet-friendly too.
