We can’t recommended this property and the whole Booking process Highly enough! The flat was in a brilliant location only a short stroll into the town with parking for two cars. Beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean- we were so comfortable and cosy! We will definitely be returning! Thank you.
Lovely st ives apartment
We had a lovely stay in great apartment which was extremely comfy, spotless well equipped with great views. Definitely recommend.
Thank you to our guests. We are so glad you were comfortable in the apartment and were able to enjoy the views.

Pre Christmas break
The flat was fantastic and ideally placed for walking down to the town.
Thanks for the feedback, always welcome!
We live in Cornwall and St Ives is a great place out of season for a little break so my partner and I stayed in this property for a long weekend in November. We have stayed in several apartments in St Ives over the last few years and this has to of been the best one. It was very tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and exactly as described with beautiful bathroooms and all in all it felt like a home from home. The parking outside was ample which was a bonus and it was only a 10 minute wander down the hill into the town and harbour. A bit longer walking back up the hill but everywhere is up in St Ives ! Mark and Paula had left a nice welcome pack with tea, coffee, sugar and milk etc that we needn't of brought any so a thank you for that. It was easy sitting at the dining table looking out over the bay to Hayle Towans just watching the sea..We will definitely be returning here again. Thank you Mark and Paula..
Our thanks go to these guests for their detailed and very much appreciated review. We were glad to welcome local guests from elsewhere in Cornwall and look forward to seeing them again in the future.
St Ives Gem
We have spent numerous holidays in St Ives over the years, however this is the first time at this property. Can't praise it enough, from the contact with the owners, its location to the cleanliness of the property. Absolute gem that I would recommend to all.
Thank you to our guests for such a lovely review. Its great to receive such positive feedback.

About Mark Shelley
Hello, my name is Paula and my husband Mark and I started visiting St Ives in November 2008 and have returned every year since. St Ives and the Cornish coast have become very special to us and we decided to try and buy a little piece of it in Autumn 2012. We were delighted to take possession of Pelennor in February 2013 and spent the next six months carefully preparing it for our first guests.
Mark Shelley purchased this Apartment in 2013
Why Mark Shelley chose Saint Ives
Pelennor is part of Porthminster Terrace, which has so many advantages, not least its proximity to one of the most beautiful beaches in England. We love the character of the apartment with its high ceilings and fabulous views to the front and back and the fact that you can enjoy all the convenience of being in St Ives at the same time as being able to escape from the hustle and bustle when you want to.
What makes this Apartment unique
One of the most obvious benefits is the view in both directions; towards the 'island' with the ancient St Nicholas Chapel perched on the hill top in one direction, and Carbis Bay and the distant horizon in the other. Our apartment is equipped and furnished to a very high standard, being brand-new in August 2013. Finally, to find a property in St Ives town with one parking space would have been a challenge - we have two!
