Alerce Cottage es un granero de 2 dormitorios recientemente reconstruido moderno, con una preciosa zona abierta de estar, cocina bien equipada, patio y zona de jardín además de que tendrá el uso de la pista de tenis del propietario.

El bonito jardín privado, tiene su propia puerta directamente a Chailey Común, reconocida por su brezal, fauna, y los restos de trincheras de formación WW1.

Chailey está en el corazón de Sussex, a poca distancia de muchas atracciones locales (Lewes, South Downs, Bluebell Railway, Brighton, Ashdown Forest, Sheffield Parque. Y mucho más). Hay un montón de paseos cerca y numerosos pubs para disfrutar! Varias playas están a 45 minutos en coche.

El granero está bien equipada, incluyendo calefacción por suelo radiante, lavadora / secadora, lavavajillas, Smart TV y wi-fi. Obra de arte de artistas locales se exhibe en las paredes, y algunas de las obras están disponibles para comprar.

Tiene capacidad para 4, ideal para dos adultos y dos niños, aunque hay espacio para una cuna también. Hay una habitación doble y una habitación doble.

El granero es por un camino privado de la A272. Es bien situado detrás de la carretera.

A lovely relaxing week spent here.

We enjoyed a lovely relaxing week here which is exactly what we hoped for. The garden was perfect. Plenty of wildlife to see and enjoy. Fiona and Andrew made us feel comfortable and at home.

We had a great time at the cottage. The size is perfect for a 4-member family. The hosts are super welcoming and helpful. If there should be any problem, just ask and it will be solved. The Check-in was easy and perfectly prepared. Also the kitchen items were appropriate. You can even bake a cake. Everything is there. Also the tips in the welcoming folder were great. We used them a lot! We would stay there again any time.

lovely cottage in the countryside

the property was clean and tidy and the owners are lovely . a very special place to stay and get away from the hustle and bustle of normal working life, enjoyed every day and will go back soon.

Fantastic Property

What a fantastic property. Perfect for the my wife and I and 2 boys 9 and 16. The location is excellent, Brighton and Eastbourne easily accessible, and we took a trip to Thorpe park. The cottage is fully equipped and immaculate, even provisions supplied for when we arrived. This cottage will suit active and non active people, we all loved the tennis court, table tennis and darts provided fun in the evenings. A walk on the Common behind the cottage is a must. It is so serene in the garden. We loved the rabbits on the field leading to the property. I cant recommend this property enough. Great hosts and perfect property. Thanks

A comfortable house in beautiful setting

Andrew and Fiona were great hosts, friendly and welcoming and not obtrusive. Larch Cottage is brilliantly located for exploring Sussex- coast, Downs, Forest and more. Clean- well spotless. Comfortable and extremely well equipped. The walk in shower is ideal of those with mobility needs. Garden is quiet and leads into delightful common. Could not recommend more highly.

Lovely cottage!

We had a great week away in this beautiful barn conversion, situated in a really pretty spot in Sussex. The property was lovely, bright and clean and the hosts, who are very friendly and helpful, are close by if there are any problems.

A great place to stay

Hidden in the back corner of their property this Vacation Cottage is a beautiful retreat from the real world. Fiona and Andrew are great hosts and will go out of their way to ensure your stay is a memorable one. Inside the cottage, Andrew has prepared a detailed booklet explaining how everything in the unit works, including reviews and instructions to find the local pubs, tourist destinations, and the train system. It is a great resource and you should take the a few moments to read it. If you are returning to the property in the early evening, you will be greeted by rabbits as they gingerly run in the grass along the drive way. This is a beautiful quiet spot, it is relatively easy to find, and it is along a nice road that will take you to the motorways. I highly recommend this vacation let if you are travelling and staying in the Southern UK, located only 30 minute drive from Brighton to the south, Crawley to the east and London about 90 minutes to the north. It is a centrally located property to start your day from with all the sites a short drive away. Thank you Fiona and Andrew for letting us stay in your Vacation Cottage. Fiona greeted us when we arrived and left us a wonderful chocolate cake for us to enjoy. As I mentioned earlier, it is a quiet retreat from the real world and a beautifully kept property that you are more then welcome to enjoy. Graham and Lisa

Comfortabele bungalow

Ideale ligging om streek te verkennen en vanuit het huisje over de 'commons' te wandelen. Spijtig genoeg hoor je het lawaai van de straat in de tuin. Tuin zelf is wel aangenaam en bungalow heeft voldoende comfort. Vriendelijke gastvrouw.

Relaxing Sussex cottage

Einfach super!!

Ganz nette Besitzer, alles wie im Inserat beschrieben. Tennis und Tischtennis stehen zur freien Verfügung. Absolut traumhaft um zu entspannen und abzuschalten. Mit Kindern sehr zu empfehlen. In dem Häuschen fehlt es an nichts!

Ideal for our family

Ideal location for us, grandparents, son and 10 year old grandson, for our visit to East and West Sussex from Eastbourne to Portsmouth to see family and friends. Larch Cottage was modern, clean, comfortable and with everything we needed. Fiona couldn't have been more helpful, especially with laundry, food and wonderful chocolate cake. We wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights!

Excellent accomodation with a neat and tidy enclosed garden

Enjoyed our stay which was helped by our welcome from Fiona and the thought she had put in to the items left in the accomodation eg cereals, milk, tea, coffee, bread etc as well as a delicious chocolate cake. The garden had direct access to Chailey Commons on which I enjoyed a lovely walk every morning. The property was ideally located for what we wanted to do which was visiting gardems, National Trust properties etc and we never travelled more than twenty miles from the property. A most enjoyable holiday.

Lovely new cottage in a peaceful area

This is a new superb 2-bed cottage, with underfloor heating and a powerful shower room! We all had a lovely stay and the landlord was very helpful, providing a few basic items on arrival including a yummy cake for the kids. The cottage is near a Common, great for walks.

Wunderschönes Cottage

In diesem tollen Cottage verbrachten wir 10 entspannte Tage im Herbst. Es ist ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Brighton, Seven Sisters und London. Das Haus grenzt direkt an ein Naturschutzgebiet, welches man vom Sofa bzw. der Terasse aus beobachten kann. Unser Highlight war der Tennisplatz, der mitbenutzt werden durfte. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Fiona und Andrew sind super nett und hilfsbereit und haben uns sehr gute Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Dear Fiona and Andrew, thank you for having us.

The cottage is owned by Fiona and Andrew Robson and is situated on their property, but in a secluded position. We have three children aged 27 - 32, who have all now (mostly) left home, and this is a relatively new project for us. We built the barn in 2014, welcomed our first guests in 2015, and are enjoying receiving our many visitors who come from all over the world.

We also love to know a bit about our guests before the arrive. Please do tell us, for example, why you are visiting Sussex when you make your enquiry.
