Any questions or concerns were immediately addressed by Royal Destinations...they are very easy to work with and value their customers. The beach is less crowded than other areas, Easy access to pool. Many restaurants close by. Can't say enough good things about Pura Vida!

This is our second time staying in this community and this house was definitely the superior rental. The location to the pool and beach can't get any better for the price point. The back porch of the house is right on the boardwalk to the beach; there are no streets to cross, and the boardwalk is one of the quicker paths to the beach. The unit was clean, well stocked, and had plenty of space for everyone in our party, which consisted of 6 adults and 3 kids, ages 9, 5 and 4. The walk to the pool and beach was especially easy with the kids. There is no golf cart with this unit, which we had in the prior year, but it's so close that we didn't need it. Quite frankly, I enjoyed the walks this year. Management was also very communicative during the week. The only small issue we had was that they disabled the key pad before check out time when we still had some small items left inside. Management was apologetic and resent a code but it wasn't working, so we decided to just leave since the items were insignificant (coffee, leftover food, etc.) We had a great week and will definitely be renting this unit in the future!

The entry code for the house was inactivated before I had completely checked out and my Keurig coffee pot with a bag of coffee pods was still inside. I had a sick daughter-in-law that I was in a hurry to get back to Nashville so I did not take the time to contact Royal Destination. I thought when I got home and called to explain the situation, they would forward these items to me. I felt that it was their responsibility since I was locked out 20 minutes before checkout time. To date this has not happened and I am disappointed. But I loved the house and the location.

We usually stay in Seacrest/Rosemary, but have found it to be too crowded lately. The beach entrance was so close to the house and the view from the boardwalk crossing the dunes was just breathtaking. Best of all, the beach was so quiet and there was so much space to spread out!! The house itself was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The beds were super comfortable and the decks were also great. We would definitely come back to this house.

Our favorite location along 30A; not too far from any restaurant or attractions. The Watersound community is so nice and offers just a short walk over the Dunes to beach access. The house was amazing.

Royal Destinations responded quickly to any concern we had. Housekeeping could have been a bit better. The only downside was our rentals through Rent Gear Here (Vacayzen). Bikes were in terrible shape (one was delivered with a flat tire wagon would not go straight). And they picked up part of our order a day early and would not consider any type of refund. We would definitely recommend Pura Vida and Royal Destinations... Just be careful who you rent (bikes, wagons, etc) from.

This was a good property. Once again as we have found in other houses, the gas grill was working. I wish these owners would just have charcoal grills. Everyone knows how to use one and they’re never broken! We had a few little problems but property management took care of them very quickly.

It is very well located; close to the pool and right on the beach boardwalk. It is extremely spacious and has great storage areas, closet space, and drawers. The kitchen is absolutely fabulous and chock full of cooking utensils and serving pieces. You won't need to bring a thing! We enjoyed the beautiful views from the top floor and wonderful meals on the screen porch. We would definitely return for a future stay. The only challenge we ran into was the absence of window coverings on some of the 2nd floor bathroom windows which were needed for privacy. Also, the grill didn't work during our stay. Overall, it is an incredibly nice house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pura Vida was a great house for our family vacation. The location is fantastic, right on a boardwalk and a short walk to the ocean. The house is also just one street over from the Dunesider pool which was also convenient since the house does not have a private pool. This house was one of the most well supplied houses that we have ever rented in Watersound. Plenty of dishes, glassware, and everything you need to prepare a meal. The house was very clean when we checked in and there were very few non-critical maintenance issues which were responded to immediately by the Royal Destinations team. Royal Destinations was also very helpful and professional in helping us to move our rental week due to the Covid uncertainties leading up to our scheduled week. The house was spacious and easily accommodated our large family. Looking forward to staying here again for a future trip to Watersound.
