Wonderful Stay

Our family had a stay at the Chalet Fortuna. The views are just spectacular. The property is well kept and has all the amenities that are needed. The location is great, just a short walk to the Coop and train station. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful Chalet with a Spectacular View

We loved this chalet and location. The view from the patio is breathtaking. The location is in a very quiet area just outside of town. You can easily hike to Lauterbrunnen from this location. Also, take the tram (in the center of the town) up to Mannlichen for the best view of the Alps.

Great view, nice, comfortable apartment

The views of the mountains are so beautiful. The apartment is a convenient location, spacious, well equipped, very clean and has comfortable furniture and beds. There are two outdoor area - the large patio and a large balcony. The staff at Wengen apartments is so nice and easy to deal with. Any little request was looked after very quickly. We will definitely stay again next year! The furniture on the balcony could use replacing.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this location in Wengen. Property was great and well equipped and it was easy to do meals for our family. There was a grocery store easy walking distance away. Views from the patio of the Alps were amazing. Would easily come back to this location again if we make our way back to Switzerland in the future. Thanks!

Comfortable Stay with Lovely Views

My husband and I came with two other couples to experience Switzerland, and used Wengen as our home base. Fortuna 2 was the perfect choice for us. Everything in the home was clean, the furniture and beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with plates and cups, etc. This is the main level of the building, but still the views…were stunning!!

Fantastic apartment with amazing view

Very comfortable apartment with all you need. Location is very convenient with a 3 min walk to the train and supermarket. Beds are new and comfortable and plenty of seating in the living room. All in all: great apartment! There is a need to reconsider the lighting in the livingroom and above the dining table.

Awesome, luxurious, functional and well located chalet.

Awesome, luxurious, very functional and very well located chalet with a view to die for. In addition, Outstanding and prompt service and support from Julie too. This was my second stay and was equally joyus. WiFi this time was a big let down :-( Have not reflected at all in my ratings but it was a inconvenience whenever we had to use internet.

Beautiful stay!

We loved this chalet! Extremely clean and looks very new. All the comforts. Short walk to train station. Not really thrilled with check out process. Stripping the beds, loading the dishwasher and starting it, and deciphering the disposal of trash and recycling goods were time consuming when trying to leave to catch an early train. Would highly recommend!

We Loved Chalet Fortuna 2

We loved everything about Chalet Fortuna 2 & our dealings with Julie Doyle, owner of Wengen Apartments. Julie promptly responded to all communications & the rental process was efficient & seamless. This is the second apartment that we rented through Julie while in Wengen and we couldn't be more happy with our choices. Chalet Fortuna 2 is perfect for 3 couples and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The apartment was spotless, nicely decorated, had comfortable beds, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The views were amazing, especially while enjoying a glass of wine on the deck and the apartment is conveniently located. We could easily walk to the train station, cable car, grocery store and to the center of Wengen for the many wonderful restaurants & stores. We highly recommend Wengen Apartments for your rental needs & the apartment Chalet Fortuna 2!

Another Wonderful Stay

We stayed in this lovely condo in 2018 and enjoyed it so much we've been wanting to return. Our recent return visit was equally enjoyable. The condo is in a great location, only about a 3-minute fairly level walk from downtown Wengen, providing easy access to grocery store, bakery, and train station, as well as many walking paths. The condo is modern, very well equipped and furnished, and quiet. Incredible views from the LR, Master BR, balcony, and terrace. We had some questions about appliance operations, and Julie, the rental agent, came over in 10 minutes to help us. Amazingly responsive! All in all, a wonderful stay in a lovely unit! Highly recommended!

Comfortable apartment with stunning view

The apartment is very comfortable and spacious. The bedrooms/beds are really nice, with 3 bathrooms (2 are small but still provide everything you need). Very practical with washing machine and dryer. Large sun terrace. Most of the kitchen equipment is available. Great location with easy access from the train station. To summarise: fantastic place to stay! -

Best stay ever!

We stayed at this place and had the most comfortable stay ever. This place was on the main floor so no hassle of the stairs. The views from the patio and the chalet were breathtaking. It gave us with more supplies than we needed and made our stay so memorable. Definitely going back and staying at the same property!

Alpine Dream

Perfection is really hard to come by, but Fortuna 2 manages to do it. Julie was so helpful with all the necessary information and directions. We kept having to ask ourselves if this place was real. It was comfortable, beautifully equipped, and in a convenient location. We also really appreciated the fact that there are three full baths. But the view! To be greeted each morning by the view from out patio was a dream come true. We enjoyed breakfast there and also wine and snacks after a day of hiking and exploring. We are already planning a return trip.

Great place to stay in Wengen

Chalet Fortuna was a perfect place to stay in Wengen. The apartment is very clean and modern and is located a short walk from the train station. If we return to Wengen, we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful chalet in Wengen!

We loved our stay at Chalet Fortuna 2. It was a perfect space for our family. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful patio looking at the view. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and found the beds to be very comfortable. A perfect location.

A great apartment in an excellent location

Six of us stayed in this lovely apartment for a week in July, and all of us were extremely pleased with our stay. The apartment is light and airy, the furnishings are lovely, and the kitchen is unusually well supplied for a rental unit. We cooked most of our meals here, and were very pleased with the appliances and utensils available. The washer and dryer were easy to use and functioned well. One of the things we liked best about the unit is its location: It is close to the grocery store and train station, and the walkway to them is almost level, which is unusual in a hill town such as Wengen. After a day of hiking, one does not want a trip to the store to be a chore, and this location ensures that it is not. Everything, including the wi-fi, worked well. A bonus is the outdoor patio with a dining table, which was a pleasant place to eat dinner when the weather cooperated. The rental agent was very well organized and helpful. We greatly enjoyed our stay in Fortuna 2 and would happily rent this unit again!
