Located directly opposite Speightstown boardwalk with magnificent and unobstructed sea views, this garden apartment is beautifully furnished and just footsteps away from Sand street beach. It is within walking distance to all of local businesses and attractions in Speightstown, including several great eateries.

This sun drenched studio apartment has an open plan living area which flows to the picturesque sea views with an intimate garden area which is ideal for your morning coffee or tea. French doors allow easy access to the garden which looks out across the boardwalk to which you have exclusive use. The living area is equipped with a ceiling fan however the entire space is serviced with air conditioning unit. There is a small kitchenette area equipped with a 4 burner gas stove and microwave.

No-cost on-street parking in the vicinity is typically available. However, if public transportation is of more interest, the area’s bus terminal/bus depot is within a convenient short walk.

Had a wonderful time! The patio view was beautiful and the location was great! The place was clean. If you are planning on cooking a lot the kitchen is small, but was perfectly fine to make coffee and do a few quick meals.

The apartment was perfectly situated in the center of the town close to all amenities as well as the beach. The host and the liasion person were both wonderful and communication was extremely helpful and attentive. We would return in a heartbeat, hopefully soon enough! Location, location, location! This is perfect for a centrally located accommodation, the most incredible view of the sea, a stones throw away from bus stop, local bakery, restaurants, bars and shops. You could not wish for a better place to base yourself. Heywoods beach is my favourite in Barbados and it’s minutes away. Excellent host and communication was fantastic from start to finish. Thank you, and we will be back.

A lovely centrally located ground floor apartment!

We had to visit Barbados recently for a funeral and needed to be near family members in Speightstown so were very lucky that this lovely centrally located apartment was available for us. Nadia and her mum, Barbara were very accommodating, friendly and helpful and we would have no hesitation in recommending their properties to friends and family!

The hostess was very accommodating, I ask about a blow dryer & a new one was waiting in the box for me. If you want to experience the local community, this is perfect. I walked to local shops, restaurants & the grocery stores. Everything is right there. Would definitely rent again.,

Perfect location

Great little apartment in a perfect location for anyone wanting the sights and sounds of the stunning Caribbean Sea without the touristic overwhelm of resorts and overpriced restaurants on the doorstep. Local supermarket, bakery, bars and low key restaurants offered all we needed to enjoy beautiful Barbados. We swam from the adjacent beach, walked to the gorgeous Heywoods Beach and toured the north and east of the island in our rental car - parking just across the road. Would have like the apartment to be a little cleaner but the setting outwieghed any concerns. Beach towels provided and watched a humming bird while having mornkng coffee on the pretty patio garden

Pros Very good access to the beach Very good access to transportation Quiet area The basic essentials were provided. Cons The cable never worked The WiFi was unreliable The place had a musty smell. Probably wasn't occupied for some time. The buildings in the immediate area are run down so the general aesthetic is not the most pleasant to the eye. The bed was small. A full size not Queen sized. Ok for a single person. Overall, its fine if you're on a really tight budget but I most likely wouldn't stay there again.

Some Conveniences lacking

Apartment needs updating . No electric outlets in bathroom to run hair dryer or curling iron. Freezer broken in refrigerator- so no ice. View of the ocean & patio blocked by broken storm power stutter- repaired on 2nd day. A coffee pot should be provided . 2 TV’s were very nice. Staff was very helpful & prompt. Air conditioning worked well . Secure locks provided . Ocean view very good. Place is clean. No street signs or house numbers - makes places difficult to find . Island people extremely nice & helpful.

Loved this place so much, I delayed my flight home and stayed longer! Even though it’s in Speightstown, it is very quiet. The sea is right at the end of the garden. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Short walk to the bus station. Couldn’t have asked for a better place. Also very clean and comfortable.
