Beautiful sea view!

The view was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine in the evening outside. The fridge was well stocked with good food and the potato casserole and lemon cake was delicious! However, we had some ants in the master bath but ant spray took care of that. The mattresses are squeaky and perhaps need to be changed. The communication with Ioniam is excellent. He responds quickly and give recommendations for dinner. Lovely stay!

An Amazing Stay in Santorini

Our trip to Santorini was prior to a Mediterranean cruise so we only had a few days to explore. The house, the host, Ioakeim, and the area were perfect for our purposes. We had travel issues and needed transportation, Ioakeim, immediately stepped in and provided what we needed, reservations for dinner were made for us within minutes and we were treated like longtime friends. An egg and potato omelet pastry and a lemon cake were homemade by Ioakeim’s mom and left for us which made for a lovely breakfast for a couple of days without having to worry about food. Bottled water, fruit, eggs and a lovely bottle of wine were also provided. This helped us soo much! The property was beautiful with access to a rocky entrance to the Mediterranean and the area was peaceful after visiting the crowded bustling city. I highly recommend!! The house has everything needed and any transportation requirements please use the Santos Wings company which has info listed in the house. We had the most amazing driver, Yiannis who drove us everywhere all week at a moment’s notice…helped me with a delayed bag by communicating with airport people in Greek and had amazing recommendations to a beach club on the south side of the island. All in all, this was the best place for me and my family. Thank you for all of the kindness and hospitality! ❤️ We loved Santorini and the villa!

Gorgeous Place

The place is beautiful. You must plan to stay at the residence for a few days to enjoy. It is next to the water, easy to get to. The host made every arrangement we needed! The refrigerator was stocked well with everything we could need. He also made a cake and a potato dish for us. He delivered a jar of fig jam during our stay, which was delicious. The place is centrally located between Oia and Fira which was fantastic. I will definitely be back.

Really special place

We loved this house. It's a little tight as the third bedroom is a loft (NOT for the elderly), but that's more than compensated by the huge and beautiful gardens, the beautiful outdoor seating, and the waves breaking just at the bottom of the garden. After the crowds of Santorini it was really special to come back to this perfect retreat.

Serene Location, Beautiful Sunrises

Akeim was our Host and he was fantastic. He made sure we were well taken care of upon arrival with a refrigerator filled with items to last us a couple days. His family made us a traditional Greek Quiche and a Cake which was very good. This place offers you a very private experience inside or outside of the home, while still being within 15 minutes driving from Oia or Fira. Definitely a place to consider for your trip to Santorini. Thanks to Akeim and his Family for wonderful stay.

Best rental property ever! Thank you Ioakeim!

Amazingly perfect villa for our week in Santorini! It’s a beautiful accommodation with the most fabulous of views. So beautiful that we found ourselves taking way too many photos of the sea and sun rises from the villa. Truly so beautiful that it’s hard to describe its stunning intensity. And the absolute highlight of renting the villa is that it comes with Ioakeim – the most attentive and caring host of any property we’ve ever rented. Ioakeim is just as described in the many positive reviews on this site. He met us at the villa upon arrival, shared a light lunch, a stocked refrigerator, breads, and fresh fruits and vegetables. The villa was spotless. Totally equipped with our every need. Ioakeim was prepared to help us plan our excursions, just as he promised during our preplanning for the trip. Not only did he connect us to our preferred excursions, Ioakeim connected us with the two most awesome drivers one could imagine. Mario and Mike were unbelievably timely, kind, and helpful. They drove us every day and we left as friends. When we return to the beautiful Island of Santorini – I’ll stay at Ioakeim’s villa again. He is so thoughtful, insightful, inclusive, caring, and an all-around great guy. We are glad to have him as our new friend and will forever be grateful for the best accommodations and host ever! Perfect quiet hideaway

This property is simply amazing, I cannot say enough about it! The views are stunning, the location very quiet and away from all the tourists and the home itself is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked and there are plenty of areas to sit outside to enjoy looking and listening to the waves. The pictures on the site are all accurate. Ioakeim, the host, met us at the property upon arrival and had a delicious egg/potato breakfast dish and cake waiting for us (made by the hands of his mother!). Our party tore into both as we were starving after long travels. Ioakeim is very friendly and the 2 younger adults in my group thought he was very handsome! He had the refrigerator stocked with drinks, sandwich meat/cheese, bread and fruits/veggies which was much welcome because there is not a supermarket within walking distance. He also will arrange a rental car if you desire however we chose not to drive anywhere because we didn’t feel comfortable driving in foreign country. So if you need to go to a supermarket or into town, be prepared to pay taxi fares , which are a bit more expensive on Santorini than in Athens. I definitely recommend this property and hopefully I will have the pleasure of renting again in the future!

My sister and I had a fabulous experience. The property was lovely! The owner went above and beyond our expectations. The refrigerator was stocked with eggs, cheese, sandwich meats, wine, beer, soft drinks including homemade casserole and cake. Anything we requested was supplied and he helped us with all arrangements and reservations. The property was exquisite. The photos do not do it justice. We hope to be back and we will definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Santorini Paradise

Pictures did not do justice to this amazing property! Our host greeted us upon arrival and efficiently walked us through what would be our “Santorini home” for the next week. The home was immaculate, up to date with all amenities, had an AMAZING shower and outdoor grounds that can only be experienced to fully appreciate this little slice of heaven on Earth! Our host had a fully stocked refrigerator with fruit, vegetables, cheeses, bread, Greek salad and even beer and wine! His mother had even baked a local flavor cake that sat impressively under a glass dome on the kitchen table! It was simply the best experience ever!

Amazing villa, great location, fantastic host!

Aronia Villa is in a great location; on the other side of the Island from the Caldera, but nonetheless, perfectly situated right next to a quiet bay, with amazing views of the morning sunrise and as peaceful as you could want. As Santorini is a relatively small Island, by car, Aronia Villa is just 15 minutes from the airport; Oia 20 minutes away, Fira 20 minutes away and Parissa which has a great family beach, 30 minutes away. The outside areas of the villa are really impressive and the large size hot-tub was perfect for cooling off and entertaining 2 young children and a teenager. Ioakeim, the host was really kind and helpful, providing assistance when arranging taxis for our wedding and to and from the airport and also, he and his family also stocked the fridge prior to our arrival which meant that we had food available to us after a long days travelling from the UK. As a Homeaway host, he doesn't need to do this, but these extra touches really are appreciated. The Island of Santorini, with its Caldera views is magical and we could not have hoped to have had a better setting for our wedding. Thanks to Ioakeim and his great Villa, this helped our week in Santorini to be perfect. Thanks Ioakeim!

A 10 star host and property!

The owner and host greeted us at the property and gave us a map of Santorini highlighting the activities and restaurants. His mother had prepared lunch for us- Greek salad, a Greek omelette, bread and a homemade orange cake. The refrigerator was stocked with eggs, fruit, veges and more. What a welcome ! He was the best personal concierge - getting reservations for sunset , organizing a day cruise, and a car rental. The property itself was spectacular with a view of the water, the sound of the water, and a couple steps away from the water. The house was immaculate and comfortable. I appreciated the electric converters in the rooms especially as I forgot mine. The WiFi was good . We enjoyed laying on the lounge chairs and watching the sunrise daily. Everyone talks about the Santorini sunset but the sunrise from the villa was even better-serene and beautiful. The jacuzzi helped rejuvenate us after a long day around Santorini. We have stayed at many properties and never felt so pampered. Highly, highly recommended.

A Santorini Dream

Only one word can explain this property and our experience at this property: AMAZING!!!! First, Ioakim took care of us from beginning to end. His food and beach recommendations were spectacular! He arranged a private sunset sail for us! He helped us bring in baggage and return to our car. Second, the property is spectacular. We watched the sun rise every morning and we sipped wine while watching the moon. Our kids had their own space and could sleep comfortably and without noise. The hot tub is great at night but then cools during the day as a refreshing dip after sun bathing. Finally, the house is centrally located making it 10 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from Oia, and 30 minutes from some of the great beaches. You would be crazy to stay anywhere else.

An experience of a lifetime!

The property is one of the loveliest places I've ever stayed. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood on a cliff by the ocean. The view is breathtaking with one of the most beautiful sunrises to see. It is impeccably simple and clean - just what you need for a relaxing vacation. The outdoor lounging is superb for sunbathing as well as dining. As much as I loved the house and the location, by far the best aspect of this place is the people. Ioakeim and his family ensure that you feel at home here. They load the refrigerator with homemad​​​e dishes, fruits, and drinks, so upon your arrival​,​ you are greeted with traditional Greek foods. He made our arrangements for ​​car hire, dinner reservations with a sunset view, and spent quality time with all of us laying out a map of the island with his handwritten notes of his own favorite places. He provided us with his number and was always available for questions or concerns (such as getting your Doblo stuck in a ditch):). He made us a part of his family while on the island and made our experience in Santorini one we will never forget.

A very enjoyable week on a beautiful property.

We are so glad we chose to stay at Aronia Villa while visiting Santorini. The property was beautiful and spacious, the house immaculate, and our host went above and beyond in his efforts to make our stay memorable. We especially enjoyed the quiet mornings watching the sun come up and listening to the ocean waves hitting the shore. A truly peaceful, private and enjoyable experience; close to all the sites while allowing us to get away from the crowds.

Above average exceptional!

We have a tendency to rent exceptional properties, but this one goes a step beyond even! The property itself is perfect, away from the commercialism of Oia and yet close enough that you can easily go there if you wish (a car is a must unless your goal is to solely relax away from it all). Easily fits 6 adults with room to spare, the small soaker pool is ideal for 4 adults and a great spot to cool down in the heat of day, or relax in the tepid warmth at night! What truly separates this from the other exceptional properties are the hosts. The completely arranged for our stay, from pickup to drop off, to car rental. Our fridge was well stocked (a Surprise!), and a traditional Greek breakfast omelet prepared for the next day breakfast even. They gave a beautiful bottle of local wine, olives from the family grove, “Mom” even baked a cake for our dessert! You truly feel welcomed and it feels like coming home, right from the start. Drop your shoes off and relax right from the moment you walk-in the door. The property is beautiful, the amenities complete and well cared for. This truly is an oasis away from stress and a great, quiet base from which to launch whatever exploration of Santorini you desire. Outdoors is a perfect table on the property edgewhere you can enjoy dinner or breakfast on the edge of the sea with the sounds of the waves lapping on shore. Or choose a spot on the patio by the home. The views are spectacular! I would highly recommend this rental and hope to return again soon!

Abbiamo soggiornato con un’altra coppia di amici. Casa e panorama splendidi! Tutto in perfetto ordine e pulitissima. La cordialità e la disponibilità del proprietario sono stati impareggiabili. Ci ha fatto trovare anche il pranzo pronto e il frigorifero fornito di yogurt, succhi, acqua, verdura e frutta. In tanti anni che prenoto su homeaway è la prima volta che mi capita. Siamo stati tutti molto contenti. Peccato che lo sciopero dei traghetti del 30 maggio ci abbia fatto soggiornare un giorno in meno di quelli prenotati.

Beautifully maintained with excellent attention to details. Ocean front, peaceful and comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! Santorini would not have been the same without experiencing the island from this villa. We loved being away from the crowds in solitude with peaceful, beautiful views of the ocean. Relaxing in the hot tub, dining with the ocean breeze as well as the comforts of great bedding, spacious rooms and fully equipped kitchen made this villa extraordinarily the best place to stay in Santorini. And not only was the property perfect in every way, you will find the host, Akis to be knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating to help with your itinerary, reservations, and the must see things about the island. He and his family go above and beyond by providing home made delicious dishes, a stocked refrigerator, drinks and even a bottle of wine for our stay. I wish I could give this villa a 10 star rating because it’s everything awesome and a whole lot more. We will be back and Akis is a friend for us in Santorini :)

Amazing hospitality in a perfect setting

Short version: If you find availability for this property, book it immediately - you will have no regrets! Long version: My family and I can not say enough good things about Aronia Villa and our stay there. We booked the property for a five-night stay in late April for a group of 5 adults and 2 toddlers. We were blown away when we arrived to the property - the pictures in the listing look good, but it's even more amazing in person. Owner Iokeim met us at the property to show us around and helped unload and carry in our luggage. He surprised us with a fridge fully stocked with fresh food and a delicious Greek pastitsio made by his mother. That warm welcome set the standard for the rest of our stay. Iokeim offered great recommendations of activities for us to do and went out of his way to help us book a tour guide for ancient Akrotiri, made restaurant reservations, and helped us arrange a catamaran tour. He was easy to get in touch with and eager to ensure everything on our trip went smoothly. Aronia Villa was the perfect size for our group.and offered everything we could have needed: a full kitchen, an outdoor kitchen, plenty of parking for multiple vehicles, multiple outdoor dining areas, and plenty of closet space. If there was anything we needed at all, Iokeim was only a quick phone call away. The villa is in an ideal location for peace and quiet next to the sea and is only a short drive from the villages lining Santorini's caldera. We absolutely loved our stay at Aronia Villa and Iokeim played a big part in ensuring we had truly memorable vacation in Santorini. This is a trip we would love to repeat in the future and we will definitely stay here again when we return to the island.
