Lovely house in wonderful setting

Really lovely house with everything you could need for a happy holiday. We had breakfast on the little roof terrace surrounded by birdsong and the sound of goat bells. Village is so pretty with great shop and little bakery. Good restaurants and people are very welcoming and friendly. excellent little bus service to Soller with drive through orange and lemon groves. Owners Mimia and Jose were great. Highly recommend

Just returned from a great short break in this beautiful house in Fornalutx . The position is very good and you can be in the square within 2 minutes and yet far enough away that it's not too busy. Very well equipped house with everything you need and great hosts who welcome you and then let you get on with your holiday but you know they are only 20 minutes away if needed all in all a great place to stay .

Wonderful stay in this charming place

We had a wonderful stay in this charming place. The apartment lies literally in the middle of Fornalutx, one of the most beautiful villages of Mallorca. It is just a few steps away from the placa, where you find everything you need (small grocery store, pharmacy, ATM, bakery). Fornalutx offers a few nice cafes and restaurants, so there is all you need in walking distance. There is a parking space close by, so although you cannot drive right next to the house you easily find a spot. Also, you can start some beautiful hiking tours right from Fornalutx, which we enjoyed very much! Mallorca is just beautiful in spring and definitely worth a trip. We picked some fresh oranges every day - a highlight to our three year old son! The house itself is very authentic with lots of small details. It has everything you need, including a washing machine. It lies in the middle of this cute old village in one of the prettiest streets. We actually saw that the house is printed on a few post cards and travel guides. You have to climb a few steps up there, but if you are in normal shape it's really not a problem - we even managed easily with two small children. Communication with Mimia and Jose was super easy, uncomplicated and welcoming. Thank you very much for this beautiful stay!

Das kleine Haus mitten im malerischen Dorf Fornalutx ist entzückend. Ohne Treppensteigen geht es nicht, im Haus, wie im Dorf! Das muß man wissen!! Für Wanderer kein Problem... Mimia hat das Haus mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, ein scharfes Küchenmesser wäre noch ein Wunsch !!!

Beautiful cottage

Delightful traditional casita in the heart of a picturesque mountain village. The house has everything you could need, and there are restaurants, a small supermarket and a bakery within a stone’s throw. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. A lovely spot for a tranquil getaway.

Haus mit mallorkanischen Seele

Ein sehr schönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus, eine ganz nette und unkomplizierte Gastgeberin. Wir haben das Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Treppe gehören zum Folklore und geben der Gegend eine zusätzliche Charme.

wunderbar authentische Unterkunft mit besonderem Flair

von unserer Gastgeberin wurden wir herzlich empfangen und wir haben uns sofort in ihrem liebevoll eingerichtetem Haus wohlgefühlt. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, die Betten waren sehr bequem und alles war sehr gepflegt. Die Wohnung ist zentral gelegen, für Wanderungen ein idealer Ausgangspunkt und der kleine Supermarkt in 2 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und wollen im nächsten Jahr unbedingt wiederkommen.

Aufenthalt in der Nebensaison. Haus liebevoll und komplett eingerichtet, WLAN, TV, funktionierende Elektroheizungen und sehr gute Betten. Parkplatz oberhalb des Hauses, der bekannte Dorfplatz mit den Cafes und kleinem Supermarkt unterhalb des Hauses. Beides über die typischen, breiten Steintreppen in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Wir waren zufrieden.

Beautiful property, close to centre, plenty of restaurants in Fornalutx or only a short taxi ride to Sóller.

There are many different things to do in Fornalutx, among them and one of the most appreciated is cycling, the Serra de Tramuntana is ideal to practice it. uriges, authentisches Ferienhäuschen mitten im Herzen von Fornalutx

ein wunderschönes Feriendomizil ganz im Stil dieses hübschen Bergdorfs. Alles was für erholsame Ferien gebraucht oder "vielleicht gebraucht" wird ist vorhanden. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Vermieterin Mimia war sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Im Oktober, unserem Reisemonat, war das Touristenaufkommen zwar noch vielfach vorhanden aber super erträglich. Das Wetter perfekt für Ausflüge auf der gesamten Insel. Rundum eine gelungene Woche mit toller Unterkunft die ich uneingeschränkt jedem, der nach Fornalutx kommen möchte, ans Herz legen kann. Eine einzige kleine Einschränkung die man aber auch wissen sollte: um zur Wohnung zu gelangen müssen 82 Treppen (auch mit Koffern) zu Fuß überwunden werden.

Wonderful Accommodation In A Beautiful Part of Mallorca

This was our first visit to Mallorca and after spending a few days in Palma, enjoying exploring the city, we headed to Fornalutx for a different experience. Mimia met us at the house and made us feel very welcome. She gave us all the information that we needed and we felt instantly at home. The extra treats were really appreciated too. The house is very well maintained and has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The outdoor terrace is a bonus. There is no light pollution so we were able to sit on the terrace in the evening and appreciate the clear, starry skies. During the day it provided a peaceful suntrap with stunning views of the Tramuntana mountains. The village has excellent restaurants, shops, bars and cafes. We decided not to use a car on this holiday. There are lovely local walks and it was great being able to take time to relax and enjoy the scenery. I would highly recommend this holiday home and no doubt we will return again in future. Many thanks, Mimia and Jose

Es hat uns sehr gut in dem Haus von von Mimia gefallen . Alles was man braucht war vorhanden . Das Haus ist passend und geschmackvoll zum Ort eingerichtet. très bon hébergement au centre de ce magnifique village

Après un accueil très avenant dès les premiers contacts, nous avons découvert une maison pleine de charme, avec toutes les commodités et très bien située dans le village. Le village est dans une région splendide, loin du tumulte touristique mais très bien situé pour visiter l'île.

Beautiful house in Fornalutx

We had a great stay in Mimia’s house. She’s a great host and very welcoming. The house was perfect for our needs, very comfortable and also very beautiful. We particularly liked the cave like sitting room which stays lovely and cool in hot weather. The roof top terrace is lovely too, great place to eat and enjoy the sun. The beds are very comfortable and having a ceiling fan was a huge bonus as it did keep us cool in the hot weather. Would highly recommend. We definitely want to come back! Thank you Mimia! :)

Fint hus i mycket vacker by.

Vi hade en mycket bra vistelse i Fornalutx, vi upplevde bara ett problem i huset. Det var nattetid i det övre sovrummet, något litet djur höll på med något krafsande och lite sågande ljud i taket. En natt slutade detta med att något som en liten kula rullade från ena sidan till den andra sidan av taket. Det är också yttertak, så det lutar. Det gjorde att det vissa nätter var lite svårt att sova.

Herrliche Unterkunft im schönsten Dorf Mallorcas

Wunderschönes traditionelles Haus in dem kleinen Dörfchen Fornalutx. Das Haus war sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Auch zum Kochen ist alles vorhanden. Die Gastgeberin war einfach zu kontaktieren und hat uns viele hilfreiche Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben.
