About this property

Large Guest House located within the town of Fish Creek

(June, July & August require a 7 night min. stay w/Saturday to Saturday check-in/checkout)
Our home is located near the "Top of the Hill Shops" in Fish Creek. We built our home in 2016 with the intent of accommodating large or multiple families. We are conveniently located at the top of the hill on the north end of Fish Creek.
the home is within walking distance of all of Fish Creek with easy access to the Fish Creek Beach and Peninsula State Park.

The home features an open concept design with a large entertaining area as well as 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths

A floor by floor description:

First Floor:
Open concept Living Room w/fireplace, Dining Room, fully equipped Kitchen with large Island that seats 10 people as well as a large dining table. Also on the main floor you will find 2 bedrooms with full bath.

Second Floor:
Open staircase and balcony overlooking living area, two bedrooms with full bath.

Lower Level:
The lower level features a TV/Rec room as well as a 5th bedroom (bunk room) and full bath.

Outside:
We are very excited about the huge wrap around deck. The front porch is covered which wraps around to the side of the house to a sun deck. The deck is fully furnished for relaxing at the end of the day to reflect on the great day you just had in Door County. The sundeck includes two picnic tables for enjoying the afternoon sun or enjoying your meals outside.

We also have a grilling deck which hold a gas grill and grilling table.

Just off the deck we have an outdoor fire pit complete with benches.

The months of June, July & August is a 7 night minimum stay.

Bachelorette Weekend Get-A-Way

We had a good stay. We had a group of 13. Host had good communication. We appreciated being able to check in early and check out a little late! Overall, there was enough space for everyone. We liked the open concept of the main floor. However, noise carries easily to the upstairs bedrooms in the mornings when some people might still be sleeping. There was enough bath towels/hand towels/wash cloths for the couple of days that we were there. (There was two washers and two dryers in the basement.) There were plenty of kitchen dish rags and dish towels. There was plenty of kitchen plates and cups. Could use more silverware and more cereal size bowls. Some of the beds were very noisy and borderline uncomfortable. One drawback is that there are no paper products provided. When we got there, there was remnants of toilet paper and a remnant of paper towel. We have stayed at many rental houses and have never encountered that before, especially for the price per night. One other note, is that the exterior front stairs can be challenging for people with mobility issues, particularly in winter. Overall, it was a good stay with no major issues.

We had 8 people stay with us and of those 8, 2 teenagers. The house was great for that amount of people and you could probably have a few more. The open concept floor plan was great for games. The fireplace was really nice. The location was perfect, walking distance to the top of the hill shops. If you wanted the ones more downtown, that was about a 20 minute walk. There are a few updates that could be made to the house with carpeting and beds. It was clean and very nice! I would stay here again if in the area.

Terrific place to satay. We had 8 adults and 2 teens. Five very generous bedrooms. Four with queen beds and a twin bed in each. One BR in basement with bunk beds and an adjacent den, perfect for the teens. Three very large bathrooms. Living room, dining area and kitchen with large island are perfect for groups. Walkable to most places in Fish Creek. Could not have been better for a family get together for a special birthday. Might match it but doubt you can find better.

We had an amazing stay at the Lawler guest house! We celebrated my grandmothers 80th birthday and it was the perfect size for 12 of us to stay. Greg and Dan were very quick to respond to our questions. The house was stocked with glasses, pots, pans etc which made it easy for us to cook there. The fire pit was perfect we had bonfires each night we were there. The house is just minutes from downtown Fish Creek. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Awesome Stay

We loved our stay in Fish Creek. We booked winery tours ahead of time and this property was a short drive to all of them. Everyone who stayed raved about the size of the house and loved the setup. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Door county.

The family loved it.

The location was great for taking in activities around the area. There were restaurants within walking distance and we biked right into Peninsula State Park. There were supplies to build a fire in the outdoor fire ring and plenty of seating around the edge. The kitchen and living great room was wonderful for meals and visiting. We would love to stay there again.

Adult friends getaway

5 couples stayed to cross-country ski and snowshoe. The weather was warm so only hiking. We stayed to watch the superbowl and had a great time!
