Dreamscape Cottage POOL*VIEWS*MODERN*ELECTRICCARCHARGE

Location:
This one bedroom self catering cottage has been finished to the highest standard with granite counters and stainless steel appliances and beautiful high beamed ceilings. The cottage is private from the main house which is situated high on a hill and overlooks Harrington Sound and North Shore. We are centrally located in Smith's parish which puts you perfectly placed in the middle of the island to explore either end. Away from everything in a quiet space yet close enough to enjoy all that Bermuda has to offer at your leisure.

The Cottage:
The cottage has a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen pull out couch in the living room. There is a little deck outside to sit and enjoy the view. An awning has been installed to provide shade. Head up the steps to the side of the cottage, have a seat and enjoy the view. Wander the property and enjoy the view from the main house. Gorgeous sunrise and sunset views from this very high vantage point.

The cottage is not safe or suitable for children under 12 years of age.

Linens are provided including beach towels.

Included in the cottage is smart tv, (use your own streaming ID’s) free high speed internet access and wifi, black box VOD & TV, full fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, washer, dryer and a lovely stand up shower. We provide a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towel, soaps, WINE!, coffee&tea.

Two sets of Snorkel gear and two lovely robes provided for your use while enjoying the cottage. Please leave them for the next guest.

The Pool:

Hours are 9 am to 6 pm only. No exceptions.

Killer pool which the main house kindly shares with the cottage. This is subject to change on days we are entertaining guests but would advise our guests of any changes. Pool is NOT heated. Hot tub heat and jets are NOT available to guests.

Getting Around:

Electric car charge point (room for two)
ELECTRICITY CHARGE IS INCLUDED IN RATE

The cottage is a 5 minute(400 Metres) walk to the #3 bus at the bottom of our lane and another 5 minute (400 Metres) walk to the 10 and 11 bus. I provide you with your first bus pass for your party to get into Hamilton.

15 minutes drive to airport

10 minutes drive to City of Hamilton (4 miles away).

Johns Smiths Bay beach on South Shore is a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk for those that like to get in their exercise.
Shelly Bay beach on North Shore is a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk the other way.

Flatts Village is a pleasant 10 minute walk with restaurants a corner store and the Aquarium & Zoo.

For you walkers out there Bermuda is surprisingly hilly terrain with sidewalks on only some of the roads. So do take due care while you enjoy your walk about.

Harrington Hundreds grocery store is a 5 minute drive.

Bike rentals are available from many vendors. They will deliver and pick up so do just ask me and I can put you in the right direction to arrange this.

The rental electric car is also an option and there is a charging station installed and space to park two side by side right at the cottage.

Taxi is an easy option but I do recommend booking in advance where you can to ensure you get one when you want it. Install Hitch on you phone for ease of booking.

A fantastic spot!

Dreamscape cottage is a perfect getaway for a couple looking for a central location when visiting Bermuda. It has all the amenities you need and Corinne was a fantastic host. Her recommendation to rent an electric car from Rugged Rentals was ideal! We would definitely return to this lovely spot!

Perfect property to enjoy Bermuda

Dreamscape Cottage gave us the perfect combination of being a very well equipped base and location from which to explore the beautiful Island of Bermuda with a superb pool area to relax and enjoy the wonderful view. This was our third trip to Bermuda and without doubt the best place we have stayed. There are a couple nice restaurants that are a 15 minute walk away, the bus stop is at the bottom of the road and runs every 30 mins to Hamilton or St Georges which we used a few times for evenings out leaving the scooter behind. Corinne was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had and I would highly recommend Dreamscape Cottage to anyone wishing to explore the island and enjoy relaxing by the pool.

Gem in Bermuda

This is the perfect hideaway stay. Clean, very nicely decorated and tucked away from noise and crowds. Everything is so accessible. And they have an electric car charging station and a parking spot for your rental. We used Rugged Rental for our vehicle which significantly improved our ability to comfortably get around and see more and do more. This host responds to questions in a very timely manner which lead to my choice of stay. We loved this place and will book again in the future!

Bermuda Anniversary

We stayed at this property while in Bermuda celebrating our 30th anniversary and it did not disappoint. The cottage was super cute, and the perfect location to go anywhere on the island within an hour or less. Corinne was an exceptional host!

Quiet cottage

Beautiful views

This is a centrally-located property with great views over the water. A rental car (EV) is a good idea for getting to beaches and other points of interest on the island. The host makes it easy to learn about the area and things to do.

Wonderful stay!

The Dreamscape Cottage was everything we hoped it would be. It was clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, quiet and included the amenities that enhanced our stay. It was like home away from home. The host and her family were warm and kind and we so appreciated that. The responsiveness to my communication leading up to and during our stay was outstanding. Wonderful Home

This is a really great home. Clean and welcoming. Great kitchen that has plenty of supplies. Host even had some basic things stocked to get started. The pool is also outstanding. The view from the pool alone is worth renting this place. We were very satisfied!

Dreamscape Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage! We were able to walk to a small grocery, and several restaurants. We rented a scooter and a Current car, and were able to charge it right at the cottage. We also took the bus once and got dropped off right down the lane! Corrine was sweet and communicative .. and we enjoyed visiting her two shops , one in St. George’s and the other in Hamilton. We liked being able to make our own coffee and breakfast before setting out for the day! The pool area was gorgeous but we didn’t get to use it during our stay due to our schedule. We were able to walk to a section of the Bermuda Trail and the Aquarium as well. I would definitely recommend the cottage !!

Probably the nicest rental we have ever stayed at. Corinne made sure we had everything we needed and went over and beyond what we asked. She is the best!!! Great location, super clean, great hosts. Definitely rent the Twizy. Worth every penny and there is a hook up right outside the cottage. Couldn’t have had a nicer vacation!!!!!

We've stayed in lots of different cottages in Bermuda, and Dreamscape is one of the best. It's very centrally located, yet tucked away enough to enjoy lots of privacy. The cottage itself is well-appointed with everything you need and it's very clean. Not enough can be said about the stunning view from the pool...or the pool itself. Pure heaven. Then there are the owners who truly respect your privacy but are an absolute delight to chat with. This is a gem of a property on all levels, and I highly recommend it.

This cottage was lovely, clean and well equipped. The kitchen was wonderful, living room was comfortable, closet very spacious, location was great and the pool and view spectacular! the neighborhood was very quiet. It is at the top of a hill so if you’re not comfortable walking up hill a little you’ll have to use taxis. Otherwise you can rent a scooter or take the bus which is easy and very convenient all over this beautiful island!! Highly recommend!!

Fabulous place to stay in Bermuda

The apartment is absolutely fantastic. It is immaculately clean and furnishings are practically brand new. Its location is fantastic - walking distance to a local beach, bus stop, a convenience store and couple of real good restaurants. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped - every single basic I could wish for was there. The swimming pool is simply gorgeous and the view is magnificent. This is our third trip to Bermuda and Dream Scape is by far the best we have stayed in. If it were a hotel, this would easily be a 5 star rating! Finally, Corinne is incredibly friendly and helpful. The place is simply faultless.

Great Anniversary Stay at DreamScape

What a fabulous stay even with a hurricane looming! This was our 4th trip to Bermuda and everything was phenomenal! Corinne was an awesome hostess. Even though Hurricane Florence was barreling down on the NC coast, our time in Bermuda was perfect. DreamScape is as advertised and much more. The pool and spa were perfect with views that make you forget about the real world. It was great for relaxing after a full day around the beautiful island. The accommodations were perfect for the two of us! The kitchen area was great for preparing breakfast before a busy day. We rented a twizzy for the week and having the charger at the house was like pulling up to a constant fuel refill. Since our return, we've already recommended to many of our friends. We will definitely be back and stay at DreamScape! Thanks Corinne for a perfect visit!

Why they chose this property

The views from this property are truly special from such a high point on the island. Yet, it is walking distance to several great restaurants, a bus stop at the bottom of the hill, the Bermuda Aquarium and Zoo, several public beaches and a public dock for swimming in Harrington Sound. We love to sit out on the deck and watch the cruise ships and boats go by and enjoy the quiet of bird song. We are in the centrally sought after Smith's Parish so everything is easy access. On 22 square miles the furthest drive is to Dockyard 30 minutes by car.
